The scarecrow was soo cute! I think if you paint between his legs and on the sides of his legs black it would make the exposed wood disappear

On the garland, I think it’s a good deal if you use the shapes individually rather than as a garland. You get 6 or 8 medium wood shapes for about $3

I don’t get to Hobby Lobby very often, it is not on my beaten path. But today I was that way. They have a really cute Christmas ornament stack, it was 16 which seemed very fair, but also 40% off, so 12, very reasonable. But I am hesitant to buy because I don’t have much past success with painting decoratively.
