I have one of these. It's a 1979 XS850 which was converted into a trike some time ago. I am refurbing it over the winter and looking forward to riding it in Spring 2025.
you can use your car's battery to turn the bike over and it shouldn't drain significantly, though I've only heard of people doing it (not done it myself). As for the carbs (not sure from which model yours came from), the ones from the tiger had many vacuum lines and one fuel line feeding all three carbs

Great video mate! Get a car battery with more Amp/h but my advice is to go through the engine before you try to start it, own experience.. Our Sr500 had a split pistonring. Keep it up!!
Oldschool Bikes I think I will buddy, I managed to get it turning much quicker once the battery was charged but the jetting was way off I think to even consider it starting.
