I am starting to receive this ads every three days with no option of disabling them. This is the final straw on the camel back and this is why I am moving to Ubuntu because of this. Microsoft has gone down the toilet.

Microsoft has this bad habit of wanting everyone to use their apps for everything instead of third partys. Problem is Microsoft apps do not offer any where near the options that third partys do. Good example would be microsoft pc manager it doesn't even come close to what the third party pc cleaners/optimizers offer. If microsoft really wants us to use their apps then they are going to have to make them to they offer what third partys apps do or better.

I think pc manager is fine for what it is because it’s built to be lightweight with only the few useful features. I’m sure there are good ones out there but many third party optimisers are quite bloated and often freemium or adware.

@@firestormjupiter Right but if microsoft forced you to have it ( and there has been talk of doing that by microsoft) instead of you choosing from an array of Optimizer/cleaner programs for yourself. It doesn't even have to be cleaning programs it could be any app for example. It's just the fact that microsoft doesn't even try to offer us a real alternative to anything.

@@billyguthrie3176 I've never found that microsoft restricts my choices to a significant extent. Windows is a pretty open OS in terms of choice of applications. The issue is that they're often pretty over-the-top with advertising and pushing their own products, which is why edge, a genuinely good browser, is so hated.
