Spinal Tap origins late 1970s I believe and the film didn't take off instantly, it was a Slow Burn but they made it to SNL and I saw that thankfully, Big Bottom and Christmas with the Devil, I think it was May of 1984

Tap have continued since the movie so there's loads of material outside the film. I have to admit I was in stitches last night at the hotel and hospital scene in 'more bad news'

We were metal heads in the mid 80's and we used to drink lots of 'cheap' beer, smoke as much 'expensive' dope as we could afford and laugh our bollox of at Bad news. Great days and a great song. Brings back many 'not' guilty memories.

The live drum sound in this version is much better than the album version which seems to be a drum machine and the tempo is slower!
