Ok, I found it. I'm not crazy. They were scheduled to play with ZZ in LA in 1982 at the Sports Arena and they cancelled....but not due to Phil dying, but because of Scott Gorham's burnout...sorry. They weren't even on tour here, it was a one-off show. I just found it!. God, I love the internet. Cheers!
Thanks to all uploaders I'm finally getting into this great band! I had tickets to see them with ZZ Top, but alas, it wasn't to be, as Phil passed before the scheduled date, and I kinda forgot about them. Foolish me!
I'm a bit fuzzy on the dates. I just checked wiki for ZZ;s tour dates & I'm pretty certain I saw them in March, 1982, cause it was at the Lost Angeles Sports Arena. I could swear that when I bought the ticks they were suppose to be playing w Lizzy or maybe it was Phil solo and then he dropped out for some reason. I guess I remembered wrong, since he was still alive at that time. Maybe I was thinking of not getting to see Zep when Bonham died before the In though the Out Door tour. Bummer that...
I was there. Great live band
