We waited two games to hear the original theme again, and when they hit us with it in the ending credits, and the way Koji Kondo revealed it after the amazing first half of the song, it was overwhelming and became my favorite song. It's difficult for covers to capture the first and second half of the melodies together with those integral notes right before the main theme, but you did it perfectly. Thank you.

This is hands down the best music in the series. There are lots and lots of good melodies through all the games, much more recognizable btw, but none of them are so dramatic and impactful as this one. It's just perfect, a truly masterpiece, and this cover transcribes it perfectly.

I do hear some stereo channel separation, but I think my ears prefer a wider mix and it sounds to me like all the voices are located pretty close to center. I waited for my stop. As soon as I got off I sprinted to my room and I had a long driveway. I instantly plugged it in to the charger and started the fight. That fight is still one of the best ever. I had finally beat Ganon. I was so happy. I made it through the cutscenes and as soon as I heard this song I felt that beating this game was truly worth it. Now everytime I hear this song I get emotional. I mean it was the first Zelda I ever beat without help haha. Also yeah I played it on the GBASP

I'm SO glad to see another video from you- I actually was looking last month and sad I hadn't seen anything for such a long time! My gladness was multiplied a thousand-fold as I listened, though, because this is truly a masterful performance and arrangement. From the start you very seriously set the emotional tone with that scratchy, deep, EARTHY cello voice, accented with tiny little notes here and there; it totally encapsulated and transformed the relief and joy I had as a kid FINALLY beating Ganon and saving Hyrule into something resoundingly complex and meaningful enough to me to send chills down my spine for full measures- and then the main theme came in. This was so utterly satisfying in such a complete way that I don't think I can truly do it justice with words, as much as I might try; it feels so composed and regal throughout, driving emotion through every single second, and that final freakin' harmony... Just... Wow. I love this SO very much. Thank you.
