Is it adviseable to fill in some grease trough the selector switch hole every now and then? Seems to me like it would just leak out on a drill like this that doesnt have a sealed gearbox.
I might be a dolt, but cant figure out how to search in your videos. Can you tell if you ever worked on a bosch cordless 18v- 7 or 10 or 15 angle grinder, would love to hear your thoughts on build and design quality. Also, when if ever would you use grease with molybdenum disulfide? Greetings from Denmark -Karl
Some parts are common replacements, so you would have those on hand all the time. Other parts you would need to order and wait for them to be shipped to you. We don't know if this diagnostic and repair was completed on the same day or not because of the magic of editing.
He did a video a while back of the repair shop - they have a *Ron* of parts on hand, especially for common ones. Probably also has the biggest supply of NOS parts for obsolete tools in Europe as well by the looks of that video
Hi Dean Can I buy this service kit directly from yourself? I have this exact drill must be 10+ yrs old and have put it through some me abuse, now it’s still hammering for me but to be fair probably deserves a service rather than needing one. I did buy the newer version over a year ago when it was on offer but still use this one as it actually hammers better than the newer one 🤷🏼♂️ Sometimes the older tools are best to keep running 👍🏼
Gona change oils for my hammer next weekend. Using it every day. Thaaaanks again :D
Good job, thanks for sharing
Hope you’re not too warn out from the unholy pile of repair. I really do appreciate these videos.
Not at all, I could do this all day. Have to stop more coming in as the local men that bought machines here are having to wait to long.
Those aluminum piston failures really are ubiquitous for these bosch hammer drills. But, I suppose it lasts long enough until it needs replacement.
Have this but with no hammer only option, any way to add basically it's identical
This would take me a bit longer than 8 minutes to do and I'm fairly certain it would end with me buying a new hammerdrill. Nice job.

How to do you manage to have right parts at the moment? Might be a silly question but I’m just wondering. Thanks!
