I think this relates to the other side of the moon video because it had the squares. Maybe when you go up the stairs you are back home and live a normal life, not knowing that you are not in your original world.

Once you cross over to the other dimension there is no trace of you going there. The portal disappears and the stairs appear at random times so the appearances could be months or even decades apart. The portals have a quality that lures you to the other dimension and if the stairs appear to lead nowhere it is simply an illusion perhaps?

Okay, so I have a theory, it ain’t perfect but I guess it might do for now. So, the stairs were not stairs, but actually some entity/demon that took the form of them to trick humans. Of course, when the good people come, they disappear too. Someone in the beginning of the video says, “That’s where she disappeared”, according to that phrase, if you see someone disappear on the stairs, you’re less likely to, and if this wasn’t the case, they’d have been done for.
