    My life was dedicated to skydiving for years but it's been 10 years since my last jump. I could smell the fabric of my parachute while watching this.

    i didnt know packing a parachute could be this fast, i thought it took wayyyy longer. i wonder what causes line twists and malfunctions. u should do a vid on what not to do when packing and what causes line twists and other problems.

    I watched an hour long third person packing video, and this first person packing video. Without even having my AFF complete, I already feel far more confident in my ability to pack when the time comes.
    Thanks!

    I have learned alot from your viedos. I am getting my A license done in a few jumps and I am packing myself but this part is truly my weak spot. I am glad you are sharing your expertise so I can improve mine! I have already packed a rigg for a fellow student and I was worrying the whole jump until I saw him on the ground with a great smile and he told me my packing was more than OK! My confidence improved by a million after that.

    While making your second "S" when putting the canopy into the D-bag shoudn't you avoid placing the lines in a position in which they will brush the material of the canopy while deploying ?
    I mean if you make the second 'S' a bit lower the lines will stick out and won't be stuck between material

    I was taught to do single wraps on the primary stows with the rubber bands that go through the grommets, then double stow on the rest. Have you heard of that? Reason for a double vs single on the four grommet stows? Thanks!

    • @SalvadorChangg
      @SalvadorChangg  2 роки тому

      I have heard of that, there are many different ways to pack, and there’s no “correct” way to pack. I’d say always ask why someone does what they do and see their answer. I personally feel double stows work better for me but it’s personal preference.

      UA-cam it, you basically induce a 180° line twist, roll up the canopy like a sleeping bag, take out the line twist, and bag it

    So is it normal that after you cock your pilot shoot and fold everything in the dbag that your pilot shoot becomes uncocked? Or is that my kill line getting too short? I had a pilot shoot in tow on my 27th jump and had my first cutaway. So now i pull the kill line out of my pilot shoot till i can and seems to work but i pull it past the colored part of the line
