In today's video I share with you step by step how to make banku and four useful tips from Daavi. How to remove bad smell from your dough, how to make lots of banku in a small pot and how to refresh old banku. I hope you enjoy this video and find it useful.

Can raw corn and cassava be grounded together at the same time for banku
Yes, you can add it after you’ve soaked the corn and you are ready to mill it. I hope this helps.

Speak fact and stop assuming banku is ga language so what do u think, akple is ewe, which is slightly different from banku
If I knew the fact, I would have spoken it. I don’t know that’s why I’m speculating. Why don’t you tell us what language banku is?
Akple? - How then do you account for the prefixes of akple? 3w) kple, am) kple etc. I believe akple is umbrella term for all ewe’s swallow. The am) is the corn&cassava dough (what we call banku) and 3w) kple is the maize meal one (the one you are referring to as just akple). That’s my limited knowledge of this staple however I stand corrected by someone knowledgeable.
