I started my Brusho set with one color to try last month. I bought 6 more! I now have enough colors which compliment each other to start learning some techniques. I am so glad I ordered more bc my first color was not very useful to me...(Leaf green) It will make a nice brightening mix color now. I opted for earthy shades, Ost. Red with Rose Red and Turquoise if I want to go a different direction. Thanks for this demo. Lovely!
Very nice video. I really liked that you spoke well and clearly. So many people who do videos do not speak to the listener- they tend to mumble so one misses important information. Lovely art work! Well done!
Really nice tutorial. I use Brusho a lot combined with other inks and acrylics. The one thing I would say, so you have more control of where you sprinkle it is, open the lid and put tips of this dry ink on a dry brush. If you gently tap the brush where you want the Brusho to fall you will find you can be much more accurate.
Another great tutorial, thanks! How many wells does your palette have? I don't believe I've ever seen a flower shaped without circular wells. Is it available online? Again, thanks for the wonderful all the great info!
I hadn't heard of brusho until I saw it on a LO on scrapbook.com. Thanks for the video. That looks like a terrific product! How can I order that? Is there a website?
The paints are not too transparent, rather solid. Of course, less paint and more water will make the colors more transparent though. It takes some experimenting to see how far you can go with this product.
Hi Jill, this was not only quite interesting, it was highly interesting learning about this new material. I think I will try to find out wether Brusho is available also here in Germany. Thanks for uploading this video. Kind regards Hans-Joachim
this stuff would be great for creating different backgrounds and splashy pics.great to play with but there is a danger of your work appearing very amatuarish good fun but messy
Alison Harris I have seen some absolutely stunning work using Brusho. It's all about control. Play with it as much as you like. There's so much pigment in those containers, it would take a very long time to run out. Thanks for writing.
well, pooey! I wish I'd seen this before purchasing my watercolor paints. this is much less messy. thanks for the tutorial! I'm getting me some of that! :) btw...I first saw the product itself on arttutor.com ( also had a channel here on UA-cam with great painting tutorials )
Although I think Brusho is lots of fun, I would never substitute them for a good set of watercolor paints. So no pooey. You're fine. Have fun with the Brusho though.
Will do. I definitely give respect to where you're coming from..I should have said.." with the style of watercolor painting I like most " ...I wished I'd seen this first. I love the intentional ' just outside the lines color and splash/loose color style. This product is perfect for that. :)
Brilliant, I’ve been using Brusho but you taught me even more. Thank you. And, you have a soothing voice. Happy painting.

Thank you for a very good lesson and video, I have had a set for a few years and I haven't used it yet, it seemed daunting.
Glad I watched this video about Brusho, looks like a lot of fun to do.
Have got the brusho, best way to find out how to use it!
My instructor just mentioned she's looking into trying this stuff. Looks interesting.
I love it! I can see how much paint you save using those powdered pigments. There are like the Inktense.
Love it, thank you so much! You are funny too! I have 3 colors, and didn't really know how to use. Now I do.

Thanks for sharing what to do with brushos
What’s the difference between this and regular water color

Hi there, very cool stuff, Im eager to try this. Hey what is that little water sprayer called? Where to get one? Looks so portable.
any craft store or on amazon
Do they reconstitute after drying?
How.is the transparency? Colors look very rich.

Amazing! Do you know how much these are? I'm hoping its cheap so I can get new water colors. My water colors is just an old crayola pallet
Sorry for not replying sooner. The basic set is around $25. Considering how much most watercolors are today, I'd say it's a bargain.
