I have been watching this video ever since I was a little boy. I have been a fan of and always dreamed of riding one of these trains. I just want to thank you Aexpogby for posting memories that will last for years ❤
Dude same thing for me. I used to watch this all the time for hours and hours on end. And even watching it now brings me joy. No matter my age or phase I will always love trains.
Same here. I also remembered watching this ever since I was a child. Even though I’m more of an aviation fan than a train fan, I still like trains and this video just melts my heart as it is an awesome train video to watch, even for those who remember the video to this day
Even after around 8 years (when I first came here) till now, it's still satisfying to see the trains 'fly' across the screen... You made an amazing video, which is even great after watching many times and being on YT for more than 10 years :)
Started watching in 2012 and every now and then I came back here. Still amazes me and the video quality especially for a 2010 video, still amazing till today.
I never forget my first experience with high speed trains. We were driving by car in Belgium at a speed of 130 Km/h. The TGV between Brussels and Paris passed us.... fsssssssst and gone out of sight. Must have been at least 400 Km/h. Awsome!
I first saw this video almost ten years ago and it still freaking impressive.... The Thalys is stunningly gourgous... My favorite. This video reaffirms my dreams of riding on one of these elegant beasts someday. Kuddos, excellent job!!!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Super cool visuals, but please repost this clip without the music. I (and I think I can say we) would like to hear and appreciate the sound of the trains.
Great selection trains The TGV is my favourite I went on it to Euro-disney a few years ago Im hoping to take my son on there next year as he loves the train. But great footage.
Hi Alex, may I steal your sound track for one of my videos please? This is an excellently produced video. Must have taken ages to sync the music and images. TGV+Eurostar explosion with the ICE flung in for fun. Fantastic.
Excellent video! And great music which matches the sensation of speed and greatness of those superb trains! If I may make a gentle correction though, 320 km/h equals 200 mph, kenjryker corrected you too, but no biggie anyway!
TGV next generation TGV RGV 2N2 TGV is the name used by SNCF, the French National Railway Network. TGV is copyrighted by the SNCF. RGV is the name used by Alstom for the TGV, the manufacter of that awsome beast. At least, it is a two levels TGV, TGV Duplex in SNCF language, RGV 2N2 in Alstom language. You can see the TGV RGV 2N2 at an emergency stop with low adherence. 100 to 0 km/h in 20 seconds. watch?v=smSOe0tBotw Have a nice day
Actually your right. There is 32 full speed passing trains, 2 slow moving trains, 6 trains standing at station, and 1 train seen at ride from an other train (at relative speed of ±600km/h).
@aexpogby The new train is called the Velaro D. Another interesting plan is that the Japanese Maglev system will be expanded 124 miles and the Chinese Maglev extended about 200 miles.
@JRSideProject both are good. on Haute-Picardie are more types of trains (Eurostar, all Franch TGVs & Thalys). But Champagne-Ardenne has ICE-3 few times a day & trains pass faster (320km/h), but less train a day. Few weeks ago I hiked along LGV-Est from Champagne-Ardenne & back. It was nice but too hot to enjoy (there is development of new highway near the station. you can walk on it... btw: there is less trains on Sundays...
Impressive indeed! I enjoyed the mingling of TGVs, Eurostars and ICE's. In America a 4-track line would be reserved for freight 23.5 hours of the day. Watching a ten 3 km long freight trains pass by at 80KM/h followed by an Amtrak at 120KM/h is a bit less interesting; its very provincial. I think the USA is waiting for vactrains to become practical before we jump onboard this "high-speed rail" thing....sigh! Anyway,I liked the music as it was mixed with the audio of the flying trains. Tres bon!
Love that whistling sound when they pass through the stations at high speed.
I have been watching this video ever since I was a little boy. I have been a fan of and always dreamed of riding one of these trains. I just want to thank you Aexpogby for posting memories that will last for years ❤
You and me, we are the same
me too man everytime i used to wake up i used to have a bowl of cinnamon toast crunch and turn this exact video on
Dude same thing for me. I used to watch this all the time for hours and hours on end. And even watching it now brings me joy. No matter my age or phase I will always love trains.

Of all the train videos on UA-cam, I keep coming back to this one to watch.
Fast trains + trance music = awesomeness
Even after around 8 years (when I first came here) till now, it's still satisfying to see the trains 'fly' across the screen... You made an amazing video, which is even great after watching many times and being on YT for more than 10 years :)
Four years since I watched it back in November 2010 it is still here. Good.
It's still here, after nearly 11 years
Still here
Almost certainly one of my favourite videos on this site. Music completes it imo.

This video is 10 years old! Good old times!
Started watching in 2012 and every now and then I came back here. Still amazes me and the video quality especially for a 2010 video, still amazing till today.
I´ve been watching this video at least 50 times and I never get tired of beauty of speed :D
My hope is that one of these days we will have high speed rail from Vancouver BC to Seattle Wa to Portland Or
What a treat, fancy having ease of access to that kind of traffic.
This made me remember the first time I saw this video. I was very young. Thanks so much 3:56 perfect timing

Super cool visuals, but please repost this clip without the music. I (and I think I can say we) would like to hear and appreciate the sound of the trains.

Composed very well, and suitable music as always in your videos.
This was probably one of the first 10 UA-cam videos that I watched around 2013
Same x)
0:26 If you close your eyes, it sounds like a Plane flying by
It's the same with the Acela Express and NE Regional HST's in America
Speed Up! True
Magnificent soundtrack composed mainly by Alstom :) . Nice video.
As I suggest for so many other similar channels: don't use the zoom on train's approach, it distorts the train's true speed! (For future reference.)
most amazing video ever
very nice video man...enjoyed it
Amazing High Speed Trains!

@malbert34 ICE-3 trains are on service between Paris-Frankfurt. So they pass on French LGV Est rail line
@gibb1991 I heard that there will be direct Cologne - London ICE-3 train of DB.
do you know about more interesting plans ?
Actually your right.

@ramadurai558 thank you very much. actually the footage is only from two days 3-4 hours each :) the compiling was few hours 4-6...
beauty Beauty Beauty.. I love TGV
@Amtrak1194: Sort of. I'm having trouble finding the pictures. But they look a lot like the ICE3 sets, just a bit "bulkier," if you will.
Now, that's kickin' it.
@JRSideProject

You can't stand on the platform anymore at Haute-Picardie TGV while the trains pass. This is as of May 2014.
2:02 the Duplex at the station ..... thats all TGV train types you captured!
@MrStefanomusic You would be amazed at just how quickly these things can stop.
Awesome!
Is the track shared with Frieght trains or passenger only?
Great video mate.Wanna come to Europe and see this.
It's beautiful what men can create.
