Project pamalas I am experimenting with Chinese 200 watt i e 23000 lumen on aquarium plants Java fern, some rotalas, and with some low tech anubias... What's ur say on this
I am experimenting with Chinese 200 watt = 23000 lumen on a part of my aquarium, where there are a some anubias, Java fern and some rotalas type stem plants, how do you react to this?
Man, you killed me with the avatar for the 3 measuring concepts :D So par is an ikemen, and everything else are just boring looking dudes? will wpg turn into saitama?
It is 30 lumen per litre, 200 litre is massive so 6000 lumens is correct. A larger lightbulb can have 2000+ lumen so you could either hang three led bulbs or get 1 or 2 led flood lights
@@Jaysaquarium Thank you for your reply! So based on your calculations , considering that I have an aquarium of 125 liters 77cm long, 37cm height, 38cm deep, what roughly estimated of lumens to use would be ??? Of course as you said before, doesn't have to be exact but only an estimated. Thank you again!
One of the only helpful videos I've ever found on this topic. Lighting a high tech 90 gallon planted tank has been quite the adventure.

Thanks for making all of these explanation videos. If you're not a teacher/lecturer for your day job, you should be :)
Great way to explain it now I have a better understanding about the lighting
Well considered and cogent explanations. Right on the mark! Well done, sir.
Creative explanation
ThAnk you so much for the video!
Excellent explanation!
Thank you very much!

I am confused, is it 3lumen/L or 30lumen/L? 6000lumen for a 200L tank sounds like an awefull lot.
3 lumen per litre or 30 lumen per gallon

how much watt led is needed for 60 liter tank?
Somebody please comment how much watt per liter.
Video is confusing. Im soldering LEDs so dont know its lumen
I wanna make a diy led...now how can I know the lumens that the led stripes have....
difficult to know unless the manufacturer provides the numbers.
30 lumens/ l x100 l= 3000 lumens
Totally correct. My mistake
@@Jaysaquarium So If I have a 125 liters aquarium, and my lamp has only 1100 lumens, this means I need 2 more additional lamps???
@@SirTenochno. lumens per gallon is only a rough estimate at best
