Question - Do you guys like or dislike the background music I've been using? I've gotten comments on both sides. I honestly don't love any of the music I've used so far (free tracks from the UA-cam studio audio library) but I feel like it helps the video flow somehow. Obviously very new to video production, trying to improve. I'd appreciate more comments about that. Cheers

Thanks for watching and I appreciate the feedback! Yeah if I survive the gong show of these last 2 videos getting WAY more views than I ever thought they would then it would be interesting to do more city gang videos. Definitely better content out there, I started making videos 9 months ago with zero experience - like honestly the UA-cam channel Hood Chronicles is doing way better Canadian gang videos, I can't believe anyone has even watched my little videos lol

Grats on catching the algo now just be consistent for a year and you're on your way to big bag and good social position to do more than tell the stories but actually enact change/mediate/etc. Also be careful, I'm sure the people you cover would rather not be covered for the most part, and you'll have lot's of Police scraping the comments (I even suspect some channels are setup as comment harvesting operations by police). crazy part is, You can spend your whole life only hearing about these gangs and you'll never see them unless you go looking. I've had a couple run ins with "hard" men as a doorman at a club in Regina, They are mostly paper tigers and just like the famous street gangs in LA, there is the "Gang" and then there are all of these small subfactions of that gang that have no dealings, or are rivals of eachother. According to RPS that is.
Haven’t lived in Regina since 2016 but it took no looking at all I could be riding down 3rd ave by rea down to elphinestone and see ns kids and adults along with other little gangs nothing like l.a but considering that they’ll jump you for just being present it’s quite shitty
I appreciate it, thanks for watching and I'm glad you're getting some value out of the videos! I've actually got about 5 or 6 Saskatchewan videos coming up, but not gang related. Definitely a wild variety of content on my channel. Cheers
raised in north central. Good times. Some those gangs been around longer. They fluctuate. Names change. Some gangs are no more. But 2002-2014/15 was my era of being in them streets.
Thanks for watching and I appreciate the feedback! Yeah that's definitely one of the grittier areas of Canada to grow up, spent a lot of time there. Regina has a ton of character and history! Cheers
Thanks for watching and I appreciate the feedback - yeah I didn't really get into that too much, definitely less info on them but I feel I could have taken more time to make this video. I'd like to do a follow up video where I talk about a few things I could have expanded on more. Cheers!

I also posted a follow-up video a few days ago where I corrected some mistakes I made in this video. It is def a safer feeling city. There is crime/gangs active in mj, but it's so miniscule compared to regina/stoon, that it feels like it doesn't exist, it mostly is just petty crime with no gang involvement.
@@acetown2263 they’re mostly homeless, drug addicts that are committing the crime. There’s no established gangs here. I remember back in high school(8 years ago) a family of gang members from a reserve tried to establish themselves here called the black dragons, but a year later the moose jaw police kicked them all out. I can walk the streets anytime any day and feel 100% safe. I mean I grew up here and people try and tell you they’re in a gang and they live in Moose Jaw. 9/10 times they moved here from another bigger city and they’re all by themselves. And they don’t stay long here.

Scorpion Brothers, based in La Loche, Saskatchewan. Crazy Creez are the byproduct of Terror Squad, which is a gang mostly attributed to Darren. However a lot of TS' creation and influence came from the late Virgil Pelltier, who back in the early 1990s created Crazy Crees or Saskatoon boys. TS' power came huge in 2008 after a prison riot and gang fight broke out between them, their ally (Scorpion Brothers) against the Native Syndicate at Saskatchewan penitentiary. The aftermath of that incident caused a shift in prison power leaving Native Syndicate as PCs. Since then, the dominating street gang on the street and in prison is now TS and their loyal allies.
He also forgot to mention the creation of B425 (brothers for life)in the mid 2010’s that were an offshoot of I.P that originated in stoon he forgot to mention that in his Edmonton video,
Thanks for watching and I appreciate feedback - I'm kicking myself because I forgot to mention Scorpion Brothers, they definitely made an impact in SK. I feel I kinda rushed this video honestly and I could have done better. When I made these gang videos I just wanted to cover the basics for those interested in the subject, had absolutely no idea they would get so many views. Thanks for the info, I didn't know some of those other details surrounding the prison conflicts you outlined. I'm going to take more time with future videos to try and get a more comprehensive look at things. Cheers
The hells angels used to go to windsor ontario every year and the windsorstar would completely blow it out of control. In fact in some cases they even stopped some crime from happening.

@user-we6bl7yn1u we were fortunate for sure. It was never a dull moment in North Central. Was extremely lucky nothing happened to us, though I remember our neighbour's car windows got smashed and my buddy owned a 2016 red mustang brand new. Surprised nothing happened to it our whole stay there roughly 2 years. I miss Regina, not really though haha.
I live in North Battleford - The Terror Squad was hyped up a TON when I was in school. From elementary to high school. (I'm 23 now). Back then though, tons of kids claimed to be affiliated just because they thought it was cool. Which lead a lot of the people I grew up with down a very bad route. Lots of the kids I knew are either locked up, dead or still running gang related stuff.
Hey thanks for watching and I appreciate when people take the time to leave feedback - it\s sad how a lot of young people get caught up in all that and then end up dead or behind bars. Cheers
The biggest and most powerful gang is the military. And if they are desperate enough during wartime, then I'm sure they will welcome anyone, criminal record or not

I put in effort when I made the videos but I made errors and I am going to do better. Cheers mate!
North central regina isnt the same since the pandemic. It's chill in comparisson. Maybe the overdoses calmed it down from a theft and vandalism perspective.
Thanks for watching and I appreciate the feedback - glad it's improved recently, I was around there last summer but closer to the warehouse district north of Dewdney (a great area itself) and I didn't wander around the riskiest parts too much. I love Regina overall tho
Thanks for watching and I appreciate the feedback - if I survive the gong show of these 2 gang videos that became surprisingly popular then I'd love to one for BC lol!

Hey thanks for watching and I appreciate when people take the time to comment - I still can't believe anyone is watching my little videos but I'm glad they're providing some value. Cheers mate!
There are definitely a few groups active in Moose Jaw, yes - it's a major hub in the province. But honestly, gang activity is a relatively minor part of life in Saskatchewan and most crime is caused by people who are not in gangs. I just wanted to give a general overview of the topic within the province. Cheers
Thanks for watching! Yeah a lot of people are surprised at the level of gang activity in Saskatchewan, but of course they are really a minor issue overall for the average person minding their own business. Just wanted to highlight the issue. Cheers mate!
I live in Saskatchewan in a pretty isolated area. Nearest city would be North Battleford. There is still some gang activity out here, though it’s never really been dangerous for those of us just living. I do know people in my town who are a part of gangs, they are actually nice people not gonna lie. I imagine they aren’t as friendly in cities seeing as they wouldn’t have to interact with the same 10 people on a daily basis. Out of all the crime that happens in my town I’d say they only commit a third of it, maybe less. The rest of the crime is the result of people being bored or needing money. Most of the time it’s because we’re bored.
Hey thanks for watching and I appreciate you taking the time to leave your feedback - yeah it's definitely true that not everyone in a gang is a bad person, it's complicated. Cheers mate!
You’d be surprised what kinda things people come across here, yet trudumbass thinks the problem is the legal handguns and hunting rifles owned by farmers and hunters💀
Question: Are the Rock Machine in Saskatchewan and how long have they been allied with the Hells? It's been a long time since I paid any attention to this stuff.
Thanks for watching and I appreciate the feedback! You know what I kinda bungled that point honestly - I meant to say the 2 groups haven't had significant conflict in SK in recent times, in stark contrast with their conflicts in Quebec (and elsewhere). That they are basically at peace in SK but not officially allied. I wanted to emphasize the fact that biker activity in the province is very quiet and careful in contrast with the more wild and brazen street gangs. Saying they are allied was not accurate and I'm going to address that mistake in my next video. I could take a lot more time with my videos, I definitely rushed this one a bit. I wrote out the video basics in point form but I made a couple mistakes when I was recording the video and I would like to do a follow-up video where I address those. Cheers
@@strangenorthCheers man. @@strangenorth we in Saskatchewan have much less of a population let alone cities, and a good part of BC and Alberta is created on the population of Saskatchewan people that have moved out of the frigid province& it’s nearly impossible to hide in any western province when you’re from Saskatchewan, especially if you know people… everyone is cousins to someone you know Saskatchewan, smallest city in Canada, with the greatest area.

Like stoon p.a is mostly filled with terror squad go there and you’ll see the tag on damn near every block, haven’t been there or part of that world for a few years so things could’ve changed since then tbh I just know p.a be wild 💀
I work in construction and spent the last 14 months building the new Urgent Care facility that's being set up on the corner of 7th and Albert, right in the middle of north central, more commonly known as The Nations due to the prominent presence of the Native Syndicate. The stories i could tell about the crazy shit I've seen around there when walking to and from my car or stopping for a coffee at the Timmy's across the street. Mostly druggies, beggars, hookers, and crazy beggars that try to turn tricks to buy drugs. Remarkably little violence though. I expected a lot more hassle and issues on that site but it really did seem like the lowest rungs of society knew we were building that hospital for them because they always behaved respectfully towards us.
Hey thanks for watching and I appreciate when people take the time to comment - yeah you raise some fair points, and I certainly didn't want to make it seem like gang activity in Regina is wild and out of control. I just wanted to give a general overview of the topic within the province, but overall Saskatchewan is a pretty peaceful place to live. Cheers mate
So even with all of these gangs in the province, would you still say that Saskatoon and Regina are relatively safe places to live/raise a family in? I was contemplating moving to either Saskatoon or Regina cuz of the house prices, but all of the apparent crime is making me think twice lol.
Thanks for watching - Saskatoon and Regina are both great places to live! I just wanted to highlight the gang topic briefly but crime is not out of control. I personally prefer Saskatoon over Regina, but many others disagree and both cities have lots to offer people. Saskatchewan is a fantastic province overall - I live in Alberta but I visit often. Cheers mate
In Regina, organized crime is primarily in North Central. You generally won't encounter them in other areas unless you go seeking them out (e.g. for drugs or prostitution). Many residents in the more affluent parts of town aren't even familiar with the names of the groups.
Thanks for watching! If I survive the absolute gong show of these videos getting WAY more views than I anticipated, then I would like to do some more city gang videos down the road

Watching from Montreal here. 1813 and 81 are not allies. They battled for 8 years for control of Québec and to my knowledge, remain rivals throughout the world. Unless things have changed recently, I would suggest revisiting and/or researching that point further.
You're right - I really bungled that point. I said that they were allied and that's not accurate. I meant that in Saskatchewan they are at relative peace compared to the significant conflicts they have had elsewhere, especially Quebec. Biker activity is very careful and low key in the prairies generally and I was trying to communicate that. But there are are a lot of things that I would have done differently, and I addressed my mistakes in a follow up video I posted a couple days ago. I am a rookie at all this and I should have taken more time with this video, and I will in the future. Thanks for the feedback, cheers
I'm right outside Saskatoon and grew up there. In the 90s there was only really 2 or 3 aboriginal gangs worth mentioning and you could venture around the city pretty easily then in the rougher neighborhoods. Now not so much....
I appreciate the feedback - definitely seems like it's changed a bit. I love Saskatoon though, one of the best cities in North America in my opinion. Cheers
@strangenorth Hey, no problem! It definitely had some nice qualities but isn't so nice anymore. Hence why I live just outside stoon now. Great video though, I enjoyed it.

you said you have spent some time in north central Regina, if I'm walking through people are going to cause violence out of nowhere? how can I make my self look more respectable and less victimizable when going there? also, should I carry a knife when going to sketchy places, will that even help?.
Hey thanks for watching and I appreciate when people take the time to comment - you know what you'll probably be fine man, random violence is rare but you just have to be careful. I didn't want to give the idea that gangs are a rampant problem in Saskatchewan, I just wanted to highlight the topic. Saskatchewan is very safe overall and actually the majority of crimes are caused by people who are not in gangs. Here are some general tips I'd give you when walking in sketchy areas: wear dark neutral colored clothing, don't use headphones, walk briskly with confidence, always practice vigilant situational awareness (constantly scanning and assessing for risks). As far as carrying a knife, arming oneself isn't a bad idea you just have to act within the law and be very careful and responsible. Martial arts/boxing training is also really good for giving you a sense of self-confidence in risky situations too. Regina is a great city overall man, stay alert and you'll be alright! Cheers mate

Back when I was gang affiliated 6 or so years ago, hustle crew was a small group in Saskatoon. They were a group of about 6 15 year olds, doing small scale drug dealing and stuff, basically playing pretend. I cant say I'm not curious if they've outgrown that and moved into being a "real" gang. Honestly hope not, rather them be doing petty stuff than being given stuff to do by higher ups where they get into real trouble you can't get out of.

Good to see Crime Town included here. Although, high crime rates in the Battlefords are a result of like 20 ppl in the entire city, the so called gang violence is so quiet here that most people never hear of it unless your connected to it, and I'm a Cab Driver

a little bit quiter or mayber a compressor on it
The music could be set lower. For these particular videos about gangs the type of music is great as it really sets the tone
Dump the music. it's distracting at any volume while you are speaking. Makes the video unwatchable for some.

Stay blessed.
crazy part is, You can spend your whole life only hearing about these gangs and you'll never see them unless you go looking. I've had a couple run ins with "hard" men as a doorman at a club in Regina, They are mostly paper tigers and just like the famous street gangs in LA, there is the "Gang" and then there are all of these small subfactions of that gang that have no dealings, or are rivals of eachother. According to RPS that is.
lol, i see all dem gang colors every time i go to any main city like just in the walmart parking out. lol
Haven’t lived in Regina since 2016 but it took no looking at all I could be riding down 3rd ave by rea down to elphinestone and see ns kids and adults along with other little gangs nothing like l.a but considering that they’ll jump you for just being present it’s quite shitty
I see it in my town. It's not obvious daily occurrences but you see some gang members.
Fair point!
They're everywhere in PA. Usually hanging around the 7/11s and Walmart. Losers.
I really enjoy your format and presentation. Looking forward to future videos!

Cheers
Ok. That's cool. I think It's about the evolution of where all the groups came from.@@skatenate7252
Yeah Terror Squad is active in Saskatoon,North Battleford and Prince Albert.
The hells angels used to go to windsor ontario every year and the windsorstar would completely blow it out of control. In fact in some cases they even stopped some crime from happening.
Fair point - biker groups are very complicated and actually provide benefits to society in some ways, and not everyone in a gang is a bad person
I lived in North Central for a couple of years on Athol St. It wasn't all that bad, although I didn't really stick around too long.

Thanks for watching and I appreciate the feedback - yeah it can be alright, a lot of it is how you carry yourself obviously. I love Regina in general!
Cheers

I saw you had a circle on Moose Jaw. Who’s active there? The Angels?
That would be my guess
There are definitely a few groups active in Moose Jaw, yes - it's a major hub in the province. But honestly, gang activity is a relatively minor part of life in Saskatchewan and most crime is caused by people who are not in gangs. I just wanted to give a general overview of the topic within the province. Cheers
@@strangenorthyeah. Most crime I see here is small property theft. People looking to fund some drug use.
Wow lots of gangs in SK! Icould never imagined it!

Hey thanks for watching and I appreciate when people take the time to comment - you know what you'll probably be fine man, random violence is rare but you just have to be careful. I didn't want to give the idea that gangs are a rampant problem in Saskatchewan, I just wanted to highlight the topic.

Basically using a mafia style group structure with traditional roles such as capos and a consigliere, possibly mafia-inspired initiation rituals as well
Interesting, didn't know there was so much out here. I'm in Peg Citys North End. I avoid this stuff as much as I can but good to know about it. Obviously it'll never go away, I'm sure they make in one minute what I make in a month. Don't know why but yt sent me this.
Saw the title and though it was an episode of the trailer park boys 😅
Lol
You skipped all the non-American/non-Canadian gangs.
Have you ever done time in Saskatchewan yourself?
I live in the hood in regina, im white. Houses are cheaper here and the markets so crazy its all we could afford as first time houseowners. I walk my dog every day and have never had an issue. Aslong as you keep your nose out of everyones business you most likely wont have a problem. Not sure if it is always been this way but yeah. Just wanted to share my experience
Hey thanks for watching and I appreciate your feedback - that's a fair point. I kid you not, years ago I actually did door-to-door sales all over Regina, including the full north central area. I had no real problems when I was doing this. And I love Regina overall, visited last summer. Cheers mate!
@@strangenorth was very a interesting video!
Not one mention of the Matheson Warriors
who?
Never heard of them
@@Rebecca-705 you're lucky you havent. meanest street gang in sask
@frsknsld are the a small organization?
@@Rebecca-705 might not be around anymore. it was when i was growing up. im mid 30s now
For some reason I thought a place like Saskatchewan didn't have any crime
Maclean’s did a article on north central way back in 07. Highest crime rate in the country. It’s a lot diff now but those were some wild days
You'd be surprised!
Its a total garbage pit...
I’m looking for a job. Where do I send my resume?
RCMP
Great content, Sir. We need more content creators in our great province and country.
" and NO! Canada we don't ONLY! speak French" #beprosperous4u
Hey thanks for watching and I appreciate you taking the time to comment - glad you got some value out of these videos. Cheers mate!
I grew up in north central Regina and because of the shit that went on there everywhere I’ve lived since is like heaven haha
Yeah it's rough area, I've actually been to that area a bunch - Regina is a neat city though! Cheers
Oh i love your info im sooo to transfer to Saskatchewan actually I hope one day i can meet you
Thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed the video - good luck with your move to Saskatchewan, it's a beautiful province!
North Battleford Sask The tourists paradise Come and visit our fine city just look for the Smoke
Lol! Pretty cool surrounding topography though, with that river valley area and all the hills. Some cool history too. Thanks for watching! Cheers
i used to look down on these members of these gangs...but they were just misguided and seen alot of horrible shit most ppl shouldnt see.. im sure they had and have alot of talent we dont know about, and with time they will become better people.. cuz gang life is not the answer..
Fair point, life is rough and people are just trying to get by really
That is optimistic. I assure you plenty of these guys just have nothing better to do, and often end up in them out of adjacency.
I'm too much of a wussy to join a gang.
You're like "do you need tech support? Then I'm your guy lol
LOL me too I tried to join the mob and they said yeah we'll call you if we need a Lego guy, get lost
@@strangenorth
😆.
I'd still be listening for the phone call.
I did not know they tried to assassinate Mom Boucher with an RPG. He survived so many assassination attempts, only to be killed by cancer.
Thanks for the informative video. 🤜💥🤛
Thanks for watching and I appreciate the feedback - He was pretty legendary guy!
This is scary stuff
Saskatchewan is still very safe overall, I just wanted to touch on the gang issue. Thanks for watching!
Hi. I'm a french guy, from France, and now living since 6 years in Montréal. Im just fed up with big cities. I was looking for moving in Alberta but im afrwid about the brainwashing. I always notice saskatoon, i dont know why but look like a great city, not too small, not to big. House is more cheaper than Qc AB and BC ( even if i Love the nature there). Anyway, i like your channel, very fun to see amd very interesting. I'll move for holidays at saskatoon and Edmonton to see this 2 cities AMD prépare à futur moove. See ya and good job
Hey thanks for watching and I appreciate when people take the time to leave feedback - Saskatoon is honestly one of my favorite cities in North America! Good luck with your move and I appreciate the support, cheers mate!
I suffered 30yrs as a homeowner in the alphabets in saskatoon. I have seen less crime living in my bus in the industrial districts of BC.
Hey thanks for watching and I appreciate when people take the time to comment - yeah that area has some definite issues, and I visit Saskatoon at least once a year and I sometimes even stay in a cheap air bnb in that area. Saskatoon is a fantastic city overall though. Cheers mate
I love Regina. At least there the gangs don’t jump you or rob you for no reason. Obviously every gang has their bad apples but I lived in all the bad areas of Regina and ran into a ton of members and not once sensed an ounce of hostility. In PA and Saskatoon tho where I grew up the most, you get robbed, bear maced and jumped for absolutely nothing. It’s stupid af.
Interesting perspective, I actually spent a lot of time in Regina's north central area and I never had any problems. I didn't want to make it seem like the gangs are out of control, Saskatchewan is a great place overall I just wanted to highlight the issue. Cheers
Gangs! In Saskatchewan!? Wow, who knew? I guess living here in BC, dodging bullets that are flying around everywhere in our gang warfare, I forgot about other places!
Thanks for watching! The prairies definitely have some issues but it's a great area overall. Cheers!
@@strangenorth yeah I’ve driven through on a cross country drive and back; spent only a little time and will definitely do some exploring soon!
@@skatenate7252 haha I was obviously exaggerating! Not ‘fronting’, just exaggerated the fact that we have many shootings in greater Vancouver.
