I really think you are on the right track. You are great at this and have a great attitude to mentor , encourage, and inform others .

It's amazing that you are able to find the positives in these situations. Really hope you find fulfillment in all that you seek. Do you think the second manic/hypomanic episode occurred in part because you were changing medications too?

The manic episodes were actually triggered by meditation, eating healthy, fixing my sleep schedule, and other healthy changes. These changes led to me living a much happier life, which is fine for people without bipolar disorder; the problem for me is that becoming legitimately happier and healthier can trigger mania as mania is so closely linked to features like euphoria, feelings of spiritual well being and peace, and high natural energy.
I think I’ll make some videos in the future about how positive life changes can trigger problems with bipolar disorder.

#BipolarWarrior I'm going through a mixed episode right now. It's terrible.

Martez Jones Hang in there man. I’ve been hit with more manic symptoms lately than I had in a long time. I’m noticing that the amount of sleep I get is almost more powerful than medication sometimes when it comes to controlling mood. I will say though I don’t know much about mixed states other than the basic info.

@@BrandonRohe Yeah Brandon, sleep is what I feel grounds me too. It knocks off some of that mania and sometimes even the depression. I'm with you on that. But I understand the mania thing, especially the giving out large tips thing.

Weird thought maybe- do you think having an accountability partner so to speak.. basically a friend close to you that you trust to check in with when you start noticing signs of a manic time ?
