What Is Your Hottest NFL Take Right Now? 🤔
Eagles is more then good enough to go to the super bowl. the two issues I have with this team is Nick and Jalen. specifically the combo of the two. It still possible for the two to find it out but I am getting more feeling that it wont happen with Nick. Ill add that I did before watching the vid. Like there is more issues but it isnt why this team struggles as much in my book.
Darnold > Mahomes ROS
Bucky Irving will finish the season as the Bucs rb1
vikings defense will be exposed, they are wholesale frauds
The Vikings will win the superbowl
Teams like the Eagles and my Jets show how much coaching truly matters. You can have the most talented roster in the league but if you don’t have at least a good coach, you won’t accomplish much.
At least Salah gave the Jets a Top 5 defense the last 3 years. Besides the Brotherly Shove, Sirianni doesn't bring anything to make the Eagles better.
@@KDub2234 fair enough, but we as well single handedly lose games because of his coaching. Not easy being green
eagles were a play or two away from winning the superbowl.... if they won the superbowl all these conversations would be different
@@chaaase73 maybe so, but they didn’t win. And now we’re about a season and a half removed from that. They haven’t looked like that same team in a long time, and it’s been more downward than upward.
@@chaaase73I wish you were a fan of my team! I love the optimism. If the Vikings won all 4 of the super bowls people would talk different 😅
Nick Siriani ain’t it man
How he didn’t get fired after last season is utterly puzzling
@@jimmymcguire3191I jump for joy every time I remember the Eagles keep a completely incompetent staff year after year
@@Sindrella.ya somehow nick is probably better than chip…
I can’t wait for the sea of “SEE YA!” memes to flood my timeline when he eventually gets fired
@@TheClutchCanuck that started his downfall
Im not an eagles fan but i truly thought the addition of Barkley was going to make them the NFC frontrunners.. Coaching really matters
Gotta relax.. eagles been injured and if Saquon doesn’t drop a wide open pass then the eagles are 3-1
I'm an Eagles/Steelers fan. We have seen one game where the Eagles were at full strength. They won 34-29 against the Packers on a bad field in Brazil despite turning the ball over three times. The offensive potential of this team is crazy. But then AJ Brown pulled a hammy prior to the home opener and Smitty got concussed during the Saints game. Jalen had backup receivers Week 4 at Tampa Bay in 100+ degree heat and the offense had to adjust because the receivers were not AJ Brown and Devonta Smith. I feel like I need to see more of this team at full strength before calling the season over. They could come back from the bye and destroy teams. We don't know, and we won't know until we see it. I'm cautiously optimistic, but Nick has to be better with his coaching decisions. He low-key cost us the Atlanta game and nearly cost us against the Saints.
The issue with that is when you pay a qb 255 million dollars he’s supposed to be THE guy, situation be damned he makes that much because he’s supposed to be able to adapt and overcome what’s going on
i agree, the eagles are by no means a perfect team, but theres been a lot of other factors that have affected them, and they're just a very inconsistent team. i am a fan, and fan stands for FANATIC, so i will always be hopeful that they bounce back, the timing of this bye week is much better than i thought it would be. they have a lot they need to work on and fix and i think they can, and im hoping they will.
@@_miseenplace23 I don't disagree. But I don't think Jalen can be entirely blamed for the current situation. He needs to play better but he's far from the worst problem on the team.
Hurts is awful
This also shows just how bad the Packers and Love are
I'm saying this as an Eagles fan so take it with a grain of salt.
But I really don't think Jalen is a problem (yes he has issues but he's not *the* problem or holding us back) nor do I think Vic or Kellen are issues either.
Jalen does have a turn over problem, but from what I see we're not using Jalen properly, in 2022 we had tons of QB runs, Jalen has hardly done any runs this year, and when he had (late against Atlanta) it got us down the field into the redzone quickly.
The Defense is a clear work in progress, new coordinator obviously but also lacking in many areas, with some guys aging out and others being 1st or 2nd year players still developing, I think the defense is going to be at least league average by the end of the year (assuming no major injuries).
The offense seems to be a clear case of Sirianni yet again refusing to give up play calling, this offense is nothing like anything Kellen Moore has ran before, and has tons of hallmarks of Sirianni's type of play calling. In week 1 you could see the Kellen Moore offense very clearly, but in the last 3 weeks it's become apparent that Nick still has say over this offense and that needs to be removed from the equation. Let Moore Cook.
Sirianni needs to be fired, be it mid season or at the end of the season, but as it stands removing Sirianni imo solves the majority of problems this team has.
Jalen has to fix his turnover problems, work on his ball control, etc, but he shouldn't be in many of these situations in the first place.
Jalen should have his audibles limited imo - too often are the eagles drawing up a play from under center just for Jalen to shift into the gun. Still too reliant on inside and outside zone as a result of limited formation options, it’s why teams are just crowding the box with cover 0.
Why does everyone think Kellen Moore is a good oc.. the chargers offense was garbage under him last year and zeke went down hill exactly when Moore showed up. I think nobody’s caught on yet that every team he goes to declines when he’s there. People are too busy blaming the head coach while Moore catches the bus to the next town
You should be _glad_ Kellen Moore isn't calling like before. There's a reason Dak Prscott led in INTs with him - -despite _missing _*_5 games_* then was in the MVP discussion without him. & that reason can be seen here ua-cam.com/video/9IjgyFHdVVs/v-deo.html.
I don't think anyone who comes to this channel actually understands play-calling. No one seems to be able to point to anything any play-caller does that's good or bad. Hopefully that video, even though the person who made incorrectly blames Staley for it teaches any of you anything because you're all missing out on a _LOT_ of what makes the NFL interesting.
Very few QBs can pull a CJ Stroud/Ben Roethlisberger and come in and be impactful on Day 1. Most of the best QBs (Rogers, Favre, Young) sat at first. Expecting a rookie QB to turn around a bad team is foolish
Favre didn't sit not really. He was starting a few games into his GB career after being unwanted in Atlanta.
@@kurtwicklund8901 Yes, Favre sat a whole season in ATL, then another 3 games in GB. Thanks for making my point.
Agreed. You look at most of the great QB's they either went to teams that were in good situations and ready to win, or they sat for a while. Usually both were true. Look at all of the Elite QBs and almost all of them were put in situations to suceed. Patrick Mahomes, Drew Brees, Phillip Rivers, Ben Rothlisberger. Tom Brady. All of these guys took over for teams ready to win - and most were already winning. People forget that the Chiefs were a damn good football team even before Mahomes took over. They had one of the best offenses in the league and were even seen as a dark horse SB contender at times.
As an eagles fan I have to say that Nick is completely using us so wrong we need to hire bill or vrabel
From my perspective, Hurts has regressed. I don't see the player that I watched in 2022. Their defense is a shell of what it was. Sirianni is a dumbass that makes winning games harder. They've got talent but I don't see them getting past the Divisional Round.
agreed. hurts has looked bad the last 2 years but a good coach would be able to make it easier on him and still get wins with mediocre play considering how talented the rest of the roster is.
Didn't your fudge packers lose to the eagles? 😂
“I don’t trust Washington’s defense” shiii as a cowboys fan I don’t trust our offense at all.
As an Eagles fan, we are in an incredibly tough spot with how bad the defense is.
Look at what happened to Atlanta after they lost 28-3, they had no defense and it was why they weren’t able to go back to the Super Bowl in Matt Ryan’s career. A majority of their defensive draft picks didn’t work out long term and it took them 6 full years just to build a competent defense.
The Eagles have one of the worst defenses in the NFL and not many guys who you can say will be future stars other than Quinyon Mitchell. Jalen Carter only shows up against bad and injured offensive lines, Nolan Smith doesn’t have the size to play in the NFL as an edge rusher, Nakobe Dean can’t cover, and Jordan Davis can’t play on 3rd downs. CJ Gardner Johnson completely washed and guys like Reed Blankenship are just “solid” starters, not stars. The linebacker position has sucked for years and the Eagles consistently finish in the bottom of the league in defensive turnovers forced. There really isn’t anything here.
I truly don’t believe Hurts is as bad as he is, but regardless, the Eagles have set themselves up to basically be an 8-9 win team every year with the ceiling of a first round loss with the defense they have. I expect them to fire Sirianni sooner rather than later and the Eagles are the ONLY team in the league that I think should look for a defensive minded head coach over an offensive mind.
Howie Roseman is a good GM and the best we’ve had in franchise history but he’s missed on a lot of his draft picks and has dug himself into a hole, he has to be held accountable and change the way he operates as well.
Damn, I thought Eagles defense was supposed to be scary. A lot of big names. Their front 7 is supposed to be one of the best.
@@TyTimeIsAwesomewatch any game, the old eagles defense is long gone. If you ask me it should be getting 10x any attention hurts gets but it is what it is
Yeah we need Mike Vrabel so bad
A team like the eagles and jets should be contenders with the rosters they have but coaching is key. Saleh and Sirriani are holding back their teams and they won’t go anywhere if they both don’t get fired.
As an Eagles fan… we are sad 😞
When they resigned CJGJ, after how he performed in Detroit, I knew it was a wrap for that defense.
Honestly think that the best thing to do with young QBs comin out is what Washington is doing with JD5. Telling them they have to compete for the start to see how they rise to the challenge(this determines the character of your QB), not pressuring him to be a hero of the city despite the fans anointing him that, giving him support with run/quick game. Jayden's character also helps in the long run. He is a gym rat and competitor. He loves football and isn't arrogant, but still has confidence in himself.
i love watching ur videos , such a good comfort yt channel.
@@not6936 I am glad you enjoy!!
Redskins fan here. We're getting better but are not likely to win the NFC East. With that being said, Cowboys have a dysfunctional front office and the Eagles coach isn't the best.
Winning the division is technically possible but not likely.
I can't frickin believe I'm saying this but the Redskins are the only competent team in the NFC East right now
McDermott is not a CEO head coach, he calls consistently one of the best defenses year in and year out regardless of the many injuries they always have
1:03 Bills Mafia recency bias arrogance😂😂😂 Sean and Allen Got yall that stadium. All the bill did before Allen and McDermott was be the third best team in the AFC EAST and cope about losing those 4 consecutive loses 😂😂😂
As an Eagles fan I too thought the coordinates where the problem last year but this is still apparently Sirianni's football team just with more motion added! Nick Sirianni's is the type of coach who seems to think that the positioning of skilled players to take advantage of their strengths and properly preparing for match ups isn't as important as sticking to HIS philosophy of what makes a good football team. As a result he's grossly mismanaged his players and what he expects out of them!
Jalen Hurts is an incredible dual threat quarterback. However, he's lacking in some key fundamentals that could make him a truly elite quarterback. Reading defenses is something he's working on now that Kelce is retired and not doing it for him as much. He's also working on pre snap motion but hasn't shown much of that in the last two games. Hurts STILL doesn't have a wide view of the field and it's preventing him from having urgency in the pocket getting the ball to his receivers. Yet, because those receiver aren't Brown or Smith he's not showing the same trust in the backups. Which brings us to the question... WHO THE HELL is going to take responsibility for this man's development!? If it's not moore busy writing the playbook then it has to be Sirianni! "We have our moments" does NOT bode well for that relationship!
Another example is the mismanagement of Bryce Huff! Bryce Huff is nicknamed the Bugatti for a reason, it is because he has great take off as a pass rusher. When he was with the Jets he stayed in a 4 point stance (yes on all fours) and would take off past the blocker and rush the quarterback. He'd be so fast that the blocker on the opposing offense would barely have time to take control of him and he'd sack the QB. The problem is the Eagles are trying to use him as a dedicated linebacker who has to think about everything else around him. He's on both legs in a 2 point stance and can't take off as fast so when he's rushing the passer, even the tight end is able to block him!
If Huff was supposed the be a dedicated linebacker then the pre-season was the time to test this and work things out on defense but no, Sirianni never lets his starters play in preseason games so now we are a quarter into the regular season and just NOW learned he can easily be blocked! The solution is to let Bryce Huff do what he does best! Let him take off in his 4 point stance and think of nothing else but sack the QB! Yes this is a blunder on Howie thinking he's suitably replacement of Hassan Reddick but an even bigger blunder on coach Sirianni for not listening to Fangio when he said he wasn't ready and forced him to stay with his philosophy. It's all fitting a square peg in a round whole scenario.
It's decisions from a head coach who's not as smart as he thinks he is. Unless Nick wants to take the time to develop his players around his philosophy of a football team then the Eagles are gonna continue to win and loses by the skin of their teeth because Sirianni's hasn't learned that asking Howie Roseman to get skilled player to slot in isn't enough! A talented roster hampered by decisions that make life harder for the players and mistakes then follow. If the Eagles organization can get the chance they should get rid of Sirianni ASAP and find a coach who actually will position these players to get the most out of them!
Eagles never sniffing a Super Bowl again
Slandering the Chargers must be like crack to these people.
Can we all breathe. They have played 4 games. Half your offense in which everyone was raving about is hurt and I think yall are forgetting that it takes time for new offenses to be good. A lot of teams that’s are up there aren’t all on their brand new offensive coordinator or defensive coordinator. Just breathe. I believe they are gonna be good in the upcoming week with you getting your players back off the bye. Can we all not rule or determine a teams season off 4 games
Emperor Bill is going to have fun with this team
It's the curse of Kinney Pickett
The Eagles' defenders suck at the fundamentals of football. It's maddening to watch. The offense is up and down, and Jalen Hurts can't stop the crippling turnovers.
We've seen both their ceiling, (championship level) and their floor (as bad as an NFL team can be). Unfortunately, they don't seem to have risen far from the floor. Other than Saquon, this is the same team that finished last season 1-6.
It's clearly a problem with coaching. When a team consistently looks unprepared and frustrated, and often seems to lack effort, it's always coaching. Nothing will improve until Sirianni is fired.
I’m not an Eagles fan, but I’ll never forget the absolutely pathetic tackling in the Bucs WC game.
As an eagles fan I have given up on football and choose to watch the philies.
I swear if we lose to the Mets...
Word of the day: Fewer.
Comparisons between numerical quantities use fewer not less. _The Eagles have fewer wins this year after four weeks than in 2023._
Oh my! The Bryce young broken play looked bad. His WRs didn’t even get open to help him out, what in the world lol
Makes me really question if they lost faith in him
No doubt the team had completely quit on Young. Squads and rooms hate nothing more than to be constantly blamed for one single player's glaring shortcomings. Look how they rallied around Dalton on his first game, and played their hearts out for him.
@@jeanfourcade I think its just as combination of that an leadership. Say what you want about Dalton but he's a vet who knows how to carry himself in a huddle. He's going to make a far bigger impression than a young QB who's confidence is clearly shaken.
bro why does srinanni look so grizzled on the sideline, like he looks like he aged 20 years since last season
The Chargers play Tampa twice. Recheck that schedule, bro.
Eagles fans an then the media are jus overreacting crazy as hell if u ask me
Its crazy how incompetent they are a couple more losses and Nick is gone
Sirianni is the dumbest head coach in nfl rn and hurts is so mid he can’t dominate with the best offense in the league. Pretty basic
Tbh Hurts was always high mid; hell they were questioning him as a starter for Philly at one point. It wasn't until AJ Brown joined the Eagles when the narrative on Hurts changed.....
I said this last year and everyone called me a madman, its cuz I was way too early but I saw the signs. That pancake schedule last season + an all star team and they still weren’t good, then they imploded…
Nobody beats Baltimore..Baltimore beats THEMSELVES 💯
I’m a Bills fan and there is absolutely no way we’re getting rid of McDermott. The only reason why we’re relevant again is because of him. Plus, like you said, who is going to replace him? They’re competitive every year. He’s not going anywhere
My take: comparing the progressions of guys like Mahomes and Love, and guys like Trevor Lawrence, Justin Fields, and Bryce Young, I think it's important for rookie QB's to sit a year behind a veteran and learn the ins and outs of the NFL and the position at that level rather than be thrown into the fire from day 1.
There is a disgusting mindset poisoning football these days where every year is "Superbowl or bust". We are shitting on coaches and players like Lamar, Josh Allen, and Burrow for not winning a Superbowl in their first 3-5 years and it's insane. Only 1 team can win.... a SB is now being considered the MINIMUM requirement to be considered a great player while in the past it never was.
Think this is gonna be a fire series
McDermott calls plays on defense or did last season I’m pretty sure he still is
Bills letting the Chiefs move up in the draft was the fucking dumbest thing I've ever seen in football.
Miami wont win more than 5 games with a big question mark at QB
you’re really the hoops reference of football. love it 😂
Eagles are a new coach away from winning a SB. Siriani aint serious enough to get it right
This is what happens when you endorse camel harris you hand your man card and go from being a jurggernaut to a laughing stock i,e eagles 😅
As a Panthers fan that Bryce Young take is wild, it just makes me think they didn't watch the games. My take on Bryce: he either needs the bouncy footwork to be adapted to the NFL and give him vision in the center of the field or he needs to learn to play with normal footwork and just throw outside the numbers giving up the middle. On top of that he needs to either really hit training hard to be able to scramble better when he rolls out or he needs to work really fast when he does so he doesn't get run down. Even if he gets either of those right Bryce still needs to learn to throw on the run when he bails on the pocket, which he just cannot do right now. It's a damn shame but Bryce's skills just did not translate to the NFL, he needs a ton of work and development.
Eagles shouuld hire Ben Johnson
Eagles are 2-2, and only one of the two losses was a big loss. It's way too soon to say it's over. Everyone likes to be doom and gloom for the Eagles every time they have a single loss.
6:24, since when did the chargers play the buccaneers twice ? 😂😂
I got a hot take. If the Niners lose this year again they should fire Kyle Shanahan and bring some one new in. He has had so many changes and he has a super team. 2 blown super bowls where they should have won easily and so many wasted playoff loses. I get it he win but if you cant win the big game it doesn't matter.
This team will be ok!
AJ misses 3 games, Devonta missed a game, and Lane missed a game! They put a lot of money into their offense because they knew this year and next, their offense has to lead while their rookies grow. The bye week came at the right time as far as health and reevaluating.
Nick isn’t a bad coach but has to learn to get out of the way! Jalen will hopefully will minimize his turnovers. This team has the opportunity to be lights out and we’ve seen flashes so far this season.
I appreciate you giving a very level headed response about the Eagles. That being said, as an Eagles fan, we're not a good team. We have talent, but we're not a good team.
Just look at that 2022 historic Eagles defense, Brandon Graham, Fletcher Cox, Jevon Hargrave, Hassan Reddick, Josh Sweat, T.J. Edwards, etc. People wonder why the 2024 Eagles are doing poorly on defense, only two of those dudes are left and they are getting near retirement.
Ayyyy that sirianni one was mine i think😂
Came for an Eagles video, somehow ended up in a Bills analysis? Squirrel!!!
McDermott fired if the Bills don't win the Super Bowl is a garbage take. What, should they fire him if they lose the Super Bowl? Lose the AFC Championship?
Three of the four teams in the NFC East are going to be replacing their head coaches after this season and the fourth (Washington) will be replacing their OC because he’s going to be a head coach again after this season.
You mention the Bengals like they didn’t also go back to the afc championship the next year and by the way, beating Allen in his own house. Put some respect on Zac’s name
A 2-2 start isn’t the end of the world. I still think Philly rights the ship and ends up as division winners. Adding the league’s leading rusher never hurt their cause
I honestly think Nick SIRIANI needs to go and hire whoever is the OC/PLAYCALLER/QB coach from Minnesota who making sam darnold a MVP CANDIDATE AT THIS MOMENT
I feel bad for Americans and especially Eagles fans. Everything comes down to throw it away and get a new one. Computer doesn't work, throw it away and get a new one. Partner doesn't work, throw them away and get a new one. Friends don't work, throw them away and get a new one. Eagles are losing, throw them under the bus and get a new one (players, coaches, and owner included). Just living the American dream, I guess.
Eagles haven’t been the same since losing to the Niners last season. Reddick breaks Purdy and the 49ers responds in kind by decimating them the following season
Who do you think the eagles should go after that would best suit Jalen and the offense ?
10:05 Sneaky Josh Rosen reference 😂
Nick should've been gone after last years collapse. He's not ready. Hus hands are still on the offense, i.e... tush push, long developing receiver routes, not getting rbs involved in offense. He is our downfall. We have the best roster in the nfc east on paper. Yet we are still playing like the worst. Coaching.
As a cowboys fan Washington really scares me
14:12 i too think moore will take over if sirianni is fired. moore's smart, i wouldn't mind seeing how he is as a head coach
Sirianni was hired to be Ted Lasso - a “rah-rah” type pseudo-players coach. Work things out in the preseason? Heck no, we’re gonna sit the starters and end up losing marquee players to injury in the first month of conference games anyway. We’re going to play better once we realize we need to grow as human beings. Specialized schemes, playcalling cohesion, team identity, and consistent defensive line play are for suckers. We just need the sunlight and gentle rain of fundamentals like solid tackling, presnap reads, recognition of the blitz, and taking easy first downs with the run game up the gut when we have the lead instead of throwing on 3rd & 3. The team will eventually bloom like the magnificent corpse flower they have been since winning it all in 2017/2018.
I mean they're a dropped pass away from 3-1. After the injuries and traveling to Brazil week 1. I'd say they're in a better situation than 90% of the league.
When you say ‘to be completely honest’ it assumes you could be dishonest, notice professional speakers don’t use that saying
The Eagles should have fired Sirianni in the offseason. He lost the locker room. The players were going through the motions in that playoff game last year. They looked like they didn't even want to be there. Despite being 2-2 and replacing the coordinators, this year seems like a continuation of last year's issues. Sirianni isn't the only problem, but he's the biggest factor. They should have tried to hire the Lions offensive coordinator in the off-season. Belichick might be good if he doesn't bring his clowns with him and hires legit coaches.
11:03 subtle
Am I the only person who thinks Jaden Danial’s looks like Ryder from GTA San Andreas
hot take jim harbaugh is gonna crash out in a few seasons and once his four year suspension from college is up, he'll go crying back. wishagain falls all the way back to their rich rod years and takes him back because that program has zero integrity to it, just like jim
As an Eagles fan. Hurts is part of the problem too. Sirianni is awful and the front office is a joke. We will go 8-9
1:17 for the first time in like 28 years it’s the fact that OJ went to prison for almost 30 years lived a whole diffrent life and died that is how inept the bills are as an Orginization outside this past 5 years.

The real problem with this team is Nick Sirenia, and that defense still doesn’t look the best, and Jalen hurts, has been getting worse this team isint even a top 10 team in this league
Come on i love Harbaugh but honestly a lot of coaches make contenders....he has proven he can win it all once....in college, saying a Rival to an actual NFL Coach tht has proven he can get it done 3 times....while getting a team there 5 times in his career, 4 with KC, 1 with Philly....we give him too much credit
I think Belicheck makes the Bills much better than McDermott

Vikings have a reasonable shot to win the NFCCG
Fire Sirrani and ship Jalen Hurts out of Philly .. We over paid this bum 255 million for mediocre play cut our losses
The Bills are currently over performing and will slump at the later stages of the season. Due to lack of depth and talent
Here's the deal about coaching in the NFL...have to have a great QB or best team outside QB.
Chiefs, bills, Cincy, best QB. Niners and eagles the years they went, best teams. Coaching only matters when the coach sucks...and siriani sucks.
The Eagles are done? They win the next four in a row.

I swear you always downplay the niners
Bro we are ALOT better than the bills 😂no matter who the team is Baltimore when they WANT TO can easily blow anybody out by 20+😂injured players or not buffalo losin by double digits
Vic fangio s scheme and the talent we have does not fit our pass rushers are hand in the dirt get off is where there best so Vic is trying to make sweat and huff stand up LBS which that's not what they are they win from speed I even think Nolan Smith would be good pass rusher if they had there hand in the dirt so basically Vic fangio scheme doesn't work with the players we have . Now the offense Nick needs to give full reign to Kellen Moore because I'm seeing ALOT of nicks high school offensive plays being used with a little motion I mean everyone said it was Brian Johnson we'll look at the commanders and Jalen Daniels so that tells me Nick was the problem
put mike tomlin on the eagles they are making the super bowl nick siranni is a bad coach
They are far from done! They're a dropped pass by Saquon from being 3-1 (he makes that catch 99/100). It's still early in the season and they've got brand new offensive coordinator and defensive coordinator so growing pains should be expected. There best WR (AJ Brown)has missed past 2 games and last game didn't have EITHER starting WR with Smitty being out as well. Not to mention there best O-linenman RT Lane Johnson didn't play last game. The bye came at the perfect time for my Birds. If Hurts can stop turning the ball over the Eagles can BEAT ANYONE!!! So I am very confident that Philly will get it together and dominate the rest of the season!!!! GO BIRDS!!!🦅🦅🦅🦅
Nah we look sloppy like the end of last year. With all the talent we have we should be blowing teams out or at least have a comfortable lead.
