Making a knife from a car engine’s valve

To make a knife from the valve of the car engine, I first
separate its ends from both sides. Then I put it in the
furnace to heat up well. Using a press machine, I make
the shaft into a flat shape. In the next step, I remove the
extra parts with a grinder machine, then I scrape the
edges. Now it is the time to put the shaft again in the
furnace until it becomes hot and golden, then I
immerse it into oil. By sanding and polishing this step
goes to end.
In this step I’m going to work on the haft of the knife.
It is made of brass and mulberry wood. I draw a
hexagonal pattern on the haft. The design be made by
the grinder. In the following process I am going to
create a hole in the middle of that haft. I glue the haft
and the knife together. finally, I sharpen the edge with
a sharpener. Now I’m done. The knife is ready.
