I absolutely loved this. I was coloring along with similar pencils on a page in magical jungle and I loved your stories and your voice was so meditative and I loved listening to the silence & the birds and you're very calm voice and I love your techniques and I love the fact that you cherish and get to know your pencils as I feel that I do. I have just been having a questionable time about the variety of better brands of art supplies - pencils, watercolors, books and paper testing pads - I was thinking that I was crazy but I felt very understood when you discussed your feeling about how these pencils feel in your hand etc. and I feel the same way and I also feel that they work well together and I liked it to see that. Thank you very much I will continue to listen to your wonderful stories and watch you as you remind me to use a very light hand when I color ♡,diana
I have heard that Sennelier paints are fabulous and really luxurious. Apparently, the watercolors have a honey base to make them luminous and keep the pigments bound together. I can't wait to hear what you think of them.
I have a quick question. When you are coloring, do you work straight out of your derwent bag with your colors, or do you have them organized in something else?
I need to take time to watch your videos. I find myself coloring with too heavy a hand and covering an entire area with the light color first. I need to stop. I need to color in patches with no rhyme or reason here and there like you do. My botanicals don’t come out pretty at all. I struggle and it frustrates me instead of having fun. I never know where to put highlights. I need to get it out of my mind I need to color realistic pictures. It’s ok to color with what ever I like. Thank you for your videos.
very relaxing 😊 can I ask you a question about which color pencils brand are good for base layers as you mentioned that Prismacolor are good for final layer I read somewhere that if we colour last layer with luminous it's going to be light fast
I bet the black and white crow like birds are magpies! We have them here in the states (Utah) and they bully all the birds and even used to bully my DOG! My cat used to have to stick up for my dog and chase them off haha!
That color scheme is awesome, one of my favourites so far. I'd love to see more episodes on this page. Thanks so much for sharing this beauty with us!

Is there a video how you did the background? It's soooo beautiful!

I read somewhere that if we colour last layer with luminous it's going to be light fast
I mainly use Polychromos, Bruynzeel, Luminance and Irojiten for the first layers.
Henny, how did you do the background?did you use watercolor pencils or Derwent Inktense pencils?
It's all done with coloured pencil.
are there any other colors that you recommend.
