I’ve worn BG for years so I prefer the Eau Fraiche. I bought the perfume but gave it to my daughter. To me it was a bit nauseating. I wish they’d make a perfume with the same scent as the Eau Fraiche. Just more lasting power. I mix with Montale Intense Tiare.

I can't WAIT to be able to go into a store to sniff all these wonderful scents you're bringing to my attention. The closest department store to us is The Bay in Winnipeg (4 hours away); there's a Keg and a Sephora in that same mall, and as soon as this lockdown is over, I'm GOING. And I'll think of you as I sniff and sniff and sniff and then have a lovely meal. xo

I bought the EDP last month and for me I smelled Licorice right away. Weird! So I re-read the notes and I think I am smelling the ginger extract or a combination of ginger with the coconut. It is very powerful. But, again, to me it smells like licorice. 😁🌴🏖
I don't have any of the actual Bronze Goddess fragrances, but I do have the shimmering spray oil (2015 or 2016 version). I have had it 4 or 5 years and enjoy wearing it every summer. I'm sure it will make it to this summer's rotation, but it might get edged out by Terracotta which I recently purchased.

I figured the genre was the same but now I’m contemplating on even getting either Estée Lauder bottles and just getting bottles of the old formulation of Kilian’s LDBS and putting my money towards hunting for guerlain SDV. Hi! Question. I’m looking for a warm, toasty coconutty fragrance for summer. I like sweet stuff. I’m thinking bronze goddess edp would be for me, BUT.... I didn’t like Dolce Garden because of it’s floral aspect. And i didn’t think it was coconutty enough (I probably like a more synthetic coconut or a more sweet, toasted coconut smell). Do they compare at all?? And do you think I’d like Bronze Goddess edp? Thanks!
Side note: I DO like florals, but I’m more of a white floral lover. I didn’t like the yellow floral aspect of DG because it was heavy for me and felt suffocating.
Bronze goddess has a lot of tiare flower so I don’t think you would like it at all. It’s possible you may like comptoir sud de pacifique. They have one called Coco extreme....it’s very coconuty- not really toasted coconut. It’s a bit so the tic but definitely has a coconut note!! They have that brand at Sephora so you may want to check it out. There is also a single note coconut perfume with be layered...I haven’t smelled that one but it may be good for layering coconut! Maybe check on fragrantica for reviews on it! Hope that is helpful
Girrrrrrl. You speak to my soul. I'm the same way. Much prefer sweeter more creamy coconuts and I felt the same way about Dolce Garden! I literally made a comment in a fragrance video I'm filming that I really enjoyed the sweet mango scent but too many flowers in the dry down. Surprisingly I love Kayali Utopia. It's not super sweet but it's so creamy and dreamy. Looks like we are on the same fragrance hunt!
I bought mine at the cosmetics company. It’s a store that carries Estée Lauder products but for a discounted price...I got Bobby Brown Beach and Bronze Goddess for $24 each!! We just happen to have one in the mall here in Edmonton!
I recently purchased the EDP and on me it smells like YSL Black Opium. I don't get any coconut, but I do like this fragrance. It is a skin scent after a short time. It's not a projecting fragrance in my opinion. :)
I bought the Eau Fraiche version a few months back & I really like the scent until I read a review that said it smells like pickles! I cannot stop smelling a pickle scent when I put my nose to the bottle. Now I have to tell my brain not to smell it! Smh & Lol!
That is the risk we take looking at reviews!! 🤣 that’s too bad about the pickles...once you smell something it’s hard to unsmell it. I don’t notice pickles in this one but I’ve seen the pickle comment I think for Marc Jacobs Decadence and I’m scared to sniff it now!!! 😜
I got the Eau freich because I read it had a stronger coconut. I smell coconut, rum, and orange. I really like it just wish it was stronger/ longer lasting. I’m not sure if to get the parfum if they’re different? 😌

Same. I prefer the edp. The eau fraiche is more of a body spray to me, the edp is richer 💕

Honestly, if you have Terracotta, I wouldn’t bother. It’s not that they are the same but similar genre...I think Terracotta is better!!

That’s interesting. Licorice is a very powerful note. Once I smelled it in Mon Guerlain, I couldn’t un-smell it!!! 😀

I have the eau fresh, but the longevity was horrible. I sold it. I do want to try the parfum though. Sounds a little better.

I agree bronze goddess edp is fairly light.
i have both and to me edp smells exactly like lighter version of black opium and eau fraiche lasts surprisingly long on my skin

The edp lasts a bit longer but neither are great performers.
