I think, because, he started to love being C-3P0, it made us love him, more. Glad he took the choice to stay with the character from the second movie and keep the personality. ❤️

I finished reading Anthony Daniels' autobiography early this morning and it was a good read. He really was quite a trooper to have weathered BS and frustrations the way he did. Although I'm rather surprised he didn't reference the fact that he voiced Legolas in the Ralph Bakshi animated Lord of the Rings, not even when he mentions meeting Christopher Lee during the filming of Attack of the Clones, which came out the same year as The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers.

Anthony Daniels is an overall great guy! I met him at a Fan Expo in Boston a few years back. I had a (quick) discussion with him and he was very amiable person. I was thrilled to meet him and happy to have added his autograph to my private collection!

I just had the great honor of meeting Mr. Daniels in Indianapolis this past weekend at Indianapolis ComicCon. I got a cool photo with him. He signed my vintage 1978 Kenner large C-3PO action figure, too! A great experience, for sure!

C-3PO might have been the best part of Rise of Skywalker, I liked how he got more screentime there and was made relevant to the plot. While the sequel trilogy certainly had problems, C-3PO was his wonderful self in it and I do think written a lot better and funnier than in the prequels, especially the geonosis bit was terrible.
But I really like C-3PO, he's like the most harmless humanoid robot in cinema. I love how fussy he is and how he worries. It really is a pretty unique take on a robot. He knows fear and is also about proper protocols, being a protocol droid.

The Disney Star Wars trilogy is absolutely dreadful Kathleen Kennedy should be ashamed of what she's done to George's legacy!

Well the prequels were dreadful also. And that was all George Lucas

@@withonelook1985 The Prequel Trilogy is glorious and extremely underrated. We are on the debt of gratitude for George Lucas and his amazing talent.
The sequels and prequels are not comparable. The prequels enhanced and improved the original trilogy, while the sequels brought it down and destroyed it. The sequels are non-canon acts of cultural vandalism.
