Water Quality Update for May 2024: Dona Bay

Sarasota County Public Works stormwater program manager Michael Jones gives us an update on the Dona Bay Watershed Restoration project. Jones is proud to report that his team has recently completed Phase 2 of this project. During this phase, water is diverted off of the Cow Pen Slough Canal and ran through a series of wetlands and stormwater treatment areas. This phase has been nominated for the Florida Stormwater Association Excellence Award! 🏆💧
