Just so you all know -- Hiroki Kikuta was a consultant on the remake's score. I heavily doubt they would have added this if he didn't think it was exactly what they were looking for: *since he was the composer for the original game.*
Havent played the games, only heard the og track while browsing music years ago, i ended up here today and gotta say, it doesnt hit like the og, but i do like the reverb of the instruments. Og still wins imo - a nonplayer
They really went for a more cartoonish look i definitely think the original is the better one just something about the original pixel look made the monster look more intimidating i remember absolutely being scared of spiky tiger and fire gigas way back in the day
That tiger...somehow I feel as if repressed memories are coming back. Interesting to see they toned him down in the remake, he was NOT that quick to defeat in the original.
put every boss in the game to the same hp, same resistances and same level. I bet Spikey Tiger would stomp them all :P At least the SNES version of him
Just looking at the remake I can only say, Trials of Mana and Live a Live are so much better than this. It really shows what they could've done to this which they did not do.
Yikes! They turned a machete into a butter knife...totally took the bite out of the track!

I got the feeling the boss fights on snes are harder
@@WernerMeyee they probably are
@WernerMeyee The SNES boss fights are harder. Spike Tiger was a beast on SNES, but in this game he's a joke.
@@BrandyBrandalia thats a shame i remember how much i dreaded running into any boss when i was not prepared
@@BrandyBrandalia That thing was a roadblock. If you didn't level a bit, got enough healing items and have a bit of luck it could destroy you easily.
What the hell did they do to this track?? Why is it so... Beta?
Remake remix can’t even touch the original :(
Gotta love this track. Pure nostalgia.
Haaaah! Love the Tiger Costume lol
That a mod or something legit in the game now? Just got the game and was curious.
It's a dlc code that should come in the physical game
No, it's something that you get if you pre-order the game
Good god! They butchered this horribly!
Damn that's a good remix and a sweet looking remake
I think the remake could've looked better tbh. Graphics look like a PSP game tbh.

This game around play?
