Using your head while passing is an actual cheat code. I use my head under my opponent’s chin to manipulate their spine making it easy to pass and they open up

Felt like I was trying to sip from a fire hose, but your point is well made. Yes, I had to listen to you and watch certain parts over and over again, sometimes slowing it down to try and understand exactly what you mean. This video deserves several watches for me. Thank you, so much.

Yes!! Been saying this for years, your head is your 3rd arm!! Also if you're a slower wrestler, keeping contact with your head means you can read your opponents move (I call it WiFi)

Is this principle applicable in the gi as well?

If the neck is a limb, then the head is a hand.

😂 I've been doing BJJ 2/3x a week for about 6 months, this is invaluable as often I don't even have the very basic things locked down. Gonna practice making sure my head is used effectively alongside the other basic stuff I've learned, I give up my head far too easily

My wrestling conditioning coach always told us to “have good head position.” Aka always use your forehead in every position possible

If you watch Khabib's early fights in Russia, headbutts are legal and were used into the body as well as the opponent's head. PS: Targeting with the helmet in football is now a serious foul.

Why do I have the feeling you start copying Jordanteachesjiujitsus video ideas?

    So be real.
At what point should u quit?
When do u realize that u just suck and that the constant injuries aren't worth it?
    Jiu-jitsu is not for everyone.

What's your recovery protocols? Do you roll too hard? Are you open with your club about injuries or do you just go 100% all the time? Is your club training fighters and going HAM or is it a club for anyone? Talk to your coach

Pick rolling partners, roll lighter, flow roll, positional spar... I'm 49 and still roll at least twice a week. I also do MMA sparring once a week and I'm injury free for at least two years now. Just put your ego in check and adjust your expectations. I plan to keep training until they have to drag me out of the gym. Feet first.
