Even seasoned GS mains whiff their attacks, so you're already halfway there to being an expert! Amazing video btw, I learned a lot and I'll be trying this out for fun. 🔥
this is such a nice thorough video, finding out that you can preserve charge level even after the swing has actually blown my mind, gonna have to try using this skill again with that knowledge thank you.
Great video! I knew there was potential with backslide, but I didn't understand it enough to use it effectively. Now I need to figure out if it works with surge slash, I haven't had much success with that but if I know how to control the direction it might work well
Kinda wish Rising Slash out of backslide moved you forward more, but I'm definitely giving it a chance. Now I don't have to worry about slotting quick sheath and focus 😅
I would be interested about a video about the surge slash combo. I know there are already some videos out there but maybe you could find out some interesting things
I'm sure this goes without saying for most people, but the invincibility on Backslide would pair well with skills like Status Trigger or Adrenaline Rush. I think Status Trigger would also be a great addition to the Jail Hammer playstyle covered on this channel, along with Courage hammer and Keeping Sway.
So this is gonna be covered in the follow up videos, but status trigger only activates for a single wirebug-based evade and that is the switch axe's wire step. I was a bit bummed it doesn't work with keeping sway so my ideal jail hammer playstyle might not be quite there. Still, both wire step and keeping sway are on my list for the next videos so we'll see what they're all about!
@@lyeoj Well, that's kind of a downer. I kind of hope they change that in a later update, since aside from the direction it goes I'm not sure what makes Wire Step different. That being said, I'm still excited to see you cover the skills in the future.

Same thoughts. I didn't listen to the big channels and I use backslide along with surge slash combo. It feels like I have absolute readiness from GU
Still can't believe your content gets so little recognition, wish you to be blessed by algorithm, Lyeoj!

So Backslide stores up the last charge before using the skill, Interesting!

bro you have 9000+ IQ for discovering that consecutive LV3 charge with adamant charged slash
I usually use the powesheath every time I want to sheath the greatsword so the buff is nearly always active
I try that back slide hehheh
With adamant slash
nah, i'm not convinced
true charge slash cannot be over charged
