- All trains @ Mamaroneck Station between 11:47 AM and 1:26 PM. Due to track work in the area, I was guaranteed lots of horn action here today. Catches include Northeast Regionals, powered by ACS-64 locomotives, the Vermonter, headed by an AEM-7AC unit, Acela Express trains, the engineer's inspection train, powered by 639, and plenty of Metro-North action with both M8 trains (some of which include M8 single cars) and M2/M4/M6 trains. Enjoy the action =)
I'm originally from Larchmont and Rye New York. Since my father's passing 3 years ago at the age of 90. And my parent's married 63 years going home is rare as the house is being renovated to be rented out for my mother's continued Healthcare now in Chelsea Manhattan resident and I love where I live I miss going home as I commuted on Metro North for over 30 years.
15:44 this is an inspection trip train. According to your video of train action at Yonkers, the silver metor was hauling an inspection trip, a comment said.

I know how you feel I grew up in Larchmont. We always went to Mamaroneck gourmet pizza and Sal's pizzeria on Mamaroneck Avenue and then we moved to Rye in 1972 my father just passed away at the age of 92 years ago parents were married 63 years and Mom has dementia so she's being cared for in one of the top three facilities in the area the house is being renovated to be rented out so I can generate continued income for her continued Care I miss going home. So I'm sorry for too much information but I completely relate to how you feel even though I'm a Chelsea Manhattan resident now and going home to Rye or the area is an option but there's no home to go to.

Awww dang, man, I might have been hanging around there that day (every week day I do so for at least an hour, one of the perks of working for my parents right in town), and always miss other train spotters who happen to be around anyways. XD

The horn on the M8 sounds so familiar. The DC locomotives in New Zealand have them as well.
