I suffered a lot from migraines when I was at school. It was so bad at times that out of a full school term I would be absent for about 40% of the 12 weeks(at least according to the surviving school reports I still have(flipping waste of time those school reports were, I bet the teachers just wrote the same thing on all 30 odd kids that were in the class, mine are all mostly "tries but could do better.")). Migraines are worse than headaches, they like headaches except you go dizzy, light headed and vision goes funny. Am surprised that I never fainted when it happened at school. Am starting to ramble here so I will stop.
*Growing Pains* 😵 I was constantly dismissed for all the twinges & shooting pains I had all over as a child!! Even had a hip x-ray in my teens because they were aching so much ("normal" apparently & no explanation of why they hurt so badly). I now realise I hold a lot of my stress in my hips & lower back & I reckon if I'd not been stopped from big physical stims as a child, I might not have built up so much tension my whole life! I've found yoga amazing for releasing the tension & also improving my terrible (dyspraxic) balance.
I don’t do yoga nearly as often as I would probably benefit from anymore, but I’ve had a fair few times my shoulder pain has flared up and following a 20 mins yoga video has totally fixed it for the day! The downside is when I do it too often I Ed up overstretching my hips and causing different aches to replace my usually ones 😂
I did yoga for years. Some benefits but did not help with other stuff. Did not help with a type of cramps which I wonder now whether it is to do with HM or Autism.

I have had headaches and migraines since i was really young, probably 5 years old. I had permission to put my head down on my desk and the teacher had asprin for me to take all throughout grade school. I would get migraines when we did high stress things as a family too, such as birthday parties and vacations. I still have a lot of headaches and migraines at 44 years old.
I have a permanent slight stomach ache or tension. I've never seen a doctor about it because I've just got used to it and I'm concerned he would see it as trivial and that I'm wasting his time. Even if that didn't occur I suspect it would just be blamed on my diet and I'd be told to change that which would be really hard. A final concern is that I'd be referred for tests or to a consultant and what seemed like a very minor complaint would turn out to be some terrible illness! I try to keep away from doctors as much as possible for all these reasons. A lot of us live with health problems - often minor but sometimes major - that we just feel we have to put up with (not that we should).
I have suffered from gall bladder pain all my life. Anything can set it off. And when it happens I will be in severe pain for up to 20 hours and be sore for a day or two afterwards.
Hi yes EDS is more common with Autism. Also linked to Hypermobility. I have been told I have borderline EDS but waiting for referral. Yes research more if you feel you want to. EDS can cause pain problem's.
I saw someone mentioned Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome before below. A lot of the issues you've talked about in this video are things that I've also dealt with (albeit in different phases of my life) and a lot of what you've experience sounds like it may be some kind of hypermobile spectrum disorder (of which hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos is on the extreme end of) and related Mast Cell Activation Syndrome causing the skin issues, both of which could also explain the GI issues. It also seems to be overrepresented in the autism community. Just something that you may want to look into a little more if you get the chance :)

@@DanaAndersen that can be a problem with hypermobility - the stretch just feels so good it's easy to overdo it! 🤕

Sometimes you have to put up with illnesses because the treatments only work so well.

This is so relatable. Have you ever heard of Ehlers- Danlos syndrome ?
I’ve been hearing about it increasingly often and thinking I should probably do some actual research!
