Gender is associated with sex and sex is a protected characteristic. It's a deliberate conflation influenced by politics. It's also a complete inversion of what gender should be describe as.
for real these people confuse gender and personality. they forget that you can be a feminine man or a masculine woman. or that your aesthetic can be that of a doll, but that doesn’t mean your gender is a doll, you’re still a man or woman.
I remember in the 90’s everyone was walking around saying “I don’t like labels” and now 30 years later it’s all about labels and labelling these people correctly or else you are being “disrespectful”.
I 'member. I still don't like labels for some things but I definitely want a firm definition for woman and man because it is harming innocent people like destroying women's sports, girls attacked in bathrooms by pervs using this as a shield etc.
The rational parents are afraid to speak up and lose rights to their children. Or lose their jobs. That man got in trouble with the law for not showing enough “respect” to a child molester who decided to call himself a woman only after being convicted in order to get an easier or more enjoyable time in prison. You shouldn’t be able to change genders during your conviction period. Not that I think they should change at all, but there should at least be some limits.
u could just pretend its their name, and then only use their name instead of replacing it with pronouns like one useally does; Maybe that makes it easier to respect peoples wishes?

@@pearlboyscasette Unfortunately I actually think a lot of them are autistic. I think a lot of them think the reason they are different is because of gender, rather than autism. The online autistic community is really awful to interact with because of this.

Yup. I have ASD, and it's not some magical dreamland where the concepts of sex and binary gender don't exist. Just something else the kids are invoking to excuse their lunacy.
neopronouns and the like definitely came about during the pandemic because lonely children were desperate for a sense of community, and in that sense I really feel for these people. what I cannot understand are the ADULTS endorsing this, it is horrifying
I don't know if "it" or "they" are noepronouns, but nonbinary people existed for ages. In some ancient culture(don't remember which but It's easy to find) they were considered as the people who see and understand more. Funnily enough as a "neurodivergent individual" I utterly loath that stuff and it makes everything confusing. I had a friend in middle school, we’d gush about boys and play with each other’s hair. Later she identified as lesbian and got a girlfriend. Then the pandemic hit and the first time I saw her again she was “trans masc” or something. Then I see these people crying and "worrying about their safety" because people disagree with them. Needless to say, I don't think I'm as in bad of a place as I thought
Really bad situations, such as wars and direct threats to life, force people to be focused and live in “survival mode.” It's something we can't turn on at will, but many people have it. If you haven't had terrible situations in your life that trigger this mode, it doesn't make you weak
They definitely don‘t know what it means to be in real fear. I often think of all the bad times my grandmother (born in 1923, died in 2019) went through….
I'm autistic (diagnosed) and it's really frustrating for me when these "enby" people use neurodivergency as excuse to they delusions. No, neopronous are not "neurodivergent" thing, it's just they way to get attention. Also yes, being autistic can influence your perception for gender. I, myself, don't really fit into social norms regarding women and feminity, but I'm just tomboy because I like comfort clothes, kinda punk style etc. I just don't feel connection to typical femininity (also it's can be caused that I am teenager), can't understand girls from my class in school but have no problem with have boys as friends. It's normal in being autistic woman and I heard a lot of other girls have similar problems. But because all of this I think that's gender/non-binary bullshit hurts autistic teenage girls. It's telling them they can't be women when they aren't being stereotypically feminine. And l must mention that autism isn't a mental illness... (Also if this comment have any grammar mistakes, I'm sorry, English isn't my first language).
Not to down-play the plight of autistic teenage girls, but to create a sense of unity: It hurts all of us. Every part of society is being negatively impacted by this behavior. Differently, no doubt, but we're in this together and together, we're stronger than the narcissistic divergents.
I interacted with a girl who was autistic (like, noticeably so, not like, "I'm quirky"), and I remember her expressing that if she had a more womanly figure she wouldn't be as comfortable with being a woman. And it was so strange to hear her get really close to the core of these issues (which for a lot of young women is fear or dislike of the attention that women get). I really feel for these girls who don't seem to understand that being a woman isn't a feeling. That due to being autistic they're going to feel differently than their peers, but that its probably the autism, not their gender that's causing the disconnect.

I think these people are afraid of growing up. They're afraid of responsibility, for themselves and potentially for others. They're afraid of having to fend for themselves. I think they see MEN and WOMEN as scary grown-up things, and by changing the pronouns they think they can escape the realities of adulthood. We live in a world where you can grow up and live your best life, regardless of gender, but that's work, to get where you want. Its easier to curl up in a ball in mum and dad's basement and act like a four year old who thinks its neat to do what the dog does. Here's my hot take as a trans woman who could easily be mistaken for Misha's twin sister. Like...I transitioned because I already know that I wasa woman by the age of 10. Now that i'm 26 i've had a decade+ to sound like a woman, look like a woman, have surgery to feel comfortable in my own womanly body, and I always go to the bathroom with my group of gal-pals. I've done the work to be a mentally stable and secure with my identity. It's not right to say that you're a woman if you haven't put in the HARD work to become one. I see it as a total disgrace when people raise a stink about being misgendered when they aren't putting in the effort to not be mistaken. I get misgendered from time to time, but it never offends me because I don't let their opinions change me. You can't expect other people to read your mind. The reason we transition is to alleviate our gender dysphoria. If you don't have that painful dysphoria then there is just no need to transition, it's a very hard process. Plus being trans is highly, highly rare at like 0.1% probability. There are too many Gen-Z kids claiming to be trans for even a quarter of them being right. Give me 50 years and I'll still be a beautiful trans woman but they will drop the mask after 5.
You say 0.1% of people are trans? I found this statistic interesting because I have a condition that I believe is even rarer. I was born with extra webbing 2 of my toes. According to some sources only 0.04% have it.
One of the issues is that many therapists affirm peoples' gender ideology rather than getting to the root of the issue, and many of the people who do seek therapy actively search for therapists who affirm those assertions. I've seen it happen before with a friend I stopped talking to for similar reasons.
Depending on where a clinician works, a client mad about not having their delusions "affirmed" could get the therapist fired or even lose their licensure. It's "the patients are running the asylum" becoming literal. The Affirmation Model adopted by the various licensing associations was a grave mistake. I'm a "retired" child & adolescent psychotherapist for good reason. The self-harming emo kids didn't threaten your livelihood for expressing a divergent opinion on My Chemical Romance, or for discouraging cutting as a method of coping with psychological distress. Many of my former colleagues almost certainly lose sleep, worried about potential future lawsuits from rightfully aggrieved detransitioners. Good: they _should_ be afraid.

I actually read on the official wikipedia page of what is a neo pronoun and it specifically said tumblr is the source of the earliest form of these so called neo pronouns.
One of my biggest issues with neopronouns is the fact these people think we are supposed to remember their names *and* made up pronouns. It’s not feasible no matter how you try. You’ll be lucky if I remember your name so don’t think I’m gonna even attempt to remember neopronouns. Our brains don’t remember inconsequential bs bc we don’t have to. We know what pronouns to use based on presentation, name, and most importantly their features. We get it right 99% of the time.
For real. the shear narcissm of trying to control how others talk about you. If I meet someone and they have some weird pronoun thing, I just decide to never interact with them since I won't remember it.

And we all know how that goes! Anyway, thank you for posting these videos. Its great to see that not everybody has gone insane, yet. 🤡
ND doesn't naturally make you genderqueer. It might make you not stereotypical, but it doesn't naturally make us queer, dolls, cupcakes or whatever. Social media, though....
People like this scare me as a father of a little girl, like got me scared to let my daughter, go to the restroom alone because you got sick freaks like this out here, one day I'm a male now I'm a female, like come on!!
As an autistic person I think it's very dangerous to have this rhetoric about neurodivergent people. Us autistics especially tend to easily fall into things, be manipulated etc. We (generally females on the spectrum) already struggle enough with identity issues due to masking (hiding) autistic traits so it's actually quite common to go through issues when it comes to identity. Masking is draining for us, leads to depression/anxiety and burnout. I know this was certainly the case for me, identified as "non-binary" and I still do struggle with who I am. I have seen interviews with detransitioners who have also been diagnosed with autism and they were also female as well. They also think autism played a role in their identity issues and falling for the manipulation tactics. But also remember that autistic individuals are different too, not all are the same in their thinking. I'm just speaking about my experience + what I have heard from a few others. Love your videos, Misha. We need more young people like us to speak against all these "woke activists".
Thank you so much for helping to confront this blight. It’s honestly scary to me, seeing so many children and young adults being convinced that they *literally* can be and do anything. No, you cannot claim you are not a male or a female. You don’t get to make that choice any more than you can pick what color your skin is. Even intersex people (who long suffer being used as a weapon and a shield by people who are NOT intersex), nearly always have a dominant expression as to how they biologically present as either male or female. And genetic disorders do not disprove the fact that we are a sexually dimorphic species. To me, it looks like sooooo many young people just can’t come to terms with the fact that they’re just normal people. They crave being special, and unique. They crave being able to set themselves *above* others so they can “educate” us from a position of “moral superiority.” But they aren’t special. Dressing up and acting like a clown, only makes you look like a fool. Instead of learning actual skills or developing actual hobbies, they get clowned up at home, and then spend the day on TikTok or UA-cam or wherever, sanctimoniously trying to police people’s speech and pretending to be special. This is really pathetic behavior. And it serves no one anything. The community they keep claiming to represent is suffering damage because of these people’s behavior. Too many in the mental health field are actively encouraging this behavior under the guise of “validation.” But we do not reinforce schizophrenic behavior. We do not reinforce anorexic behavior. We do not reinforce any other of the litany of conditions. It harms the patient and society as a whole when you validate destructive behavior. The truth is hard, but it’s been the truth for as long as we humans have been humans. The world is not fair. We don’t all get to be gorgeous and brilliant. You don’t get to pick and choose what physical characteristics you are born with. Feelings do not equate to reality. You simply aren’t that important to basically the entire population, and are not entitled to take up more mental energy on behalf of others than frankly, you’re worth. The sooner you accept those truths, the sooner you’ll be happier.
I love your comment. Yeah it’s pretty sad that they make up new pronouns and genders because they want special attention. They want to feel they are superior to others. No one is more special than anybody else. What makes you better than your neighbour or co worker? This stuff only exists on the internet. In real life no one cares much about your private life aside from your best friend. Eventually they will grow up and face reality. Seeing this nonsense reminds me of “not like other girls” and “alt fashion” and aesthetics. It’s made up to make money off kids.
I have a chromosomal intersex condition and was assigned female at birth. I think the biggest problem for me constant body dysphoria and chronic illness which leads to me hating the body I am in. I don’t like neopronouns because they are very disrespectful overall and dismiss the people who are actually suffering outside of identity. I’m okay with the general pronouns of he/him, she/her, they/them and occasionally it. In other languages some words are gendered and others are neutral. Whenever I hear someone using a different pronoun that doesn’t make sense in other languages, that’s when I feel kinda disrespected.
Thats. not. how. it. works. we aren't saying we ARE a doll or cat or piece of pizza. we are saying our gender feels a connection to those things. you might be able to think of it as how a piece of bread is not a piece of toast. they are connected, yes. that doesn't mean bread is toast though.
@@Alex_Fierro2772 I was making a joke. But I am not going to entertain your delusion either. Your attempted analogy fails in concept. Bread IS toast once you toast it. Toast IS bread that has been cooked. Bread doesn't identify itself as toast just because it feels like it. Bread becomes toast when you apply heat to it and then you eat it. It doesn't care what name you call it. Don't try to use mental gymnastics to justify your ridiculous ideas.
@Rachel Wood change "gender" with "aesthetic"/"personality" and their bs will make more sense. Once you realize that "gender" for these folks is a fashion statement or personality traits - you will get why they come up with new once every single damn day.
While biologically gender itself is not a social construct the roles each gender takes in society are a social construct. Just because a woman decides to be the breadwinner and money maker for the family and a man decides to be the homemaker and raise the children and clean the house for the family does not mean they are not still a man and a woman. They will always be a man and a woman just taking on different roles than are traditionally associated with that gender and there's nothing wrong with that.
My neopronouns are His Imperial Majesty/His Royal Highness. I identify as Napeleon, Emperor of the French and Master of Europe. If you don't address me as such, you are not only misgendering me, you are commiting a high treason against the Empire.
I mean, in the past there was something called 'Napoleon delusion', the delusional belief of being Napoleon Bonaparte himself. And people were being actually locked in mental asylums for that. I see no difference between that and the modern gender ideology. So yeah if we are going with the spirit of the time then you are completely valid, my Emperor Napoleon and I'll march under your lead towards Moscow!
It's so messed up that we're forced to play their mental game so their feelings don't get hurt. Well F them, I'm not playing their stupid game. I'm a 41 year old man, don't need some teenybopper who's confused about their gender telling me what to do. I grew up in some of the worst neighborhoods in the city, got into too many street fights, at 41, I'm still not scared to throw some hands.
I agree that these people are super delusional and all the neo pronouns are fuckinf dumb, but where I personally draw the line is when people try to push laws or try to pass bills that would criminalize these people. Like, sure they’re delusional but that doesn’t mean they shouldn’t be able to live like that. Everyone should worry abt themselves and that’s just my opinion.
I’m getting my masters in counseling. I’m worried about having clients like this. I don’t know how I’m going to handle coming to me who are like this .
Holy crap. Good luck with THAT one. If you don't rubber-stamp their delusions as being perfectly normal, you will very likely have your license revoked. This is the one form of mental illness which you will not be *permitted* to cure.
I will 100% respect the preferred pronouns of respectable people. A child predator is not a respectable person. Screw his preferred pronouns. Oh, and I will never use someone's neopronoun. It's just too stupid. I just can't.
Neopronouns are pretty disrespectful. Especially with people who have a chromosomal intersex condition (me). I have a lot of gender dysphoria because of it and so I use pronouns occasionally. I typically go by what I was assigned at birth but sometimes I just feel too uncomfortable with my body.
I would love to get an actual explanation of how these new "genders" differ from personalities in any way.
and the genders don't even come with personalities either. All of these people are variants of the same personality.

Preach it. I’m autistic and gender doesn’t affect me, that’s gender dysphoria
Not to down-play the plight of autistic teenage girls, but to create a sense of unity:
It hurts all of us.

Not all trans people act like this. As an actual trans person, we do not claim these people.
@@meehkehit’s okay man, a lot of us know this there’s a few of these people here who are genuinely very closed minded. Much respect and love to all those who suffer from genuine gender dysphoria
They act like little kids who dress up in costumes and you have to pretend along with them that they're superman or a firefighter or princess Darth Vader...
I feel so sorry for people who actually suffer from dysphoria and/or are trans. And as a diagnosed neurodivergent (autistic) the people using my life and my experience as an excuse for their nonsense delusions is so offensive.
the problem is they've decided to allow "everyone" into their space, including the narcissts who just want to feel special. Why anyone would take nonsense like frog/frogself seriously is beyond me. That has nothing to do with gender or being trans, it's just overgrown children who need attention.
Except the four year old will get bored and stop after a few minutes.
That’s a good point. We all have to grow up and face reality someday. All this neopronoun and xenogender stuff sounds like people who don’t want to face reality and want special treatment. Reality will destroy them.

@@psychegoddessoflight9358 that's what I've heard. I've been saying for years that Poe story "The Method of Doctor Tarr and Professor Fether" was intended as a warning, not an instruction manual. Here we're seeing it play out in real time.

Hi Misha, I love your channel, your intelligence, logic and willingness to call out bullshit. One small piece of constructive criticism: nuerodivergence (ADHD, autism and other forms) is not mental illness per se, although mental health conditions may also present. I am 59, have ADHD (officially diagnosed and being treated) and I am sick of some people jumping on the bandwagon and pretendting they are ADHD and / or autistic, just to be woke and trendy; it gives those of us who genuinely are so a bad name. Keep up the great work, Misha.
You rock Misha. So refreshing to see a nice young woman who is firmly grounded in reality. Not to mention your willingness to adhere to said reality and facts…
i used to be a they/them and when asked what i think of it now, i laugh. it comes from a place of confusion, lack of self love, and most importantly narcissism. i’m so glad i escaped the woke left, just wish i had with all of my body parts still intact.
Kinda strange seeing a former non-binary person say that. Most non-binary people see no flaw in their gender, and they really think it’s real. Good to see someone with sense.
Aww bud I'm so sorry you got surgeries you regret, without trying to sound like a jerk, I feel like that must feel worse than you felt before, knowing you made a mistake like that from falling in with loonies. Neopronouns are one of the stupidest things I’ve ever seen. It reminds me of tumblr cringe.
I actually read on the official wikipedia page of what is a neo pronoun and it specifically said tumblr is the source of the earliest form of these so called neo pronouns.
@Aggressive Apathy Devolve is right, there's no way you can take a look at history and then watch what's happening rn and say it's an improvement.
Even 2006 Tumblr didn't get this cringe. That's saying something.
This is what being terminally online does to a mf.
the word neo comes from the greek new so new made up bs pronouns
Also as a schizophrenic I am DEEPLY angered that these idiots r getting themselves mixed up w us, that's not how schizophrenia works - get educated
I’m a woman and I identify as Pen/is.

Best comment! 🤪
Ze probably get free Adderall for Zer neurodivergency.
If they ever try and arrest you, say that you identify as an embassy and that arresting you would be a violation of international law.
That is all so true!
Most recent studies are showing more then half of kids that are transitioning have autism….. so sad.
Sometimes i think the internet ruined this generation.
It was social media, because in social media they can have an opinion without getting punched in the face
Amen brother!! I'm an atheist but still.
Anything can be a gender - apart from Women? LOL?
I feel attacked Misha, I AM a piece of pizza. And a deep dish one at that.
Thats. not. how. it. works. we aren't saying we ARE a doll or cat or piece of pizza. we are saying our gender feels a connection to those things. you might be able to think of it as how a piece of bread is not a piece of toast. they are connected, yes. that doesn't mean bread is toast though.
@@Alex_Fierro2772 If you think your so-called gender feels a connection to such objects, it proves you are insane.
@Rachel Wood change "gender" with "aesthetic"/"personality" and their bs will make more sense.
Once you realize that "gender" for these folks is a fashion statement or personality traits - you will get why they come up with new once every single damn day.
@Rachel Wood exactly. These lunatics are conflating gender with a whole bunch of other things like personality.
I identify as the disappointment in my Asian family
My neopronouns are His Imperial Majesty/His Royal Highness. I identify as Napeleon, Emperor of the French and Master of Europe. If you don't address me as such, you are not only misgendering me, you are commiting a high treason against the Empire.
Yes your Imperial Majesty 🥴🥴🥴
I mean, in the past there was something called 'Napoleon delusion', the delusional belief of being Napoleon Bonaparte himself. And people were being actually locked in mental asylums for that. I see no difference between that and the modern gender ideology. So yeah if we are going with the spirit of the time then you are completely valid, my Emperor Napoleon and I'll march under your lead towards Moscow!
If I met someone with neopronouns like rat/ratself or xe/xem, I am just not calling them by that. I don't see why people can get arrested for this
(If in US) first amendment violation?
