"I'm here purging some of my personal collection"
...."Let's look for toys!". The eternal struggle - I get it. haha
Your son going for the toy that he just thought looked cool for the spawn toy, and then right after the guy giving him the dinosaur knowing what it feels like to be a kid and how inexpensive it is..super cool. You're a good poppa Pixel Dan. And good on that dude for giving him the gift.
I can’t stop rewinding, replaying and consequently bursting into a fit of laughter over the fact that Dan lets out a ripper fart just before the scene cuts at 1:13 🤣 (Sorry, Dan!)
You can really tell what genuine guy Dan is. I saw him at his booth at Toylanta this year pitching his amazing book but hesitated to approach him due to 900 people overwhelming him at once. Anyway love what your doing Dan. Keep it up
Nothing better than toy shopping
Always enjoy your videos. Warmed the heart to see you and your son enjoying the hunt together. My son is 4 just now so we're not really on the same page yet with toys but he knows Daddy loves them so hopefully he will too.
Seeing you with your kid is great.
This is such a great show I've been going for about 6 years and it's always been a blast! They also have costume contests for kids and adults and even a custom figure contest!
I remember seeing Tigersharks figures in a random store in the mall in the 80's. It was one of those stores where prices were slightly high, so of course my parents refused to buy me another toy. Only time I ever saw those figures in person.
7:54 Dan Larsen WILL find it ...great video and glad y'all had a good time
That was very kind the seller let him keep the dinosaur
I love your excitement with your son. I see a lot of feigned enthusiasm normally, but you are awesome!
Wow! The Mario Bros. ceiling fan really impressed me, especially as it includes Luigi making it more of an '80s oddity as it was back when he was seen as Green Mario. Anything obscure like that with Luigi always fascinates me. Also I like how he has a funny pose and expression like he's trying to look brave. XD
I'm actually moving to Indiana next year so I will be attending the 8th annual... I will be hunt for Ghostbusters and dc figures
This was such an awesome show with so many amazing toys. It was nice to see Nerd Therapy make an appearance. Otherwise, thanks as always Pixel Dan. I really appreciate it!
Sometime you find hidden gems in those smaller convention, sadly i live in Montreal so its very rare that i have the chance to toy hunt in those smaller event.
TIGERSHARKS... GREAT!!
“Nothin like starting my day with a healthy bowl of Dan”
Ya'll look like ya'll had a great time Awesome video!!
It's crazy how the market always fluctuates on most toys, over time, depending on show and region, it's one of the things that as much as it can be a challenge it's also so much fun to just see what kinds of finds and deals can be found at these smaller shows.
I had one of those Droid Cartoon C3P0s. I remember it vividly. The sculpt and color was so cartoon accurate.
Love your show toyhunt videos , some awesome toys there
Great seeing you there man. Hope to see you next year.
10:39 believe it or not, I had this C-3PO as a kid, as well as a few other 'Droids' cartoon toys that were released here in Brazil. Shame I don't have them anymore, specially for being incredibly sought after among Star Wars figures nowadays.
I had no idea the shogun triceraton was worth so much... I'm 99% sure I have one of these missing the same armor too. I had no idea they were rare because I'm fairly certain I remember the Toys R Us near me (Upland California at the time) had a BUNCH of him too.
It must be awesome to hunt toys with your kid. I hope someday doing something similar.

Holy crap Dan!!! $15 for that Dime Novel Legends Bartender?! I would have grabbed that in a second!!! You could have easily sold that for twice as much!

Weird question is there like a site or something where i can get info on when toy/comic expo are... i only know of sdcc an nycc would love to go to others 🤘🏽🤘🏽
I second this. I'd really like a list of shows that are up to a days drive away from me.
$40 with no gun? That's a pass. You made the right call.
Wooow 🤩🤩🤩
I really wanna know did you ever get the last set of the motu minis?

*sniffs and whines* those Mega Construx He-Man sets, they aren’t in Australia
Great video Dan, great seeing little Spencer having great fun toy hunting
Have you've done an update on your toy room?
Was there any sanic stuff?
How much did he say the carded Tiger Shark was? He wasn’t mic’ed and the background noise was too much for me. I played it six times and can’t pick up what he said
Stay Humble thanks for clearing that up.
Do you need a ticket and were is it
It was this past weekend, and yes - you do have to pay admission, but I don't think it's much. It happens once a year. I linked their Facebook page in the description.
It is $5 per ticket. I think they only do pay at the door tickets though.
Thanks
How much is that carded Tiger Sharks figure worth??
The owner said it goes for about the cost of a loose MOTU Eternia playset, which is upwards of $500+!
@@Pixel-dan Cool. Thanks!
Training Spencer to be a collector, eh? He'll have a huge collection to inherit from you for sure!
I remember Tiger Sharks and the rest of the "Comic Strip" cartoon block in the day!
Dan you are such a good dad I love it awesome video congrats on the rare 89 he-man.
What was the price of that TIGERSHARKS??!!!
It wasn't for sale. The guy showing it to me bought it from one of the other dealers there for his personal collection. He wouldn't tell me what he paid, but said that one figure costs about the same as a loose MOTU Eternia - which probably means $500+!
@@Pixel-dan That is a very rare piece! I had never seen her in the form of a toy! Thanks for your videos, they are the best !!! greetings from Ecuador!
i hit the 100 Danny ;D (Love to see you with Spencer)
#pixeldan i tagged you on ig about the street sharks
Do you ever see old or even new LEGO at events like this? I personally collect LEGO.
Sometimes, but not a lot honestly. There's always a booth at SDCC each year that has a bunch of LEGO sets from when I was a kid, but they are always VERY expensive. I don't run into them too much though.
Pixel Dan alright, thanks. Near me there is a shop that sells exclusively new and old LEGO and I enjoy going to him but other than that I don’t find many areas to buy them. I have been finding a lot of old vintage figures and legos at car show/swap meets tho. Nothing like this but for sure enough to start a small collection, I’ve been thinking of doing it but I’m worried I’ll get ripped off not knowing prices.
review the pee wee figures
Other than Retroblasting why are no other male toy channel creators discussing the changes to UA-cam’s kid friendly content & advertising? Won’t these algorithm changes impact what can be posted come the new year...I’m really confused by the lack of comment?
I know all these toy channels for adults could be gone in a few months forever.
Little Spencer is lucky to have a cool dad.... 😎
