We used to live on a street that would flood if it rained hard. The neighbors across the street were bikers and would party & one night they got out there fishing poles and kept casting them as cars would go by lol and one caught a car on the bumper and there went his fishing pole lol. It was hilarious me and my dad were watching lol. Keep pushing you guys & have a great week. 👍

First off, you both are doing a terrific job with little Finn...she's in really good hands with you both. Sammi, don't worry about having time to teach Finn, she learns much from you both every moment of her day. At her age she hears well and locks into the rhythms of your words and melodic tones of your voices and learns that kind tones are pleasing. She senses your touches and kisses and skin-to-skin contact and learns that she's safe with you both. Her eyesight will be better in a few weeks, but she can recognize your faces and see your smiles and the kindness in your eyes and learns that she is loved. She can smell the familiar scents of both of you and learns to settle herself down when Mom and Dad are near. And she can taste the foods you give her and learns that if she rejects something she doesn't like she likely won't get it again. Not everything she's learning takes a big effort from you both to teach her, just loving her is reaching all of her senses. Sammie, you are so right about children needing structure! People these days don't realize that to often. It will help her with so many things, as she grows. A consistent bed time, meal time, bath time, etc... All of that is part of structure. You guys are doing a great job with Finn!

Sammie, yes structure and doing things at certain times are important for a child to learn. But, yours and Tucker's work ethics are something she will learn from also. A lot of young children don't get to see that sort of dedication to work anymore. So you are doing just fine in setting up her ways of learning. Tucker, don't worry about the flooding comments. Whoever said that was probably meaning the parts of Kentucky that got flooded pretty severely. Houses were washed away and lives were lost, but there will always be haters that have to complain about the littlest things; so ignore the haters. They just need to just chill out and realize that everything in this world is not about their situations and are just about what is being filmed. There has been a lot of flooding in Kentucky and other places across the USA and even over seas as well , lots of people lost everything and people were killed . It’s sad and I’m praying for all those people . We know you meant no harm and that was a lot of water in your street .

Motherhood is exhausting Sammi but you’re doing great! It gets easier when you figure out what works for you. I’ve never been one to tell you what you should do cuz I’m not living your life. This suggestion is what I learned and I’m sure a lot of moms would agree with me. When Finn takes a nap, nap with her. I don’t care if she takes 10 during the course of a day. Especially if you’re home all day sometime. That way when she’s awake, you’ll be just as awake as she is and not looking at her with one eye open. Just a suggestion. I think you’re doing great so far and it gets better with time. If you ever have any questions that I can answer for you, hit me up. God bless you three!💕
I just got done watching your latest video here and wanted to pop on here real quick to leave a comment. I know you've been kind of surprised people like videos like this or even worrying about videos like this where it's just you sharing a collection of random things. I for one am really enjoying these new types of videos and I even hate to call them new because I feel like you've done similar videos in the past. I realize as a creator you feel almost an obligation to entertain your viewers and with many UA-camrs they seem to feel it's always got to be something really amazing. Maybe this comes from the fact that it's probably the really amazing videos that get the most views and obviously those are the ones that make the most money for your channel/business. The way I see it is that the really amazing or creative videos are most for drawing in new subscribers. Once they become a subscriber and get to know you though I feel it's you they're tuning in to see because they've developed a connection or feel they have and at that point virtually anything can be cool content. Especially with you guys because you tried to keep it interesting and throw in little bits where you give your personal thoughts and you guys are such an interesting couple that these videos work as well for entertainment as anything else, at least in my opinion. So just keep on doing what you're doing, we know it won't always be like this and you'll try to get other cool, amazing content in there when you can. Honestly I think a majority of your viewers would be happy with a long video focusing just on Finley and your Fur babies. Also I wanted to throw in a thought on what you talked about at the end with someone criticizing you for making a "political" video. Unfortunately in the past few years there's become so much drama and politics in social media that I think a lot of people have gotten trained to see everything thru that kind of lens and they almost do it reflexively. So it's gotten to the point where you almost have to just ignore it like you have to ignore negativity. You'll tie yourself up in knots if you start worrying about every time someone sees things as political. Now with regards to flooding I'm not sure what that person was talking about as your video was long enough after any major story in the news that it was just silly to think you were mocking a more serious event. There is however a possible different angle they could have meant it in how these sorts of unusual weather events are all a part of how the climate and weather patterns are changing and theses sorts of things will happen more frequently so people better start developing a thicker skin and not get so easily offended. Not talking about them isn't going to just make it go away. Plus this is a serious concern for you guys too, maybe not as bad as more tragic floods but a few more feet and you have major problems affecting your home and your family's health, in fact you've covered that in the past if I remember correctly. So don't worry, those who know you understand you're just trying to make the best out of a bad situation but deep down you take these things as seriously as anyone else, maybe even more serious then some.
Hey doll don’t stress to much, I’ve had and raised 5 and the best device I ever got was from my mom she said a baby comes into your life not vice versa and they become part of your life. Structure comes in lots of forms and I’m sure you both will do a great job loving her, keeping her safe and she will love your lifestyle. I LOVED Sammy J's one on one time w the camera! That was great. As a new mom you are having so many interesting thoughts that u will get to look back on. Someone commented about your 'mom' jeans (in a nice way) and i didnt even see them that way lol. High waisted jeans are so on point and w the crop top, omg u have the cutest fashion! U are def an UNINTENTIONAL INFLUENCER! W a newborn, nonethe less, my god, we get to see how a woman supported in life by a partner and family gets to experience motherhood, god bless both of u guys, great work. Also i can relate to working 24/7 and i thought that was really deep how u pointed that out Sammy J, i never heard a youtuber talk about that, super cool to hear that perspective and i get the struggle.
Jesus... someones always got something to say about what or how other people are doing things or living their lives...smh... people always trying to start some stuff... I swear humans just literally thrive off of drama..it's sickening 💯 live and let live for real. It's clear these guys don't have bad or negative motive in ANYTHING that they do or post or share with us, IMO! Even if they did know about a flood tragedy going on somewhere else, doesn't mean it's wrong for them to make a video of THEIR flooding in whatever way they wanted to..a situation that they were truly going thru at their own home with their new baby girl..some people don't like to be overly dramatic or Debbie Downers about stuff because it can often instill more fear in other people who may be struggling with the circumstances in the 1st place, and Tucker and Sammi J have always been light-hearted and playful and positive in nature in the content they share..if you wanted a more serious breakdown or details of a bigger flooding scenario anywhere else in the U.S. I'd suggest maybe turning to the actual news or news websites etc etc because this is THEIR channel and they aren't obligated to report on ANYTHING at all..even if it was the biggest breaking news story of all time, they still hold no obligation to do anything at all.. So anyway, thanks for sharing all the content that y'all do for us!! I really really enjoy it, and enjoy y'all's vibe and energy as well. It helps me when I'm struggling with being too serious, or negative, or just feeling down and out.. Keep up the great work💕 P.S. Finley Magic is awesome and cuter than a bug in a rug..and you two are AMAZING parents, radiating love and pride for her... I would like to gently give you guys permission to give yourselves breaks from time to time. It will actually help encourage her to be ok with certain scenarios, and not feel the need to be in ur arms to be ok or to sleep etc etc..you def deserve it, and she will catch on very quickly, and be happy as a clam with it all..so long as she is fed and changed and warm and safe..it's ok to let her fuss a bit while you take some time or before picking her up, for example if y'all are trying to do something close by (vaccumed, eat, brush teeth etc etc)..my friend gave me this permission with my second child and I'm so grateful I finally gave in and took the advice! He ended being soo much more lax and chill in situations and whatnot then our 1st, because we didn't hold him all the time like before and he self soothed alot easier without fussing for no reason and all that.. I promise it doesn't have anything to do with bein a good parent.. actually it ends up being better off for parents and baby, now, and in the long run, for real...and you DO deserve it! She's got ya wrapped around her lil pinky already and knows that if she fusses, that ya will pick her up, and it just easily turns into a vicious cycle resulting in no time to even do simple stuff like brush your teeth...and, it can take quite a toll, quite quickly, if ya don't nip it in the bud and help her realize that she will like it and will be just as happy sitting in a swing or bouncy seat, or having tummy time on a floor mat, or hanging out outside etc, depending on what y'all are up to that day and time, so long as her needs have all been met 1st, and she is close-by in the same room or area as you, and can see or hear you speak to her, she will end up loving her lil bouts of indepence(and soo will y'all 😉)..and it may be hard for y'all for a couple days till she realizes it's really all ok and you are still there, but the payoff is incredible..and, as parents, we just gotta take care of ourselves too..cuz if Mama/Dada aren't happy or ok, then nobody can be happy or ok.💯 Take care of you.. for you and for her❤️Raising humans is such a wild, yet incredibly rewarding journey and I'm so happy for you guys!!! It's been soo awesome watching this amazing time in your lives happening in real time and I'm so grateful and proud and soo stoked for yas all, including the chickens💕💕💕 Sending all my love and positive vibes..
