- xQc did an interview on the Esport section of the RDS website when he was on the Lan ETS Event in Montreal on February 2017. RDS is a tv sports channel in Quebec and Lan ETS is a yearly Esport event in Montreal.

Edit 12/12/20 : Looking at the comments, I learned that stuttering is a real thing that affect people badly in certains ways, it was not my intention to make fun of people stuttering. Un_Ikko Purely french words make up 29% of the english language. Ever heard of the norman conquest? The language of the english nobility in the 12th century was french which would have an immense effect on the english language and even the anglo-saxon culture.

I went to high school with this guy. I still have my yearbooks with pictures. He was calm, shy/reserved and had more of a “skateboarding kid” look/style back then. Still a great person to this day in my opinion.

After doing more research apparently it's just he has a Quebec Accent cause he's a French Canadian, so it sounds weird to non speakers. Just like English there are many different accents in each language. Some Quebec natives actually find his speaking normal. But honestly even if his English is scuffed, 1000% props to him for being able to converse and understand a 2nd language to the point that he can

Since im proud of being Canadian and Quebecois im very proud of my people when they do well in sports/gaming etc, so I knew that he did an interview on RDS back in 2017 and wanted to translate it so people can understand what is he saying :)

What I'm gathering here is that French Canadian French sounds like what French would sound like if spoken by a Canadian or American.
Meh, its just the way you learn it. If an american learns french from france or whatever accent it is, he will learn the accent with it.

I am personally French Canadian and I don't know one person from America that sounds even close to that accent it's very distinct to Quebec only.
