My dad and I just picked up a 66 Coupe DeVille two months ago and this is the kind of stuff we’ve been doing with the car along with fixing it up currently we have me carpet on the floors but the seats are there and we still drive the livin hell out of it
I saved this half rusted "piece of history" 9 years and 4 Power Tours ago, and I've driven it over 50,000 miles since then. In that time, I've introduced more people to classic cars and cadillacs at gas stations than most museum pieces. I took every precaution to make sure it was ready for an endeavor like this, and it was. We had a blast and it was back ready for shows a week later.
"*No Cadillacs were harmed in the making of this video. Cruella got cleaned up well and was no worse for the wear.*" Doubt it. You all have seen those used cars that were sold as nice cars to a new owner and were ragged out 6 months later? Yeah.
Well, it cleaned up fine and I've put another 10k miles on it since then, so if there was any harm I don't know what it would've been. I've had the car for almost a decade and rebuilt about everything on it. It was fine.

It does. I hate the trans, but the 390 is rebuilt and cammed up a touch with fitech efi
