I absolutely love these videos!! ❤ Also, I say “car-mel” like you said you originally pronounced it. “Care-a-Mel” just sounds weird to me. 😂😅 As long as people understand what you’re saying, I say pronounce it however you like!
Watching this reminds me of my own Disney adventures. It’s incredible how there’s always something new to discover. Good tasting Food is always welcome here!
Pronouciation: Carmel: Kar-muhl: the way you grew up saying it Caramel: Car-a-mell- the fancy way it depends on how it is spelled! From a girl who’s from a town called Carmel
couple years ago, we got the campfire cupcake from wilderness Lodge, I took it home and kind of forgot about it. Maybe five days later I saw it in the fridge and I ate it and it was still moist! I don’t know how they did it because normally chocolate is pretty dry, but this was phenomenal.
Zebra Dome Con - during our last trip to WDW, we stayed at AKL jambo house for 10 nights, and not only did I realize I do not like zebra domes, I also learned that I do not like to eat at Mara 😲. We would have to take the little bus to Sanaa for my mobile order bread service. Out of respect for the Queen Mother AJ, I tried to eat them several times, but I can’t get past the soft, squishy texture.
It varies. I’ve always said “car-mel” when I’m talking about the coated popcorn, but “cara-mel” when I’m talking about the candies, lattes, or apples. 🤷🏻♀️
😆 that’s funny, I was like what’s a hush puppy? We call them corn fritters where I’m from… so, with that being said, I say Caramel 😆 I think it depends on were you may be from, but maybe that’s only a hush puppy thing. Love your videos. ✨✨✨
I made a copy cat caramel cookie sandwich because I love the one from Epcot so much lol. They're super sweet but absolutely delicious. And I pronounce it as care-mel
Car A Mel OR Carmel either way is fine and delicious, BUT Karamell Kuche (Carmel Kitchen) in Germany needs to get some gluten free options!!!!!!!!! We went there and they did not have any options for people with allergies at all............LOL
I said the same way I said to I don’t know why people get so bothered by it say the way you want people will get used to it and people still love each channel
The PB&J croissant at Pop Century is actually really gross. The filling inside is cake icing consistency. Imagine biting into a pastry and you get a mouth full of cake icing. I have a sweet tooth but this got two bites before it got tossed in the trash. Save your money.
Both pronunciations of caramel are accepted in America, but I would argue that the way you’ve pronounced it in the past, (cah-ramel, like the a in father), is more in line with how other countries pronounce their version of that word, and *specifically* more true to how it should be pronounced when referring to the shop, or its confections, located in the Germany pavillion, “Karamell (kah) Küche”….. (and as I think I may have mentioned before, Küche should not have a long u/oo sound, but more of almost an ee sound - actually perfect would be to shape your mouth like you’re going to say oo, but say ee instead - because pronounced that way it means what it’s supposed to, which is kitchen).
Is there somewhere where these are in a list with the name of the restaurant and location to reference so I don’t need to watch a full video when I’m there?
People actually called it "wrong" to pronounce words like caramel with a regional accent? I have to wonder what made those commenters so certain that their own, equally regional, accent was the "correct" one.
@@alishajennings2013 And in certain accents, the two are pronounced identically. Which is not wrong any more than it is wrong that "suite" and "sweet" are pronounced identically.
The last time I walked over to the Contemporary to eat at the Contempo Cafe it wasn't allowed. They only served people staying at that resort.. i was staying at another resort. This was a year ago maybe more. Has it changed? Can I now go without staying at that resort?
Staying in art of animation which has been my bucket list resort for years. Your videos always get me excited even though its a year away LOL
Never too early to start planning!
AoA is THE BEST!!! That’s always where we stay!! I hope you have a super great time!!
It's amazing. The decor and colour is so fun to be around. I just hate how expensive it is now. It used to be like a value resort
Car-mel is how I say it too!
I’ve only recently heard it as care-a-mel and people at my work are always divided by it
I absolutely love these videos!! ❤ Also, I say “car-mel” like you said you originally pronounced it. “Care-a-Mel” just sounds weird to me. 😂😅 As long as people understand what you’re saying, I say pronounce it however you like!
I’m from Buffalo too and I also say Car-mel 😆
CAR- mul. Love this video! I'm hungry now. 😂
Team Ke-Ruh-Mel. It’s like when people pronounce ‘Bag’ as ‘Beg’ 🙅♀️
23 days till my 2 week wilderness lodge trip! Cant wait to try these!
I hope you enjoy your trip!! 🎉
Poutine saved my life at Disney Springs when I was starving. It was really good. I love your videos!
Glad you enjoyed the video!
I like the zebra domes just fine, but for me, the majorly wonderful do-not-miss dessert at Boma is the bread pudding with vanilla sauce.
Watching this reminds me of my own Disney adventures. It’s incredible how there’s always something new to discover. Good tasting Food is always welcome here!
i love Disney foods❤🤗

My family and I always pronounce it as Car-Mull.
Me too
Car-a-mel is how I say it but you do you AJ. I follow all your tips and trips so if you say Car-mel, its carmel it is!!!

Car-mul, you nailed it!
You make all this stuff look so good, I love this stuff, headed there Valentines day. Woo Hoo
Cara- Mel ❤😂

I say ca-ra-mel but you do you AJ. Another way to say it is delicious sweet awesomeness 😂
AJ - I am from Rochester and pronounce Caramel EXACTLY like you do!!
😆 that’s funny, I was like what’s a hush puppy? We call them corn fritters where I’m from… so, with that being said, I say Caramel 😆 I think it depends on were you may be from, but maybe that’s only a hush puppy thing. Love your videos. ✨✨✨
2:02 is that a snake on the stairs?
UM.
he knows how good the mac & cheese at Gasparilla Island Grill is
Oh my gosh it totally is--yikes
We saw a little snake in Epcot last year 😂 they’re definitely out and about 🐍🐍🐍
So excited for planning my 2025 trip. 🥰
Yes absolutely in the zebra dome fan club! I say caramel with 3 syllables :)
Car-mel is how I always said it lol
Them cookies look so good!
Northern Californian here… Carmel is a fancy little town near Monterey. Car-a-mel is food, and is delicious!
There is also a Carmel in Indiana near where I went to school.
5:24 Everything is better with aoli!! 🤣 FACTS!!
Can you use your snack credits through the meal plan for all of these?
My husband used to work at the Mara, we both would stick our necks out just for those Zebra Domes! ❤
Went to Florida in November and tried to go to Gideons in Disney Springs. The line was so long that I didn't even try.
I made a copy cat caramel cookie sandwich because I love the one from Epcot so much lol. They're super sweet but absolutely delicious.
And I pronounce it as care-mel
The cheesecake from pop century is well worth it. It’s delicious!
Say what makes you comfortable. They are both correct. I say carmel.
Cre- SOInnnnnttttttt
😂
Another new snack I tried in November is Tiana's Spicy Butter Toffee peanuts. OMG
Is this at the park only or also the hotels as well? Going to be going soon so I need an answer asap pls!
Planning an early November trip to WDW. Cannot wait.
I am from KENMORE NY and just like you, I say caramel the same way .. long live school bread and Tonga toast
The snacks from the 50th anniversary were the best
Car A Mel OR Carmel either way is fine and delicious, BUT Karamell Kuche (Carmel Kitchen) in Germany needs to get some gluten free options!!!!!!!!! We went there and they did not have any options for people with allergies at all............LOL
Car Mel ( you say it right) !!
I didn't know you can get food at different resorts that's cool
Car-mell ( but i have a Boston accent so....not sure if that cancels my opinion 😅)
I said the same way I said to I don’t know why people get so bothered by it say the way you want people will get used to it and people still love each channel

Ca-ra-mel is how I say it; I’m from England. 😊

Another Buffalonian here calling caramel “car-mel!”
Car-a-mel. Unless I'm feeling lazy, then it's car-mel. lol
Looks delicious 🤤 you are right about the zebra domes though, don’t like them! 😭
Fellow Buffalonian here who did not know you are from Buffalo!
Caramel and carmelized are both spelled the way they are supposed to be said.
Is there somewhere where these are in a list with the name of the restaurant and location to reference so I don’t need to watch a full video when I’m there?
I have had the Fuzzy TaunTaun (sp?) 2x, I never felt the numbing sensation. I was sad about it. The drink itself was fine though.
Car-mul
Car-mel
What type of Mickey Mouse cakes on a stick are there? Also can Disney help you to take there food you buy back to country’s like Australia?
Carmel at least that's always how my family said it
CRONCH took me out 🤣
please do a video of snaks included in diney dining plan 2025
Ohio here and we say Carmel. Car-mel.
People actually called it "wrong" to pronounce words like caramel with a regional accent? I have to wonder what made those commenters so certain that their own, equally regional, accent was the "correct" one.
Eh, carmal, caramel, tomato, Yamato. Who cares
caramel is a common noun referring to a sweet treat or color, while Carmel is a proper noun that references one of two geographical locations
@@alishajennings2013 And in certain accents, the two are pronounced identically. Which is not wrong any more than it is wrong that "suite" and "sweet" are pronounced identically.
@keithgoodnight3463 you're bringing neurodivergency to a neurotypical fight. We will never understand why they see a difference 😂
no one asked keith
It's car-mel, no car-a-mel
I say both Carmel and Caramel
Come to the comments to see who noticed the snake at 2:02 😂
"car-a-melle"!
$20 for a piece of cake! Wow that’s insane
Either way you say Caramel, it means the same thing and that's what really matters right? Don't feel weird about how you say it
I have a question do they sell Yasso Bars at Disney World?
anyone know if the fries are a dining plan snack credit?
Go Patriots 😁
Is there a Disney WOld place that serves something with goat cheese at a restaurant?
Apricot crousant at Les Halles, ice cream with bugs you cant pay me to eat that/
CAR-a-Mel
Caramel is pronounced ka-RAY-mool, obviously. 🤣
do not mock the cheeseburger spring rolls, they saved my bumb when i was getting hangry also goofy´s gummy worms are the best
The last time I walked over to the Contemporary to eat at the Contempo Cafe it wasn't allowed. They only served people staying at that resort.. i was staying at another resort. This was a year ago maybe more. Has it changed? Can I now go without staying at that resort?
I went there and ate August 2023 and it was fine. We were staying at PO FQ at that time.
I call it caramel
I love the classic pineapple Dolewhip best!
Car-Mul! Not Care-Uh-Mel lol
Cara uh mel.......there are 2 As in the word. CarAmel.
Say carmel, AJ. Don't assimilate!
Seems like 90% of the “snacks” featured are desserts lol.
It's definitely Carmel lol
Yay
It’s Caramel… the way it’s spelt?!
Caremel
Carmel... It's shorter 😂
Jalapenos just belong in hush puppies. Sorry, AJ, gott disagree with you.
car - mel
Zebra domes are one the most overhyped snacks at Disney. I tried them years ago and they taste like nothing and the texture is just mushy. Hard pass.
caramel is a common noun referring to a sweet treat or color, while Carmel is a proper noun that references one of two geographical locations
Love your channel. But I have no interest in visiting WDW
Carmel, caramel just sounds wrong. By the way, fly out in 6 days for a 9 night stay AllStar Music, with 8 days in the parks. 🎉
CARMEL is correct. People that say caramel probably mispronounce salmon as “SAL-men” instead of the correct “sammin” pronunciation 😂😂
Always love the videos….but whoever films the food lately can settle down on the twist and turning of the food while getting their picture.,🥴
Car-mel
