What episode is it?
Featherington spin off please
We need one ' Keeping up with the Featheringtons ' spin off.. They are so entertaining
Omg ... I would watch it 😂😂😂😂😂😂
I agree!!😊
Yes, please!
A spin off yes! but with a different name
Yes, yes they are!
I like how Mrs featherington has daughters that marries men who loves them and i think that is pretty sweet
Despite how she herself feels about it 😊
THIS!!!!!! She doesn't believe in love match but both their husbands are obsessed with them.
It is so sweet for reals 😊
All of her daughters married for love.
They tried to marry “men of means” but that didn’t work out for them so they settled for who they could get.
I love the fact that someone else pointed out that Phillipa has been married to Mr Finch for almost two seasons and yet they hadn’t consummated the marriage so it wasn’t legitimate🤣
Indeed 🫣
😂😂😂
Finch is adorable.....not surprised. In this day and age, the man would take the lead for sure.
Hold on, if she's been married to Mr. Finch for 2 SEASONS already... Why does she still live with the other Featheringtons?
@@LAPSEbraunshe doesn't. There is even a scene where she was asking her mom to go over her house because her mom's chef is a better cook. Only Penelope live with her but I think they live really close by.
we always thought Prudence was the dumber of them and then Philippa threw this 😭😭 I was FLOORED LMAO
She's not dumb, lol. They kept women ignorant back then.
@@sidni.d5989 that's of course another thing. you have to look back on some Prudence scenes to see that she has had her moments before that had left Pen "..."
I wouldn't say dumb. I'd say it just makes their love and sweetness all the more pure
Penelope mentions not wanting to live under the rules of either the stupidest or cruelest person she knows (sorry I don't have the exact quote) referring to her sisters if they inherit the Featherington estate by proxy through any potential son. I assumed she meant Phillipa was the stupid one and Prudence the cruel one.
@@squee599 I assumed it in reverse as you ? 😂 mostly since I rewatched all Bridgerton before S3 and there are some scenes where Prudence says the most questionable stuff ever lol and Phillipa just being cruel at her (Pen), but it still seems she has the hang of other things Phillipa doesn't, as evidenced before 💀
Lady Featherington has no one to blame but herself in this situation.
Yup.
I think in those days it was normal for men to visit brothels and so they were expected to know what to do
Why?
@@FolkloreStan-13TSBecause she should tell her daughters about sex before marriage and not hope that it will happen by itself
Well, someone should have certainly talked to Mr. Finch!! 🤣😂
This is why its so important to have the talk.
When a man sees your ankle, his royal aubergine gets to be as large as his foot and that’s when he rams it til the milk comes out
Well let's not forget mamma Bridgerton never told Daphne anything about sex. Daphne had to corner and grill her lady's maid to learn how babies are made😅 kinda odd given mamma had eight children 🤔
"We kiss, and then he makes an odd sound, and then he goes to change his breeches"
OMG LOL
Phillippa's Husband sounds totally enamored with Her, just a kiss from her is enough for him to .... change his breeches.
Man gay
@@nzingahoneyhe obviously messes his breeches from just a kiss. man is definitely not gay
@@nzingahoney If all he needs is a kiss from her to come then I would say the opposite 😂
@@leep7136 straight men like kitty they ain't satisfied with no KISS LOL
I suppose their husbands weren't raking around like the Bridgerton boys

Anthony had an entire concubine in season one
@@djfreem6881 Sienna was an Opera singer - but it doesn't take the practice and experience away from Anthony, lol
At least they won't have STDs. Half the men in thus show would have had one realistically 😂
The best comedy scene in Bridgerton series 3, I never laughed so hard.."insert himself." inserts himself where"?😅😂
me too. i cackled LOL
@@lucianaalves77144 OMG... I'm dying here!
😂😂😂
It’s also her delivery that makes it so perfect 🤣 and her facial expression 😅
This is easily one of the funniest scenes in the whole show. The line delivery was just SO good.
yeahhh, it's like i can feel lady F. pain but its funny. hahaha
I watched it several times. Well done
It really was a great line reading. This scene could have felt uncomfortable or fall flat if she hadn't said the line in such a funny way. Plus Lady Featherington's reaction sold it.
Oh this is only the second scene I've watched in the YTShorts. The one with the other lady describing about her "garden" needs help is far funnier.
@@joan-mariacbrooks the whole show is filled with these types of things. its SO funny beyond the regency uptightedness of it all
Aww Portia's two sons-in-law also needed the talk apparently! Polin, however, seem to be alright without coaching...😂
Penelope reads extensively. The value of education...
And Colin practiced ... extensively 😅
men were allowed to visit brothels to learn whatever they wanted before marriage, so filippas husband not knowing what to do either is so cute because he’s probably the only man in the ton who saved himself for marriage
@@kaylaabendroth1174 I believe "one saves oneself for marriage" when they know what, how and why, and takes an informed decision. But when you don't even know what you don't know, that is just unconsciously incompetence.
Polin is "coaching" just fine ;D
Oh dear Phillipa..! Being so confident in producing the heir and knowing everything about it, until this scene... "Inserts himself?! Inserts himself where?" This is going to be an unforgettable line from season 3 for me.. 😂
😂insert where
That line had me DYING 😂😂
I puked when she asked that😂😂😂😂😂
@@Hisbaby247that's a weird reaction.
@@RockChick63174 Well what seems weird to you isn't to other so let it be
I feel like before you put your children on the marriage market you should give them the birds and bees talk.
Agreed, but Lady Featherington as does other mamas are scared their children gets too promiscuous if they know too much, you know. Even violet bridgerton tried to brush off the talk
@@lucidtofuyeah, such a myth though! “If you talk to your children about sex that means they’ll want to go out & have more of it”. When in reality, kids are going to be curious about sex naturally & will get messages about it from their friends, media, etc. So they better get the right info from their parents if nothing at all!!!
@@lucidtofuwhereas I’m sure she didn’t tell her sons (ie Anthony) about sex yet he was a RAKE anyway 😂
Honestly, She is quite bad at it. A Woman's Pleasure is NOT that subtle, it is quite the opposite. The Girls's Father Baron Archibald Featherington did Not treat her right.
@@shilpavijay7490 Unless her husband was bad at it and she settled for being not satisfied. And then passing it for her children as the norm.
One of my favorites scene, just alone the facial expressions on Lady Featherington's face.
yeah same here, its so genuine. i can feel her pain hahah
Help im still stuck on "Did you two...😉👀" 🤣🤣
"Inserts himself where" has become a saying in my household whenever we need a good laugh 😂 This is the best scene
😂😂😂 A good laugh indeed
😂that's what she said.
In the first season, I thought I wouldn’t like Lady Featherington. Can’t lie, she’s now one of my favorites!!!
She's actually better in the series than she was in the books.
Honestly the featheringtons are the highlight of the show
Meanwhile Penelope's in a carriage learning the right way 😂😂😂
Oh dear!!! 😂😂😂
Penelope also read romance novels so there is that as well lol
@@alee7311 yes but romance novels back then were very different from now. Like in Jane Austen’s books there is barely any hand holding.
@@JennaSandra ah…. Victorian era romance novels were graphic, printed descriptions of every type imaginable. Total raunch. 😂

I laughed so much at this scene. They are the definition of comedic relief!
The zoom in on the reactions makes this scene even more hilarious. You can see the utter confusion and horror in everyone’s eyes 😂
This must be the funniest scene of all seasons.
They're BRILLIANT! I just wish I could see their facial expressions in other cuts. I can't imagine they got this without bursting out laughing in at least a few.
These two are too funny especially when Prudence complains that it messes up her hair 😂😅😅
This part was too funny..then she turns & asks…”must I be punished over and over?”…
😂
Portia was walking that fine line between absolute disbelief and ultimate despair.
C'mon now, ma'am. You did not give them the talk. It's her fault really since she's the one who should be educating her girls, lol.
Yeah, not how it was done in those days.
Lady Bridgerton didn't do much better with Daphne.....
Single greatest comedic scene across 3 seasons. I'm sorry, but this will live forever in my head rent-free 😂
Inserts himself "inserts himself where" my favorite part in the whole conversation
"Why must I be punished over and over" 😂 I cannot. That is going to be my go to line for when life is giving me a smackdown
I'm actually beginning to feel pity for Mrs. Featherington for having to daily put up with such stunning airheads. You can literally see her grasping the last shreds of her patience.
Well in their defense, how will they know except they are taught? Even their husbands don’t know
how are they airheads? You realize there is no internet back then, you can't just look this stuff up or learn it in school. If no one, not even their mother tells them anything how are they supposed to know? Daphne didn't know either in season 1 because no one told her anything.
You wouldn't be any different in this situation...
Surely she as their mother should’ve taught them the basics before their wedding day. Where else are they going to learn it? No one else is going to teach them, it’s literally her responsibility.
@@Rin-ef2tpI don’t think mothers teaching their daughters were common in those days (at least not on the show). Daphne was….for a lack of a better word, blessed to have a husband who visited brothels and knew what he was doing. Therefore, he was able to teach her. It doesn’t seem like Philippa’s husband visited in brothels, therefore he didn’t know how to teach her.
They really need Lady Danberry to draw her graphic illustrations
This is maybe the funniest scene of the entire show 😂
"His breeches remain on?"
"Of course!"
😂😂😂
This is my favorite scene lol so hilarious. I love the Featherington so much
Violet Bridgerton didn’t do so well either
She was on about basset hounds.
"WHY MUST I BE PUNISHED OVER AND OVER"
This had me SCREAMING 🤣
rightttt
Omg i have a question please ! What does the mom mean by that exactly ?
@@SubekaTHIVAKARAN She means nothing ever seems to go right for her. Her daughters are "disappointing" to her, her husband lost all of their money gambling, then had the nerve to be murdered by the bookies he scammed, leaving Portia and her girls penniless, and without a known male heir to the estate, to save them. Then the new lord, who essentially inherited the estate and responsibility for Portia and the daughters, it turns out he is a broke scammer as well. Portia double crossed him, and kept the money he stole from the rest of the ton, had her maid forge a document relinquishing the estate to the first male heir from any of her daughters, and is about to be found out by the lawyer representing the crown. The only thing that can save them from losing everything is for one of the daughters to produce a baby boy before the lawyer takes everything away from them. And one of them doesn't enjoy the baby making, and the other is so clueless she and her husband of 2+ years haven't gotten past heavy petting. So Mama Featherington is feeling like the universe is working against her.
@user-jv7ty9ib7k why are my daughters slow??
“Why must I be punished over and over” 😂😂😂
Nearly stole the show! Absolute gold!
Mrs. Featherington truly tries so hard and falls short😩😩😭😭😭. I luv her optimism and tenacity tho... she's determined to see her daughters thru no matter how painful and frustrating 😂😂...
idc what you think about bridgerton, this scene is gold
She is like "damn, I dropped the ball HARD with that one 🙄"
No, she didn't. Mothers didn't have the talk then.
@bellabunnell3174 I know that but I'm sure she hoped her daughter would figure out the particulars...even a little gossip among friends
@@tntbandit5No, she most likely assumed Mr. Finch would teach Phillipa as it usually goes, but was not the case here.
I kept making a joke watching these episodes, that Penelope might be married and have children before Prudence and Philipa figure it out.
That seems to be the most probable outcome; especially after the carriage scene.
omg same I got the vibe that pen will be the one having the heir 😂
It was foreshadowed twice by penelope. She will be having the first son.
True,I already had this speculation😂😂
Insert himself
Insert himself where 😂😂😂😂😂
This is what happens when she lied about Marina’s condition and the mamas don’t give their daughters a proper sex education 😂😂😂
That's why Daphne was upset with her mother for a moment. She had to ask a servant for clarity 🤦🏽♀️
Simon even found it somewhat amusing how the Mamas keep their daughters in the dark about sex & procreation
Because they're not really allowed to. It's considered scandalous and damning for a woman to talk about sex and pleasure unless she's a sex worker. Courtesy of the Church and all that. Mamas of high society were supposed to teach them the basics of what to do on their wedding night, which was solely to lie there, do what he wants and take it quietly. Women of high society were not supposed to know how babies where made. It could cost them their husbands.
On the other hand, this talk DID help
The fact that I feel bad for Prudence more because Philippa and Mr. Finch actually like each other but Prudence obviously doesn't like her husband much
I know she just likes to prade him around to show others she has a husband. She was still complaining that Jack had left her, like he didn't like you. What's even crazier is her husband worships the ground she walks on.
@@rubyanne4909Perhaps if they have a couple kids together, then maybe she would grow to love Mr. Dankworth.
@garlantyrell6368 I feel like she gets that part from Portia. We don't know much about Portia and her late husbands relationship. It's obvious it wasn't a love match, and she called him my lord. Portia cares about looks and how she stands out in public, Prudence I noticed is the same way.
@@rubyanne4909 Baron Featherington was a terrible man. Quite irresponsible as well.
But there was the scene wherever he pulled her behind a tent (the balloon scene) to cop a feel. She seemed to be warming up to him just fine😅
"why must I be punished over and over" I love Portia 😂
In the end it was Penelope who handled it the best

Hilarious! And I thought nothing could top Queen Charlotte saying to her daughter, “I explained everything to you. I drew you pictures. You are doing it correctly? You are making sure he’s putting it in the right place?” 😂
I think Penelope is the one who takes most after her mom in terms of sarcasm, wit, or jadedness, but her mum doesn’t realise it 😂
🤣😂🤣 Priceless, obviously their husbands didn't have the talk either 😂 all 4 virgins 🙈☝️ " insert himself where ? " line will go down in Bridgerton history forever

It’s usually the other way around :) not that men don’t have great pleasure but women are the ones that express it more.

LMAO this scene had me crying laughing 😂😂😂😂😂😂The Featheringtons do deserve a spin off. Poor Portia was like did I really raise these children? Did they not learn anything from me? LMAO 😂😂😂😂 So proud of Penelope"the wallflower" 🌷fully blossomed 🌺into a beautiful unique flower ready to take on her next chapter in love. ❤❤❤ Love this season.
Her "of course"....…like that's the norm😂😂😂😂😂
Apparently Mr Finch was also in the dark about it since he never took the initiative to teach Philippa either because he didn't know himself! 😂
Also does Prudence not enjoy it because she dislikes her husband or because she's ace? 🤔 I think the latter would be more interesting.
There’s a variety of reasons for not enjoying sex, other than not liking your partner and being ace.
I think inexperience and a lack of communication is more likely for Netflix to green-light as it can show people how to have those discussions. Unfortunately us aro/ace people are always overlooked, ignored, or infantilised - especially in media. Having a genuine aro/ace character in mainstream media would be a HUGE step forward, but highly unlikely now and so suddenly. We’d need younger queers getting into media like this for that to happen, unfortunately.
