The one thing no one ever says is that Blobnarok has to be connected to the internet every 10 days or else is deactivates and is unusable. If you can stomach technically not having full rights to the thing you bought it's a decent purchase sonically.
wow another Donald Trump hotel bathroom gig like NDSP Rabea sai baba , sorry its not inspiring for me but I can see where your going with this...honestly...I prefer Tonocracy with user ability to add their own skins, imagine that,, adding your own Marshall skin, you design it and use the logo with no trademark issues
Hell, I'd like to see plug-ins with a user interface that doesn't even remotely emulate a classic analog signal chain come out at this point.
Same
Yes! Where is our much needed Cyberpunk Amp? Well the JST Disruptor gets close, but still…
Like a first person shooter where you have to shoot the setting you want?

@@joesmith5617 Taylor reviewed that one when it came out! Good plugin!
If you like the sounds of the plugin and you’re okay with the fact after 10 days of being offline it deactivates on the 11th until you turn your internet back on it then its fine.
I just find this to be a noxious form of digital rights management (drm) that renders “ownership” impossible
with its visual interface, it'll just add burden to the processing of your PC....
I was watching this on a mono speaker and there widner absolutely killed the phase ha ha.
Just got it! Thanks for your review and discount code Taylor!
💪
5:12 inspiration for a new series perhaps? Taylor Thalls
Also are you tuned lower than usual? Me like
No, only when using the pitch shifting. There's like 3 of them in this plugin haha.
@@TaylorDanley still not enough for Thall 😂
The thing I'm actually most curious about is the pitch shifting options because there's a surprising amount of difference between different plugins, both in quality and latency. The best one I've tried so far is the Gojira X.
This one is really good as well, and there are a few different options at various points in the signal chain.
Hello taylor cool video do you think that now in 2024 for a studio use only an axe fx or quad is really a better option that plugins ?
Nice video! I just picked up both of Blob Audio’s amp sims, and I agree with you, there is a lot to like here. They’ve taken a very quirky, very novel approach to the visuals. But it’s not really gimmicky, because they have packed a load of features in here. Refreshingly inspiring to look at and interact with, extremely flexible in terms of amp tones and effects, and all of it comes together to sound really great. I’m a big fan.
Yeah if you aren't bothered by their art direction, there's a ton of stuff to work with in there!
Think it sounds and looks great. Wish more would be fun and intuitive like this. Plus it’s packed with loads of features. Question though… does the Loki amp sound good with guitar to use as bass in a heavy track?
Sounds good. The aesthetics are so not me though and turns me off of it. lol. Whatever though. Mostly just commenting to help the channel. Woop Woop.
Yeah it's a love or hate it sorta vibe lol
Man, I know that Jackson probably plays really well but that uneven color streaking on the fretboard would bother me to no end. I would have to try staining it black. Reminds me of the pale moon ebony fretboards, I don't personally care for the uneven streaks on them. Just my OCD I guess! I don't mind figuring but I like it to be distributed universally across the surface, like zebrawood, bird's eye maple, or macassar ebony has figuring but is pretty evenly across the board.
Il en a rien a foutre de ta vie mec.
@@gsupersport6383 Very true. Everyone likes things differently. I dig Taylor's reviews though, best reviewer on UA-cam IMO and a really cool dude!
To each their own, I like the natural chaos of the wood grain! And yes, it plays AMAZINGLY.
I love that kind of thing.
Norse and Greek are not interchangeable .
*comes here for my daily scripture
*gets told “I don’t know anything about mythology”
*sorta panics inside
🤣 sorry brother
Not worth a 160 bucks....
Why do you keep calling it "Greek" when it's obviously "Norse"?
That thing sounds great and endlessly fun lol. However, if the need-to-be-online/drm thing someone else mentioned in these comments is true... I'd still pass.
