Grand Tuhon Supremo Leo T. Gaje Jr. displays how the basic drills transitions into bridging entries. Counter offensive entries can lead to empty hand striking, locking or grappling. At higher levels of training, there is a counter to counter drill/exercise in which each person tries to counter each others locks or takedowns.

Agreed. That goes for all the old school masters of any system. They won't hold back on inflicting the pain.
