    Grear Video!!!
    I have observations and questions:
The resulting diagram that you get will not satisfy these equation V1=E1+I1R1+jI1X1. Why E1 is -E1?
There are many books with different phasor diagram, for example:
    Example 1:
magnetic circuits and transformers ee staff mit. This has a convention where the resulting diagram that you get satisfy these equation V1=E1+I1R1+jI1X1.
    Example 2:
AC Machine Theory - A.Langsdorf. This your convention but This mentions the other way to graph the phasor diagram indicated in the previous book.
So, Could you explain me about these different points of view?
My conclusion is that your convention does not handle the point convention but the other one does handle the point convention. it is correct?
As would be the procedure to establish a phasor diagram for an equivalent circuit of the transformer. It would be to establish the signs of the voltages and directions of the currents and based on the equations draw the diagram.

Im is developed due to v1 but what is the reason that the e1 will oppose v1
according to the transformers emf equation
    (e2)/(e1)=(n2)/(n1)=(v2)/(v1)
so why should e1 oppose v1

    • @ashtiw11

That is because conventionally we take - to + as negative,in E1 current is flowing from + to - ,you know that when we apply kvl we have to assign signs ,if you take the direction of current as clockwise then the equation that was in this video will be formed and you will get the answer you are asking him for.

Hi, Could you explain me Why E1 is -E1?

    • @jaymol4424
      @jaymol4424 2 роки тому

Because EMF(E1) is always induced such that it tends oppose the change producing it in that case, the primary side of things(Lenz Law). That's why E1 was placed on the -y axis and was brought back to y-axis albeit negative. Atleast, thats the rationale I came up with.

Assume there are no loss of energy in the primary side of things, and V1=E1. E1 will be equal but opposite to V1. Hence, if its placed in the +y axis it ought to be negative.
