Wow these cows are really getting popular!! I never even heard of them until now. But they really are so cute!!! Two different ways is really adorable Sarah. 😂
I want to make these for my very Scots friends. I had searched forever for a pattern with not much luck. So THANK YOU soooo much for this tutorial. I’m way to excited to make them!
Great tutorial very easy to follow, one thing that I missed, and I noticed a lot of the crafters that have posted these , the ears , yes they do have ears right below the horns . Thank you so much ❣️
Awesome video with so many different ways to make them! Everyone has been waiting for this video to come out. Thank you for taking the time to make it. Your fans all appreciate it and your hard work. They are adorable!
Of course, sweetie - I just had to fit it in between some bigger stuff but I'm so glad I made them. I really understand the love everyone has for these cuties. :)
Thank you so much for creating the patterns and this video. I have read numerous comments in various groups from people who were looking for a tutorial on this craft. You have made so many makers happy. Blessings to you Sarah.
Defiantly making these! I sculpt miniatures so I have A LOT of polymer clay and paints, so for anyone looking to save on buying the buttons for the snout or possibly eyes, I'd suggest making them out of clay. Plus they would have the matte finish. Thank you so much for sharing this!
Sarah, oh my goodness, you nailed it 💕 Living here in Scotland, 🐂 "Heilan Coos" (proper Scottish pronunciation), are so popular. Your version of them is so stinking adorable. I love them. Thank you so much for the inspiration and for sharing your pattern 🤗 xo
Hi Sarah it's Jennifer from Florida I'm so glad to see you on here I haven't seen you in so long I miss you those are the most adorable Little guys and gowns I love them I hope you're doing good sweetie thank you for the video it's awesome
@@SarahNenniDaher Hey sweetie no I haven't made anything lately it's been a whirlwind Uber here I had broke my arm in January and then the last few weeks I had a stomach bug that put me in the hospital it was bad it's it is so hot down here in Florida I mean it is just a 100° but I want to I got some of the stuff today when I went to the Dollar Tree and I can't wait to make it they are so damn cute you come up with the best ideas girlfriend I'm really missing you
Sooo cute Sarah! They look so real and two options are great. A farmer close to my sister has some of these cows or at least they look like this and you have definitely “nailed” how they look. Thank you for sharing your awsome talent. Trish from WI
Trish, if I were to see these cuties in person, I'd end up taking one home with me. We can share the bed, ya know? They're too cute! Thank you so much for watching today. :)
Sarah, I could not find the link below for the free pattern. The link keeps taking me to all the other creators that are making other highland cow crafts.
Click on Get the full video link. It will take you to her site. At the bottom will be a print button. You can either print it or save as pdf (my phone does both.) I hope this helps.
I waited so impatiently for your video on these. ANd thank you so much for doing it. It's great. But since I do not have a pool noodles on hand(don't use them much) I made a sock gnome and glued it to a wood round. Covered in fur. I'm not sure how I can add the felt horns to it. Or is the sock version only good for the clay horns?? Please advise. Thanks for all you do to help us green horns. Pun intended. Lol.
You can absolutely use the felt on the sock. I've not used these, but you have two options for a secure, clean join. 1. Glue them onto the body before the fur. Split the fur where they are positioned and guide them through the hole. 2. Put wire into the felt horns (bend over the end at the tip of the horn). Cut off any excess flap to get the right sized horns, glue the opening closed flat with the wire sticking out. Then, press the wire straight down into the pool noodle and bend into place. You'll have to cover the fur join but with a vertical seam, it should not stick out. Again, I've not tried these yet but either of those make the most sense.
Hey Sarah! I finally found the pattern but my computer is old and I can’t print it off in the google format. Is there another way to do this? Thanks Tami
Sure, Tami. Option 1: You can download the file to your computer and print from there. Option 2: Open the file in any image reader, make sure it's set to 100%, and trace from your computer screen. :)
Hi there, Tami, it's at the very bottom of the post. It's the last item in blue and underlined in the supplies list for the pool noodle highland cow. Have fun!

Yes, they do have ears! I think those are pretty easy to add on with the felt - maybe on my next one. :)

Oh my flippin goodness!!!! ❤❤❤❤
Hahah My thoughts, exactly! :)
The cows are so cute, but lady cows don't have horns I don't think. Only the bulls. But they are adorable 😍
All cattle, male and female, have horns except for a few specific breeds. It is not uncommon for farmers to remove horns when they are small.
i dont seem to be able to download the pattern

Hola muy hermosos porfavor podria escribir en español y dar medidas gracias dios bendiga
How do I add the foam horns and snout?
You can glue or wire them - both will work, but wire will have a bit more longevity.
I can’t download the pattern. I’ve tried every link but no pattern
Amazing work.
Where do you get your fur?
I get it on Etsy, Amazon, and in the craft stores. :)
It’s pronounced “hee-land coo” by the Scots !! 😂
Is it? I'm not Scottish and I am SURE I would butcher it if I tried to sound like a Scot. LOL
Aye!
I can’t locate the pattern in the full tutorial.
