Jupiter! Wow, it has depth and clarity for days!

There really is no loser between these. It's a matter of preference and which you like 'at the time'. I go back and forth but I'm embracing the Eminence Allesandro GA-SC64 more right now since I want to break it in and continue to get to know it better. When I play the amp with the Allesandro GA-SC64, I don't feel the need to switch to the other speaker. Tbey are both superbly musical and inspire me to forget about the amp and get lost in the music. That's always been the goal for me.

@@gair1944What would you recommend for me?
I have a Carr Sportsman. I love it but the Eminence RWB is too dark and thick sounding at times. I live in the clean, and edge of breakup world, also love a good fuzz face.
      I've looked at the GA-SC64, a WGS G12c, G12Q, the Jupiter 12lc.
I just want old school sounding clean sounds and breakup with fullness and clarity. Great review btw! Thanks

It seems like we have similar tastes 👏👏, I have the 10" D'Alexandro in a Delta King, the 12LC in a Supersonic 60, and the Jupiter M12C in a Deluxe Reverb, and I think the best is the 12LC for me, the M12C It's like everything is softer, maybe it's because the LC in the Supersonic's Vibrolux circuit bothers meIt sounds better, I don't know, although for me all three are the best there is!!thank you very much for your videos, it's nice to hear you play

Been hoping to hear this comparison, and didn’t disappoint, both fantastic. Gary, I know both speakers are quite efficient, do you notice if one or the other seems more studio-friendly, at lower volumes, in the Princeton?

It’s so funny - we’re kindred spirits. I’m struggling to decide whether to keep a Cream or a GA-SC64 in my Princeton 12” at the moment. I haven’t tried the Jupiter but lord knows I don’t need to muddy the waters any more than I already have haha
What was your verdict between the Cream and Alessandro? I know the Cream is stock in the knotty pine, so is it dunzo in favor of one of these two?

Hey John, I just didn’t bond with the Celestion Alnico Cream. It doesn’t seem to be the right voice for the Princeton. I absolutely love the Allesandro 12” and I am completely happy with it in the Princeton Reverb. I wouldn’t muddy the waters with a Jupiter either. It’s just “different.” I thin the Allesandro is more Classic and it sounds great.

@@gair1944 Thanks for the validating my intuition. There is *something* about the Cream that I haven’t liked in multiple amps. I want to like it. It’s close. But it lacks some of the harmonic content and complexity of the Alessandro imo.

Thanks for doing this! I am liking the Allesandro more for overdrive tones in your video. It seems to have more growl and sustain. The Jupiters sounds great clean but seems to have more of a raw barky tone that has less sustain with drive. I currently have a Jupiter m12c in one of my blackface type amps and it is kinda too bright. This video makes me want try a Allesandro in it.

I'm glad it was helpful. I am LOVING the Eminence Allesandro GA-SC64 and it may still be breaking-in. Regardless of whether that's true, it sounds musical and inviting right now.

Jupiter has a mid range punch

I tried the 10 inch version of both of these in my Princeton. Liked the Jupiter better, until I tried an eminence alnico 1028K. 6 years later,it's still in it!
