Let’s face it, women with angular features (like a jawline) and men with rounded features often have a hard time with others categorizing them as “masculine” or “feminine” and not as a compliment. I appreciate this woman’s understanding of how she’s perceived and that she wants to take control of it, and Christopher’s understanding of what she’s experienced and what she needs. The volume and layers really balance her features and she looks fabulous.
Underneath that tough exterior is a gentle and vulnerable lady. She has a soft heart that she guards diligently.
What I notice- he makes women like themselves again. She comes across as defeated and angry in the beginning, then he does his magic and he softens her look and she is revealed, her inner self, and you see instant softening IN her eyes. You are magic. I wish I was in a place to be able to do this right now. Someday Christopher I’ll be able to have you help me find my light again. Or at least help me piece them back together. You are so wonderful for doing this. So much more than a haircut/style- it’s a gift you give. ❤️

Totally agree. I love everything he does but I always find myself wishing he would stop at the point when their head is just a mass of natural curls before he then "over-styles" it. I always prefer the natural look to the over-styled look. it's also more easily managed for them. But I'm sure my idea of "over-styling" is not everyone's..... that's just me.

Agreed. The curly look was great and I instantly thought, "That's the hairstyle I've wanted for years and can never get." Regardless, it's brave to do those makeovers and trust someone to tailor your look for you.
Chris and his team do fabulous makeovers, however, is there anyway possible to have a separate, dedicated, soundproof room to video them? Extremely hard to hear and understand what is being said, especially when the makeup artist is speaking, very hard to hear her!!! Plus, the background noise detracts from the overall enjoyment of watching the makeover!!!
Wow, look at 4:24, before the brush out and back combing, fasten an updo at that moment and voila, dramatic, boldly feminine. Beautiful woman. I hope she found her personal gratifying, classic style. I loved her bracelet. Much love ❣️

She looked at her best when he held her hair up and showed her how she could pin it up. It looked pretty and casual and
the trailing pieces framed her face. That is almost always a best look. It carries the eye upward. And, if you like earrings, its a
great way to show them off, along with your yes. With age, women need to bring their hair length up above their shoulders, add
highlights, even their skin tone, bring some highlighting around the eyes, and use gentle color on eyes, cheeks, and lips. I'm glad
she got her makeover done. But, for women who can't make that appt., please know you can do this for yourself.

what i love about Christopher is he treats each client as a individual-he knows about hair-texture,face shape,how each head of hair is different and each one is given a personalized style,color-amazing!!! i wish every hairdresser had that gift!!!!
I liked her hair best at 4:30 a littel more messy than the end version which was more combed out.
Tousled look was by far better looking on her.

that's exactly what I said, 'Angie Dickinson'!! but you know, when he was doing all the fluff and there was so much curl in her hair? wow came out of my mouth.. I don't know why he didn't leave all that fluff and bounce the way it was.. that gave her so much beauty... it kind of equaled her face in weight/volume/mass (if that makes any sense) and it made her features seem more delicate.. like she WANTED smaller features. I probably watch too many of these today. I will fight you for Christopher

Great job, her hair definitely looks much better and the colour is good. Darker colours risk to make her look strict and older. Maybe her hair was a bit too high in the middle but she may change that next time.. she looks really refreshed

The sad thing is in this world if you aren’t short and thin you are considered less feminine. It is so hard for a woman who is tall or woman who is larger, be that athletic or heavy, to feel feminine when all the ideals are supposedly willow like women. In the same way women are “supposed” to be quiet and compliant, the minute we assert ourselves we are witches. Be yourself baby, they come with you or they don’t, leave them behind!!
This woman is beautiful! She has great facial structure and coloring and NO she does not look like a guy. Screw people who judge you on appearance alone. Short hair doesn't look good on every woman, but it shouldn't immediately imply that your having short hair means anything at all. I have a rectangular face with a strong square jaw, and when I wore very short hair, I was accused of being a butch also. Ludicrous. Short hair is easy to manage.
