Emi out here training for her Street Fighter arc.
HADOKEN!!!
She got Sakura's stance already 😭
She on that Cammy stuff
Damn I wonder if they teach her how to do an Hadoken
Juri irl
The fact i can see genuine progression in one video says a lot. The coach was both disciplined and encouraging at the same time. Honestly makes me want to learn as well. Keep it up
Fuck all that just look at his ear and it tells it at all he probably also wrestles if some wrestler tries to take him down
yeah he was super great! A really good teacher
Do it, learn! I started not so long ago and I'm loving it! Doing a mix of Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. It's really fun if you find a good place to practice it, with ppl who respect eachother and the learning process

"Stepping on cigarette butt"

Just pretend to be in Asmon's room
Only cruel, bloodthirsty bastards step on bugs 😮
I was waiting for the "Stepping on me"
Emi vs Asmon in a cage.
We will be there.
are both in a cage or just Asmon?
If it isn't in Asmon's attic, then I doubt he will be there :)))))
Asmon's hairline solos
Not a fair fight. Asmon could summon rats to help him
@@MissRoxyful and a Roach Army :P
He is an EXCELLENT BEGINNER COACH ! Holy crap !
You can tell he knows what he’s doing, not overwhelming with information or flexing his own knowledge. God I wish my coach was half as good at teaching. My coach is a decent fighter sure but his teaching ability was ASS. This guy is So Good
it is what it is my brother, teaching and fighting are too different things. As long as you're training with a coach with real fighting background (amateur or pro) I think that's good.
He's a pretty good coach, but I think he should focus on one thing at a time and explain things more thoroughly instead of trying to have her do multiple things at once. Like with her stance for example, he doesn't tell her about how wide her feet should be, so her stance is kind of bladed. And although it is a pretty basic thing, I think he should go over the basic jab and straight without any movement and practice like that for a while so her form can be worked out there and she doesn't get overloaded with too much new information, otherwise she's more likely to forget things. Same thing goes for moving forward, back, and sideways in her stance. I'm not saying he's a bad coach though, I just think she would benefit more from it. Also he might have sped things up a bit for the video so there's that too.
edit: he does go over the bladed thing a bit so that's good, although he should have done it earlier
I concur. It's hard to find a good teacher AND a good fighter. I've met so many masters who are excellent warriors but poor at communication and organization.
I disagree, she wouldve had better form if he would just explain properly why she needs to twist her legs to perform a cross, or why she need to step forward for a jab. Insteading of punching aimlessly for the first 6 minutes
its a good sign how every time i think of something shes doing wrong or could do better the coach says the exact same thing to her, shows hes actually there to teach her and not just make her come back for more lessons
Trust me, theres a reason the mma community in that gym is so huge and poppin.. The mma teachers and pro fighters that teach there are probably the top of the top overall in Texas. Rob did in an insane job in poaching over that mma community, such wholesome and chill vibes. Im excited to see more of this mma arc and the other trainers helping them out.
Also these trainers have so much patience.. She been doing the same mistake the trainer keeps telling her not to do but she hasn't changed her form on the punches and whatnot.. Like jamming her punches and not fully rotating them, or jumping during the motion.
At first she was TikTok steppin while punching.
I was thinking the same thing, good coaching for sure. As I was writing this comment I was thinking he needs to explain kinesiology a bit and he explained to squash the bug with her foot while she threw the punches. My biggest lesson besides self-control and discipline from growing up training in kung fu was utilizing my body as a whole for my movements rather than just the limbs themselves and if you know you know how incredible and powerful that skill is for many things that aren't combating.
@@cliffhamilton2857 100% agree. Once ur able to master full body control movements, not only will it help u in fighting like myself, but just everyday activities and flexibility just improves tremendously and makes doing simple things easier as well. 👍
You can see the awkwardness start to fall away throughout the video. This is a great example of a beginner learning to get comfortable working on the basics. This dude is a good teacher, and Emi is doing a great job listening and applying what she’s being taught. I hope she keeps at it
quality coaching, exactly how you show a first timer. always see people coaching youtubers speed running to lesson 5 for the sake of the video instead of focusing on the basics.
Has it ever occured to you that they might cut the video?
Honestly a great trainer. He spots and points out every mistake whilst staying positive and encouraging. I've had some teachers across a few different styles that could learn from this guy. Great job Emi, I hope you stick with it.
15:00 y does seeing the woman in the back sweeping the floors remind me of those old kung fu movies where the student learns by watching while cleaning the dojo haha
She was learning dust on dust off
“Do it at home, no one is watching” Emiru: lot’s of people watch at home 8:54
I think she said "lots of people to practice on at home". I hope she beats up miz lol
I think she said "Lots of people actually" @@pokey_junior3094
i practice at home its called shadow boxing
@@mysticstrikeforce5957 ......... OR hear me out, practice the drills she is learning at home.
not even what she says lol
its the start of her villian arc isnt it?
I mean, at her size the most she can beat is maybe a middle-schooler, so it has to be.
The training arc has begun, next is her revenge against the middle school kids who insulted her
@@OmniscientlyMe if you think height is everything then you got to be a real keyboard warrior.
That happens after she gets her as beat lol
@@schneideriwnl You think "size" means she's just short? Dude, she's small in every way. And if you don't think size matters, you don't understand why combat sports are separated by weight classes and genders. You'd best learn not to open your mouth when you don't know shit about a topic, lest you continue to prove to the world that you're a fool.
0:50 camera man was sweating bout that camera not focusing
I was gonna say that the introduction into the training room clearly lacked focus.
well one
she need a new camera and a new camera man ......

@@MadCDeeJay lol true
@@MadCDeeJay Bonnie is already good at Jiu Jitsu and pulling guard
i hope emi sticks with this, shes expressed how she feels unsafe at public places due to the negative experiences shes had in the past with stalkers. Hopefully this will help her feel more secure just having the knowledge and confidence to not be defenseless
She should also be strapped but yes!
I mean she's still defenseless against a guy
A martial artist woman could easily take down your average man who has zero training. Doubt shed ever go that far but it's not untrue.
@@ariahrism That's wishful thinking, your average martial artist woman has a better chance, but to take down your average man as a average female martial artist will never be "easy", zero training or not from the man.
@@lordbetty4806 u dnt need to win, just simply not lose until someone else can help u
That was a sick first lesson! Learning these foreign movements always take a few weeks to get comfortable with as a beginner. Harder punches come with familiarity and confidence, not just raw muscle. Incorporating footwork with the jabs is kinda like learning to play piano with both hands; gonna be real weird before they fall into sync, and calling out mistakes every time dials in where you're at.
Truth. I always say boxing is like golf in that technique must come before strength. If you go out golfing trying to kill the ball or get on the mats trying to kill the pad, you'll develop bad habits and mess up. Gotta train the movements first.
Some of these punches Emi's throwing are giving me goosebumps. Nice work, and dude is a great teacher. I'm looking forward to seeing more.
I like how she's literally 30 seconds into learning how to throw a punch and she's already asking how she can hit harder lol....
thats just every person their first time in a boxing gym lol
Power comes from the legs and core rotation. The amount of meatheads I’ve beaten on a punch meter is hilarious and I’m a “slim” guy.
i think that's gonna hold her back because she's too focused on hitting hard instead of speed
@@Joanyan I think she just feels the need to overcompensate. She keeps mentioning how she has no muscle and is skinny. A little improvement of the diet, some weight lifting and I think she'll chill out with the hitting hard thing
@@ligyron2835lats too, need a good foundation for the arm
This series excites me too much, because I have always wanted to see someone who plays darksouls go on to fight in real life
I boxed/ kickboxing for a few years I remember how awkward it feels when you start trying to coordinate your hands with the foot work
Actually dope seeing how coachable she is. As someone who’s trained boxing and Muay Thai for years she definitely has potential if she sticks with it. Not a lot of people pick things up like she did in just their first session. Keep up the good work Emi! 👍🏻
Everyone's gotta start somewhere, good for her, hope she keeps it up!
I love how Emi just naturally starts to bounce like a Street Fighter character
great job Emi, seriously. you showed a lot of greatness if you keep going and practicing. congrats awesome sauce.
The new season hits hard, with the Emi Fighting Arc and Emily Gyat Arc.
proud of you, hope you continue your fighting journey 😊
What a great trainer to have! Lookin forward to seeing how you progress on your new found journey to get into shape and become more capable and functional physically, Good for you Emiru, anything is possible if you put your mind to it and propel yourself into action. Don't give up, you got this!
the bullyru transformation has started
Emmy you should post all of your lessons, so people can train with you! I wanna learn!!

I can see her improving in one video. Cool
Also legit the focus is real! I hope you keep up on this! Think it will be very good for your confidence!
Oh no emi is getting ready to kick chats ass
I'd let her kick my ass.

stop asking her what percentage gay she is
@@Ar1AnX1x What percentage of gay is she
@@zelorig8887She's like 51% gay I'd say eventhough she only dated one woman.
That was a lot of fun to watch, and educational as hell. It made me get up and practice with the same directions. It helped that I made a lot of the same mistakes and could respond to his constant prompts. And this makes a hell of an alternative to touching grass. Hope there's more!
Hi Emi, I've also just started learning how to fight,. It's definitely something that makes you feel more comfortable and in control of your body as well as just safer overall! I particularly like MMA for the safety aspect, just cause of the allroundness (and I love kicking pads LOL)
In terms of that jumping forward and not fully extending the arms: I had the same issue as you! I found what helped was sometimes just reaching my jab hand as far as I could towards the pads (not to hit it but just to see how far away I was) because then I knew if I needed to edge forward a bit or go back. Imagine you're just feeling out the range constantly, you'll see this quite often in professional fights too. You'll see that tentative jab that doesn't always connect but gives the fighter all the information they need to know about how far off they are (or too close!) I think sometimes it's very hard to understand how far we can actually punch and how much power to deliver behind it when we're still beginning. I hope this tip helps and your coach seemed really awesome so I'm sure he'll be able to guide you and overtime everything will just come more naturally.
I really wish you so much luck and happiness learning this new skill! It's pretty epic to feel capable :)
Good for you Emi, really good first sesh listening to your coach, keep it up 🙂
Emi taking her first steps to becoming the women's light weight boxing champ. You go girl!
This content will be really good, o want to watch Emiru getting better. Please continue!
Love seeing streamers starting to train in a sport ive been training in
Interesting approach starting with on tempo strikes. I'd be interested to see his full training regimen for new fighters.
Self defense training and martial arts is very good for mental & physical health. Emiru is a natural, she needs to just keep at it , super proud of her.
I think she just needs motivation to really hit and not just do the move.
Humble beginnings
love to the progress, im excited to see the evolution LETS FUUKING GOOOO
Emi it takes years to get good. It took me about 7 years to get my G1 in Krav Maga. Stick with it don't think of a black belt or anything it's about the journey!
I read somewhere the best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The next best time is now. I was 30 and doubting to do some kind of martial arts. After reading that I just started and now I do Krav maga, BJJ, Judo, Karate.
This is awesome. Keep going :)
Tekken 8 DLC character already?
Yoo emi for tekken 8, what’s next Vtubers 😂
Wait for Tifa and get the inevitable mod/skin.
I’d imagine Emi be on the next Creator Clash since she takes up on boxing
This is so awesome! I'm excited to follow the journey
Practicing self defense basics from any discipline is awesome. That looks like it was a great first session, and I hope you enjoyed it. 😀
😎 looking good. Thanks Mr. Fighter
Good job! Your confidence went up quick!
Love this! Rooting for you Emi!
The coach seems decent. My only gripe is he didn’t tell her not to keep her fists clenched at all times. Anyone who has ever boxed knows you don’t stay tensed or you burn out faster and newbies don’t understand how to “loose fist” unless you tell them
Yeah 100% agreed
Been doing MMA for a while and my god when i finally realised how hard i was tiring myself out by doing that i felt like an idiot because it seems so obvious, but alas no one is born a champion
RJ has the chat in shambles
Finally, been waiting for this and looking forward to this training arc.
Good for Emi.
Keep at it and you will see many improvements. Boxing, kickboxing, ect... is so fun to learn is very good to learn to protect yourself and just feel really good. Cannot wait to see the progress you make.
what a great coach. if you leran to fight imma watch every video
I can already see some hyper aggrssive, diabolical emiru face
Good on you for getting in there. continue for as long as your body lets you and one day it may save your life.
What a great teacher correcting mistakes and celebrating good tech
I'm actually pretty impressed and proud of em. Keep it up girl!!
build muskles
Muscles(particularly bulk)aren't as useful for striking in the conventional sense as many think, however they make a very big difference for grappling. Keep in mind bigger muscles use more energy so there is kind of a sweet spot can play a huge factor in regards to efficiency.
@@cliffhamilton2857so solution is be full on skinny?
@@cliffhamilton2857so be skinny?
@@cliffhamilton2857 Her hits don't have ANY power. I mean she is learning techniq but still none of those punches would even take my eye glasses off as they are so soft. Strength is needed to make hits count but it's not like you need to be muscle god for it. Just need to have some power on body..
@@cliffhamilton2857yes there’s a sweet spot the point of that comment is that she literally has next to no mass, no mass lower power input, = less force on the punches
Emi your doing awesome, i really hope you keep at it, such an oppertunity to get to train with a good trainer like that.
That's awesome EMI!
Will eventually star 🌟 in a netflix live action! 🎥 🎞
Can't wait
Miz teaching her? He got receipts lmao
Nice Emiru!! Gonna now more actively follow this .. I love the box sport so you can do this
This man is so good at teaching, now i wanna learn too
As a heart attack survivor that got into fitness, I'm always glad to see people getting into something. Enjoy working out, and being active. Get those gains!
Sparring is important, but should be approached as another "lesson" or even "serious playing around." I strongly recommend avoiding hard sparring in most cases.
Man you look so young. Glad you survived.
You know, i've had 6 amateur fights (3-3) and Emi has pretty decent technique for a first timer! Flares her elbows out a little on the jabs which telegraphs the punch, and leaving her chin up high, but for a literal first time hitting the pads then that is nothing at all! I'm actually impressed how quickly she's picked it up, and she's not made the common mistake of first timers of bringing their feet together too
Except she has brought her feet together multiple times
@@Billy-ld1im It's literally her first day learning.... That is 100% expected
@@MrBeetsGaming Ok dude I see that but the comment im replying to said she didnt bring her feet together which is wrong and im pointing that out. Do yall just say shit without reading or watching?
Awesome video, keep training & practicing
The reason why its harder to snap your punches isn't because you aren't strong enough, (mostly lol) but because youre too close to your target. A punch is most powerful when it connects at the tip of your range :) Great work keep it up!
Next episode villian exposed?
Bro, fire this cameraman immediately
KEEP GOING I AM EXTREMELY INTERESTED IN SEEING MORE OF YOU BECOMING A FIGHTER
6:24 kudos to the camera man.
I love that "don't get tall" comment he does. The Boxing Stance though...I do capoeira. Just this stepping seems alien to me xD
You did a great job! I really enjoyed this video
Im so proud of her and Emily for doing this. All their fans will see them thrive from exercise, and want to do it too. Its a great example to set.
Thats pretty cool to bring your stream to your training. It shows that you are willing to get out of your comfort zone and being on camera at the same time. Not many people have the guts to. And also if you want you can learn from it when you are training at home
Did kickboxin for about 6 years and these times i felt the most confident in terms of selfdefense and also i was in the best shape of my life. I really hope she sticks to this training, it will have so much benefits. Also the trainier is really good, you can tell by a lot of small things.
Keep going, you're doing great in your MMA journey! 👊💪
Finally a trainer who shows proper form to a new fighter, idk why thats so hard to find for influencers just starting
You made some nice progression in one short lesson Emi. He's a good coach.
She went from punching like that "Belter of a Coffee" meme to having decent technique and form in a short session. Shows the coach can teach a total noobie pretty well
this is so cool!!! learning martial arts is sick
The into to the bunny training arc. It's good to see Emiru active outside.
