Made this for a friend. First time making it. It was easy, and rose beautifully. I used part of the strusel to fill the middle, I poured half the batter, then put some filling, still had enough for the topping. Smelled so delicious.

A hint take the partchment paper. And crunple it up. Wet the paper in water. Then squeeze the water out of the paper. And lay it in your baking dish. Pour your batter on top. So much easier.

First time with special sweet pumpkins I grew for processing, didn't have a clue what to do. Saw mother do it but never taught. First big trouble was what to do with watery puree. Throw out? Am I losing nutrients and natural sugar? Boil it down? Pumpkin seed roasting recipe from back of Hostess powdered donuts was as great as a friend's gift recipe. Different ways! Thanks Pam! The video says one cup but she comments that the can is close to two cups @ 15 oz!
