Hey so you said the main variable you should consider between the two Flairs ( 58s vs 58+) is the wood color and I think that’s not necessarily right. While there is not a huge difference between the machines, the wood assent is the smallest difference. The differences are: - The power cord doesn’t need to be disconnected in a specific way that was necessary in order not to brick the power machine - the piston/ brew cylinder is updated so you don’t have to latch it every time you pull a shot - the non pressurized basket comes with it, normally you have to purchase it separately - the mirror comes with it, something that doesn’t come with the base model. Also the spot on the flair that is magnetic is only on the flair 58 + Again, not huge upgrades at all, but saying the color is the main difference between the two is not true
The power cord and cylinder are also on the standard 58 as of a month ago. Same with the magnetic mount. Also comes on the current 58 that is being sold. You do have to buy the mirror separately though. They updated the standard 58 with the release of the plus
Also adding that you can buy the shot mirror separately and there is a discount for bundling the high wall basket with the regular 58. I just got one of the new 58's that has all the updates from the plus and love it. Plan is to stick with the low flow basket and get an IMS or VST basket once I have explored the machine more and gotten comfortable
I have been looking for a good comparison with the regular 58 (2023 version). This one answers all my questions. I really love the walnut accent, but for me, it's not worth the additional cost because I already have other 58mm accessories. Thanks for emphasizing the all black features on the body, it's not being mentioned on Reddit. Now that you mentioned it, I also like the all black on the body.
I was having squeaking at the hinge with the flair pro. I put food grade silicone grease and it hasn’t made noise since. I had to punch out the pins to do it since it’s not screws like the 58
@@CabeensCoffeeCorner I just bought it from their website but it says it does not ship until Nov 15. I also have the Breville Dual Boiler, it's been going strong for 10 years but the pump is starting to struggle, so I will use it as my milk steamer
I have the Flair 58. On the 58+ does the cylinder rotate ever so slightly on every pull? On my 58 I have to rotate the cylinder after about 50 lever pulls to keep the slots from in the cylinder from lining up with the protrusions on the plunger. When this happens the cylinder will be stuck at the bottom and you will need to rotate the plunger by hand about half an inch in order to grab the inner edges of the cylinder, allowing upward force to bring the cylinder to the top. Does the 58+ do this? Thanks for the video.
@@CabeensCoffeeCorner it's tight. This is a common problem. A bit annoying but not a deal breaker. I see here at 5:43 you did mention it. Good to know the new one doesn't do it.
i’ve been looking and seen one person talking about the silicone heat shield that covers the brew chamber being a tad taller and funnel shaped on the 58+ vs 58x/58. is that the case? and awesome to know the power doesn’t have to be disconnected in a certain way
Q: What's the difference between "pressed" coffe and coffee from cezve? I do last one and I'm sure I get ALL TASTE from the powder, because it stays in a water enough time.
Is there any difference between the plus and the limited edition models. They seem very similar except the limited edition has le accents and the plus has +
Hey! I bought a bag of some nice archetype coffee recently and never got it to where I liked it but my last brew I did an immersion style instead of espresso because you can't really mess that up and it was delicious. Any chance you can talk about grind size, and timings for your espresso pull?

Question. With this machine I’m able to make cappuccino? Or is only espresso ? And one more question. Grinder coffee machine that work perfect with this Fleir … thanks , appreciate any tips 👍🏻
When pressure drops it because of a deteriorating puck. It happens with every machine. Over time it takes less water pressure to go through the puck you can press harder but then water comes through faster. Does that make sense? It’s not an issue with flair it would happen with any machines. That’s why flow rate is slower at the beginning of the shot!
Almost 800 euro for device same simple as juice extractor! Well, plus $10 coil to heat water. Guys, are you mad? $400 is the hottest price with all accessories.
I have had Flair 58 for 2 years. Best money I have ever spent. Once you know what you are doing you simply cannot get the same quality shots unless you buy a high-end conventional espresso machine.
@@mikegurv1818hey can you help give some insight to me. Im planning to startup a small business. Is flair 58 a better choice in this price range? Comparing to gemilai crm3145. How different is the espresso quality?

Absolutely, but the main difference is that you don't have to constantly change the O ring.
Yeah I’ve changed my o ring again haha. So frustrating. Might sell mine to be honest.

Do you still have to disconnect the Flair 58+ cables in a certain order to not damage it?
nope

That’s a good idea!
Are you able to make the "slayer shot" with thr flair 58 with light roast coffee? Neeed to know this before pulling the trigger.
Yes! I just tried it!
Great video. Very thorough. I’m excited to purchase a flair.
I hope you enjoy
maybe use mineral oil instead of wd40

What’s different between flair 58 plus vs flair 58x?
The looks
Not only looks but there is one very fundamental difference which is 58x doesn't have electronics but 58 plus of course does.
What's better the pro2 and the flair 58+ ?
Shot quality goes to the flair 58. Price and portability goes to the pro 2

The funnel shape is the same on all of them. The switched the brew chambers in 2023. Older models wont have the taller funnel
The feedback during the shot is extremely helpful. It’s the reason I have been using a pro2 and upgrading to a 58 soon.
It’s a nice upgrade!
What's the width for the flair 58+?
Should be in the website
Hey question... so what's the difference between the Flair 58LE and the Flair 58+?
not much really. The cable has change and they added the shot mirror. Very minor thing.
@@CabeensCoffeeCorner I though the shot mirror was on the LE as well?
Does the LE have the upgraded plunger connection and wider spout opening?
How is the crema in this machine? People care about the crema to have the aroma and flavor..
Crema is good if you have the right beans
Yes I think so, thankyou for replying..
Q: What's the difference between "pressed" coffe and coffee from cezve? I do last one and I'm sure I get ALL TASTE from the powder, because it stays in a water enough time.
its would create more pressure
Are experience misalignment of the plunger from shot to shot? Mine didn’t come with a plunger key. How to adjust it to the original position?
Do you have the 58 plus
I do. July 2023 model
How much time to wait for heating at the high setting?
Probably around 5
Q: if you pass one portion of water thru coffee powder, can you pass another one? Or one press - one cup?
you can but it wouldn't taste very good.
One press one "cup"
Plunger ate my cylinder, took a few months. i wouldn't call it reliable.
How so?
Can you explain that, I just bought one and I'm starting brew with it
Maybe don't move the lever without water in the cylinder?
it's can be use without preheat cable?
Yes

I believe the le models didn't have the new cable, brew head might be a tad different, and the shot mirror. Not a ton of differences though!
