    I want to thank you for the recipe, I no longer have to pay $6 for gluten free flour tortillas! I made my first batch yesterday, the first one was on the thick side so I added more water. They came out perfect and delicious!

    You can make these without tapioca flour. Equal amounts of chickpea flour and water. Add spices. Or poppy seeds and honey. Or cinnamon. Or whatever... These are now my replacement for bread, along with home-made lentil bread. No more wheat bread for me.

      @@samuelchan280 - I suggest you try home-made lentil bread instead then. There are loads of youtube videos about that and it's easy.

    Thank you so much for this recipe! I just made it and it was delicious! The trick is to add a lot of water to make sure they are thin. I love the flavor, I can see so much being done with these ingredients. Is it possible to make pita bread with this? Or pancakes, crepes?? Hmmm so many options.

    Thank you so much, I’ve recently been diagnosed with IBS and Celiacs disease so I’ve been struggling with recipes and I’ve already made it and used it for quesadillas which were devine! Can’t wait to try them on chimichangas, enchiladas, burritos, fajitas and see if I can make a thicker version for soft shell tacos 🤩

    Always something special for us all and is REAL food :). Great!. I was thinking about creating chickpea pasta, maybe with potatoes or TAPIOCA flour, you know you could make up a dough roll, roll it out like pasta and heat it, I challenge anyone to make chickpea pasta, I bet you it can be done...GREAT recipe and thank you!.

    Just made them, yours look a lot more like an actual tortilla, but mine didn't come out too bad, especially after I thinned out the batter with a bit more water. They started looking more like tortillas than pita breads.

    Hi thanks for the video. After mixing the ingredients using your measurements I found the mixture too thick. In the video the texture was runny. So I had to more water to achieve that texture. More than a cup.

    I'm very busy. No time during the week for cooking, so I batch cook all my meals on the weekends and freeze them. Does anyone know if these freeze well and how long do they last in the fridge?

    Tried it myself. Super easy and works perfectly. You can still easily roll them without them crumbling apart. I also didnt expect to like the taste so much :DDDDDDD

    My husband is on a low gluten diet, mainly because he has more energy when he doesn't eat a lot of gluten. We eat a lot of foods that use tortillas, but corn upsets my youngest child's stomach. So we are going to give this a try!

    this is by far the best gf wrap recipe, do they store and reheat well? I am thinking to make a batch and store them in the fridge and then use them throughout the week.

      I did quesadillas and they are the good after reheating from the fridge. Can’t agree more- I found this the best GF recipe too.

      So glad you like them! I recommend stacking them on a plate and putting some wax paper between the wraps, so they don't stick together. You can store them in the fridge for up to 3 days, wrapped in plastic wrap. The tortillas dry out a bit in the fridge, but you can reheat them individually in a pan (on both sides over a low/medium heat for about 30 seconds) until soft and elastic/pliable again. It's also possible to freeze them for up to 3 months!

    Can you substitue the chickpea flour with other flour like rice, oat, buchwheat, quinoa, millet? I have all other than chickpeas.

      You would need to experiment. Buckwheat or quinoa might work, but I haven't tried it.

    I made these yesterday and used them as a burrito wrap! Sooo good. But I wanted to ask whether there’s a reason you prefer tapioca starch over arrowroot flour since the former scores much higher on the glycemic index.

      Hey, tapioca flour is locally available where I live and arrowroot is not.

    Just made them. Not so easy to cook in the pan. I found I had to cool the pan first before adding a new scoop or it solidifies too quickly before I can even spread it out. They're a sort of hybrid between a pancake and a tortilla. Not quite as al dente as wheat but more flavourful, not to mention 10x more nutritious. Ill be making them again. I think a touch of sweetness is needed. I just need to get my technique down.

      @@ElaVegan yes, if you are allergic intolerant to gluten and corn, you need other seeds
      But this is not the case here .. I am shocked to see gluten free so-called Mexican style tortillas made of artificial ingredientes, preservatives, antioxidants, rubber xantan, etc.. while the healthy natural answer is so easy and immediate: corn tortillas !!!! The traditional Mexican tortillas !!!
