I just recently flew with Aegean and I was pleasantly surprised with the service, the flight and cabin crew was number one compared to others ....excellent job Aegean!
Aegean is one of the best airlines. Nice and new planes, friendly staff, good prices and safety. In Greece, we are proud for Aegean.
Some of the most non-standard pilots i have ever seen. Dangerous approach to safety from that perspective.
@@avgeek5396 look, maybe Aegean pilots you met on your flight, were not so good. But generally, Aegean Airlines is one of the most popular and safe Airliners in Europe. As you may have heard, Aegean has been recognized as one of the best Airliners in Europe.

@@avgeek5396 if all these you describe happened on your flight, I am really sorry. But personally, (and I say it as a frequent passenger of Aegean), I am sure that it was an isolated incident. Because all my flights with Aegean was almost excellent.

Good educational video and great plane. One question regarding preflight exterior inspection why wouldn’t you protect your hearing using protective headset. The APU noise is very loud (more than 90 dB I think).

the pilot is actually going around the plane checking everything is ok when it is still in flight preparation they are still loading refuelling etc I think he should do his walk around when everything is finished...surely this would be right procedure as things can go wrong with refuelling etc and baggage etc and doors etc or someone forgot this after refuelling or something else which can affect in flight procedure when in the air but it is too late than....I think this is more pre- flght so I hope they go around again

I don't understand. Nothing on the instrument panel flashed or beeped to indicate you are at proper ground speed for rotation (liftoff). Where is the ground speedometer located?
On the left screen. It’s too small to be seen from where the camera was located. There is an indication there pointing at the right speed

Well, if you are referring to the MD-80(I mean technically any aircraft could but I’m assuming you are talking about this one) Then no, not with any major airline, however you could probably still find them darting around in remote locations somewhere in the world.

What does the dual cooling mode is selected for?
It starts both engines up to about 10% N2 between 30 seconds and 2 mins depending on the engine temperature then starts one and stops the other as you can’t fully start both engines at the same time. Without it you’d have to cool one, let it start then cool the other then start it. Could take a very long time so basically it speeds up the engine starts process

@@rationalwho - In a discriminatory kind of way. You rarely see other ethnicities represented in their airlines or in other industries, they can single you out for ‘further checks’ during the boarding process etc
