How can anyone NOT love this woman? She is, and always, ALWAYS has been so pure to the craft! IT has never been about Linda Ronstadt, it has always been about the music, the song!
Exactly my thought
I really enjoyed this episode also enjoyed Linda since stone ponies.
Fine tribute to Ronstadt's glorious musical chops.
I grew up when Linda was at the top of her game and was/am a huge fan, still. I LOVED her Spanish recordings but my favorite English language recording was her interpretation of Roy Orbison's "Blue Bayou." But I watched this for Aida Cuevas, also a powerful and beautiful entertainer who really taught me to sing proper, traditional Mexican music in authentic Mexican-Spanish. What a treat to have three such inspirational powerhouses in one show.
Perfect choice to celebrate Linda!!! Thank You KCET beautiful tribute.
I si agree. They should’ve been at the Kennedy Center honor.
Beautiful show! I never new about La Santa Cecilia y La Marisoul until this show, I love Linda ( Blue Bayou) and Aida Cuevas, but this girl is Amazing.
A simply beautiful celebration to Linda, Her Life, Her Songs! And her Mexican Roots! Great explanation from Linda on what made her come bk to her Roots!
Linda Ronstadt is in my Top 5 for sure.
Amazing. Linda’s career is unlike any other’s.
Love you Linda💖 Love you Aida💖🇲🇽 love every woman that celebrate our MEXICAN ROOTS ❤
I remember going to study for a year in Mexico in the late 90's, and preparing partly by learning the Canciones de Mi Padre tapes, but come to find out in Mexico they hadn't even heard of Linda Ronstadt. I think it's more of a Mexican American genre, that perhaps some people in Mexico are discovering. My husband who is Mexican had never heard of her, but now in the US his boss is Mexican American and loves Linda Ronstadt. Anyway, I love driving and trying to sing her mariachi songs. I love that they're being celebrated in this tribute. They helped me fall in love with Mexico, I love huapango and now I'm discovering jarocho music.
Did Aida say Mexicans are malinchistas for liking music from other countries...Malinche was considered a traitor, so she's saying they're traitors for not appreciating Mexican music, traditional music I supposed.
My family loves Lindas Mariachi albums. Her songs are very meaningful to me and i cherish them dearly.
Thank you Linda 💕
Fabulous female singers, all three. They are great interpreters of wonderful songs.
Thank you 💕😊 ladies for the beautiful songs you sang with those beautiful voices ♥️💕👏👏👏

Linda debe de ser más veces homenajeada por su gran trajecroria.
Aida Cuevas is a Mexican National treasure. ♥️♥️♥️♥️
How did I not know about this until now?!
That's what I'm saying.
Fabuloso!
Beautiful!

Aida Cuevas by any chance related to Carlos Cuevas the Bolero singer ?
They are brother and sister.
La frase, arriero somos se origino ,en la region Leonesa de la Maragateria ,en España,donde los arrieros trataban de hacer negocios. No es Mexicana.❤
