- นักศึกษาหนุ่มไฟแรง ไรอัน (กัน อรรถพันธ์) ได้เข้ามาฝึกงานในตำแหน่งผู้ช่วยผู้กำกับ และได้เจอกับพี่เจน (ออฟ จุมพล) ผู้ช่วยผู้กำกับที่กลับทำให้คนไฟแรงอย่างไรอันหมดไฟได้ ซึ่งความทุกข์ในการฝึกงานของไรอันถูกระบายให้กับเพื่อนๆ นักศึกษาฝึกงานของปีนี้ที่มี บะหมี่ (พิพลอย กัญญรัตน์) ฝ่าย AE และเต้ (ซี ทวินันท์) ฝ่ายตัดต่อ คู่รักที่เลือกมาฝึกงานที่นี่เพราะอยากอยู่ด้วยกัน ป๋า (ปูน มิตรภักดี) ฝ่ายอาร์ต และ พาย (วิว เบญญาภา) ฝ่ายโปรดักชั่น แต่แล้วเมื่อไรอันได้ลองฝึกงานไปเรื่อยๆ กลับพบว่าพี่เจนก็เป็นคนใจดีกว่าที่คนอื่นคิดจนในบางครั้งไรอันเองก็เผลอใจเต้นไปด้วย และเกิดเป้าหมายคือจะต้องชนะใจพี่เจนให้ได้ ! ในการฝึกงานครั้งนี้จะเติมเต็มประสบการณ์การทำงาน หรือประสบการณ์หัวใจ ติดตามได้ใน “The Trainee ฝึกงานเทอมนี้ รักพี่ได้มั้ย”

You know what, Ryan is actually the perfect match for Jane. Looking back now, Jane was just so misunderstood. He's smart, professional, and actually a warm person. But he just couldn't communicate well enough. And Ryan on the other hand is the type of person who took his part as a listener, so he tends to understand others well plus he's naturally kind hearted. I think that's why his feelings developing for Jane is also as natural as their relationship progressed. They help each other grow in the area they lacked of, and that's so beautiful to look forward to!
Ryan is also the only one who keep asking for clarification and confirmation, making sure he understands what Jane tells him.
So it's not just that he's a good listener.
He's an active listener, and actually tries to understand the people who talk to him.
I totally agree to this ! Ryan is extremely socially awkward but also very emotionally intelligent ! So he was quick to notice that Jane wasn’t at all what everyone thought… despite his awkwardness he likes to clear up things and fully understand them. Jane on the other hand is a workaholic who doesn’t give himself the time to clear things up with his colleagues… they really are perfect for each other ;-;

But in all honesty, it truly feels like The Trainee got the most realistic characters and plot of all time. Everything wrapped in a beautiful story telling and hilarious comedy. Only 5 episodes through and it still the best series of 2024 for me

I really like this series! I like everything in general, the plot, all the characters, the reality aspect of some issues or struggles, and especially the mentors! They are all really great and teach and advice well. Especially Judy! She has the patience to explain everything and why it is better doing this than sth else. I can see already that all the interns will grow and learn a lot by working in this company! 🥰 Actually I would've watched this series even if it wasn't a BL, sometimes I even forget it is one 😂

I know the Tae/Ba-Mhee relationship is going to hit trouble, going from the series trailer, but they were very cute in this episode. I like that they showed that he really does return her feelings, even though he's quieter about it. He's seemed uncomfortable with her clingyness before, and much more interested in his work than his girlfriend, so I was thinking they weren't a well-matched pair, but this episode showed that he really does like and care about her a lot, and thinks about her and wants to talk to her when she's not there. If they break up, I hope they can remain good friends.
