I remember being a junior in high school and crying to this beautiful song at night with my skin covered in goosebumps. Now I'm a junior in college and it still has the same effect, if not stronger. Her voice is timeless and her poetry is angelic and ruthless all at the same time. I commend her talent.

+Kor Savage this isn't the first video of Sarasvati she's done. And I took a lot of college classes in high school so I'm getting my undergraduate degree in 3 years rather than 4. Therefore, even though I'm 2 years out of HS rather than 3, I'm still a junior. I just used the comparison because it meant something to me.
ok, so, for all you who wanna know, sarasvati is a goddess from ancient times who is the embodiment of learning and also art. i call her 'the goddess of flow' whether learning something new or making art/music, we enter into a flow. there is a river also named sarasvati which is where the ancient indian culture originated. people call upon her for blessings when learning new things or partaking in some sort of creative endeavor. the translation of sarasvati actually means 'one who leads you to the knowledge of the self' beautiful eh? if you wanna know anything else bout sanskrit, ask :) i'm studying it ...
when you say, "from ancient times" how ancient do you means? and a goddess? like a goddess from mythology? or something else? also what civilization/people/place create/wrote of her?
a goddess of Hindu mythology, as far how old, could be thousands of years....
@@mystiemoozey she's the deity from the Kriti yuga so not just thousand years old, but six hundred thousand years old and she was the wife Brahma, the creater of the world in our hindu stories...but still it's just stories so who knows
I love that you can really see the emotion that she lets out with every word she sings. Makes me feel like at least some of the music industry cares about the music/lyric aspect of a song not just the profit.
