I am 70 years old and I have never seen any food trucks like this. My home is Ottawa, Canada and we only have french fry wagons when it's nice out. Closed all winter. This is probably why we don't have nice food trucks; they can only operate less than half the year. Too bad for us all.
Saw some careless sanitation practices that just did not look good. I don't know what the bottom of that bucket has been sitting on but it definitely shouldn't be the food on the flat top!
The Spanish one on the cart is cross contaminating everything with utensils that touched the raw food with the cooked food. The fire might not be hot enough since it’s open fire to kill off any contaminants. I pass by and it does look good. But I would avoid it to not get sick. However, I would buy their churros, elotes, tamales or empanadas.
This is actually a ridiculous comment! There is no cross contamination as the moment she puts it back on the grill any so called cross contaminates would be burned off! I can cut chicken, then beef, and fish with a knife, all without washing it, and once it is put on the stove or in the oven or the grill, nothing is cross contaminated.
