I love to see souls being water baptized👏🏾✝️💖. However, grown folk need to stop making their kids get baptize because they want them to. The child has to clearly be able to understand The Trinity, why Christ even came into the world, and have some knowledge of Heaven and Hell. They also must be instructed in the Word of God by mother, father, grandmother, grandfather, uncle, or aunt along with Sunday School and hearing the pastor teach and preach.
Not for nothing ... but that sounds like works salvation. Us Baptists don't believe in works salvation; if someone believes, then "See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized?" Acts 8:36
"But Jesus called them unto him and said, Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for such is the Kingdom of God. Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child in no wise enter therein." Matthew 19: 14 I believe I will stick with the Lord on this one.
So sad that everyone of them got baptized wrong. All they did was get wet by a clueless pastor. Everyone of them has to baptize over in the name of Jesus Christ or Lord Jesus. Not father son holy ghost
I am now 51 years old. I got baptized when I was only 9 years old. That was in November 29th 1978.
Iam 40 years old I got baptized when I was 11 years old this was in April 6 1996
