Wow, I didn't realise that the TGV's operating speed was the same as the RECORD for the E5 Shinkansen. Obviously, the new maglev Shinkansen is much faster than that, but I didn't think the difference between the fastest TGV and the fastest Shinkansen would be that big! Goes to show that how good the bullet train service is if it's still revered like it is even though it's far outpaced by the TGV and many newcomers in terms of speed. And the TGV is bloody impressive, to think you can just jump in one and go 320kph.
@@SmokeyBCN that's not a downside, that's a feature. Since the Shinkansen only rides along dedicated tracks, if a high speed line hasn't been built next to where you live, you can't benefit from it. However, the TGV has dedicated lines that then connect to other lines, which means that even provincial towns benefit from high speed service to their doorstep. The bullet train works with the linear geography of Japan, but the TGV adapted the concept to France's much more spread out cities. Oh, and when out of the high speed lines, the TGV still has priority, so isn't slowed down by freight trains.
The TGV has some dedicated high-speed lines, that link with regular train tracks. So just like a car starts in the city and can take the highway, the TGV can start at regular train stations then enter a high speed track, then leave it to go to a city. Once on a high speed track, the train is not slowed down by regular trains
Japan's maglev trains are currently under construction, but construction has been suspended due to environmental concerns raised in some areas. We look forward to resolving the issue and opening the facility as soon as possible.
Man, I love seeing the vehicles pass by, my suggestion though is maybe alternate between the panning camera and a static camera. The constant left to right to left movement of the camera sort of makes this section tough to get through.
I personally believe it was cheated. The Mallard went down a hill, giving it the speed it needed. Meanwhile the PRR T1 were on flat track and we're rumored to go over 140mph.
I've actually seen a PRR GG1 locomotive in person at the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania. It is PRR 49345 aka 'Blackjack'. The reason why this locomotive has such a unusual nickname is that if you were to split her road number into separate digits and add them up (4+9+3+4+5) you would get 21 or "Blackjack" hence the nickname. I also shared this video with my dad since he's into trains. Plus, if these trains were sentient like in "Thomas & Friends", I have a feeling that most of them would take a page out of the Evil Queen's book and ask any mirrors that they may possess "Mirror, mirror, on the wall, who's the fastest of them all?" in their native languages.
working for a long time on a project, for sure will make an impact. Reels and shorts are just quick content which as fast you slide on it, the sooner you will forget

Goes to show that how good the bullet train service is if it's still revered like it is even though it's far outpaced by the TGV and many newcomers in terms of speed. And the TGV is bloody impressive, to think you can just jump in one and go 320kph.
TGV downside is it often shares tracks with slower services whereas shinkansen runs on a dedicated separate network.
Just look at french lgv network map to know which ones are dedicated
And it's own record is in between two maglev train speeds. Achieved in 1990s
Amazing to see Indian trains too, love from India 😘😘😘😘
The first TGV is the old model, it's decades old. First commercial high speed train that figured how to dampen the noise.
I watched Mustard on UA-cam Channel about TGV, too.

Japan's maglev trains are currently under construction, but construction has been suspended due to environmental concerns raised in some areas.
We look forward to resolving the issue and opening the facility as soon as possible.
So you are a part of the project?

TGV trains are impressive. But what's more impressive are your animations
This looks amazing and was really coom to watch as both a railfan and historian. Thanks for putting this together!
Same, as someone who is interested in both history and trains.
I like the foreigners' analyses here.❤
8:15 imagine crashing at that Speed☠️

survivable if you are chuck norris
The sounds, vfx, accurate information, this vid absolutely amazing and we'll demonstrated!
5:11 to end it was just amazing no words !
this vid might start my 2 week railfan phase
update: it did
Man, I love seeing the vehicles pass by, my suggestion though is maybe alternate between the panning camera and a static camera. The constant left to right to left movement of the camera sort of makes this section tough to get through.
I'm absolutely with you there. A very cool video, but the constant movement in the station made me feel quite queasy.
The motion blur and the shutter speed was so correct, wonderful work!
Bad ass! Mach 4 in a train lol
Man your animations are mind blowing 😮
You deserve more subscribers 🎉
Keep going ❤
2:00 Mallard steam locomotive almost 100 years ago, record still hasn't been broken for steam speed.
When Intercity meets Acela 2:15
I personally believe it was cheated. The Mallard went down a hill, giving it the speed it needed. Meanwhile the PRR T1 were on flat track and we're rumored to go over 140mph.
Yeah and you know why. Because steam trains usually don't drive anymore 😂
Exquisite graphics well done
9:48 Ah yes, the famous Mach 4.5 train.
As always, you never disappoint, thank you for the super extra work on the vids that gives them realism
cameraman belike : I'm the fastest 😂😂
That man in episode 3 is a time traveler 💀
But those digits add up to 25🤔
Speed is a creation of God
Refreshing content. In the world of garbage reels, good to see that fun can still exist.
working for a long time on a project, for sure will make an impact. Reels and shorts are just quick content which as fast you slide on it, the sooner you will forget
6:35 believe it or not, i was after a fever and i had a dream like this
Sheldon would love this lol
The French flag is reversed 🇫🇷 (the pole attaches to the blue side) 1:04 and in all subsequent occurrences. Same for Romania 🇷🇴 and the US 🇺🇸. All your flags that aren’t horizontally symmetric have the pole on the wrong side. 🇪🇸 🇨🇳 🇮🇹
Wow. That was intense. Quite the load of epic animations and grafics and speed
I think I can, I think I can, I think I can, I know I can!!!
I have so much respect for all the work you put in! This was incredible! That last part had me going!

9:33 Tracks? Where we’re going, we don’t need tracks!
bravo to your hardwork for making these videos, though the excitement isn't much like the aircraft comparison, but the visuals and animations is actually a lot better, to the point of looking realistic! I enjoyed watching the video, keep up the good work and don't let your passion run out.
Yeah the Mallard! One of my favorite train designs, it just oozes 'art deco' design whilst also being highly functional.
Very nicely done. It's also interesting to consider that folks traveling by train in the early 19th century thought they were "annihilating space and time" by going 25 mph.
You deserve more than a million subs. Your animations are really great and the amount of details put it into it is really impressive.
The animation is better than the video content itself, insane work dude... 💯🔥
